REPAIR/ MAINT OF HIGH BAY/ MID BAY/ LOW BAY LIGHTS/ INDUSTIAL POWER SUPPLY SERVICES, HANGAR MOTORS, HANGER EARTHINGS INCLUDING NAVY HANGER AND MISC E/M WORKS IN CERTAIN AREAS

Attending unserviceable/ non-functional hanger/wall/ surface High bay/ Mid bay/ low bay/ flood light complaints including hanger motors and hanger earthings (for lights etc of any type/size fitted on poles/ walls/ post/ pillars/ hangers etc) by deploying technically qualified and experienced techinicians to find out defective/ taking out unserviceable parts such as electronic driver, PVC insulated copper conductor cable for connecting street light fittings etc and repairing by changing the defective parts including minor repair to cable connection/ loose connection, screws, nuts & bolts and insulation tape to insulate the LT joint etc and testing complete all as specified and as directed complete at AF Station (technical area) Sulur

(d) A Joint Inspection for Serviceability of all Hanger Lights shall be carried out from 7.00 PM to 9.00 PM on every FRIDAY by Engineer-in-Charge/ JE (E/M)/ User alongwith Contractor or his authorised Representitive. (e) Contractor has to arrange own T&P for repairing and testing of the high bay/mid bay/low bay Lights, rectification of defected Cables, etc. and to check the serviceability after repair. (f) Quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of attending any breakdown of Hangers Lights during night. Contractor has to arrange Electrician and Helper and all necessary T&P and equipments to remove the breakdown. Fault will be intimated through Telephone/ SMS.

(g) In case of any delay in attending the complaint more than 12 hrs after handing over routine/urgent work, the contractor shall be liable to pay the penalty as described in penalty clause given here as under. (h) The penalty shall be applicable to the contractor if the delay is noticed by the JE/Engr-in-Cahrge more than twelve hrs after handing over works of urgent nature to the contractor. The JE/Engr-in-Charge shall handover the slip containing specification of work to the contractor by lodging the time and signature of contractor shall be obtained on slip. The contractor shall attend the complaint immediately and shall report to Engr-in-Charge with in 12 hrs. The contractor will keep his tradesmen in stand by for attending any routine /urgent works from the executive. If the nature of job is such that the work cannot be completed within period of 12hrs then the facts shall be brought to the notice of the GE/Engr-in-Charge and the period for the working to the complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC. If the delay is more then twelve hrs period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the double rate per job shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. Please note that this penalty is exclusively other then the condition 56 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforce above as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt. The decision of the Accepting Officer is this regards shall be final and binding.

(j) Contractor has to ensure serviceability of Hanger lights on Daily basis in any Weather Condition at their own arrangement. (k) Contractor shall provide conveyance to the deployed labour for maintaining the services without any extra cost to department (l) Vehicle mounted ladder for maintaining services shall be provided by the contractor at no extra cost to department. (m) Materials required for the repairing of the lights and spares shall be measured and paid separately under respective item(s).

(n) Necessary T&P, Safety Belt, Vehicle, Ladder, etc. will be arranged by the Contractor and Cost for the same shall be deemed to be included in the Quoted Rate. (o) All safety measures and provn of all safety devices, first aid box etc shall be provided by the contractor. Contractor will be solely responsible for full safety of the persons deployed for providing the services and department will have no liability for any type of accident/injury of any type. Unit rate quoted shall be deemed to be included the cost of the same and no extra payment shall be made on this part. (p) All type of T & P, PVC insulation tapes, minor nuts/ bolts/ washers etc required for maintaining the services shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost to department.

(q) Attending and repairing each complaint of any type shall be measured and paid as one Job. (r) Earth work (if necessary at Site) for removing of any Cable Fault will be Measured and Paid under respective Items. (s) The contractor shall maintain a record of all urgent work at and if the work is repeated due to poor workmanship, he will be liable to repair the same without any extra expenditure to the Govt. (t) Contractor shall provide contact details of his responsible person(s) for any emergency. (u) Any Materials replaced which are not specified in SCHEDULE OF CREDIT will be deposited to MES STORE YARD without any extra Cost to the Department.

Supply and fix in replacement of LED Driver 160W suitable for High bay industrial LED light fitting, operates from 90-305VAC, 127-431VDC, dual modes, constant power adjustable via built-in potentiometer, rated output voltage 34V, built in active PFC function, IP -67 rating, output adjustable via potentiometer; 3 in 1 dimming DALI, 50000 hrs lifetime complete all as specified and as directed

Disconnecting of burnt/ damaged LT cables by fault finding from panels/ junction boxes etc, cutting out the burnt out ends, making new end joints by supply and fixing new aluminium lugs/ insulation tapes etc and reconnecting using new nuts/ bolts/ washer etc and restoring three phase and neutral in the junction box for LT underground armoured cables up to 35 sqmm 3.5 core size complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Earth work required for extending the incoming/ outgoing cable in junction box/ panel board etc shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Supply and fix in replacement of metal clad switch socket, triple pole, neutral and earth enclosure with three pin and earth plug with socket complete with on triple pole 20 Amps, 415 Volts MCB complete all as specified and as directed.
