Labour charges to carry out Earth resistance test with well calibrated suitable earth resistance tester after opening the test points and recording the result in presence of MES Representative / Qtr or Bldg Occupant complete all as per IS 3043 of 1966. NOTE: - (i) Calibration certificate of earth resistance tester (not more than 3 months old) should be submitted to the AGE E/M office before starting the work. (ii)The result should be recorded in the result sheet as directd by Engineer-in-charge. (iii) Two seprate team should be used for recording the test result and the Test result should be submitted to the AGE E/M Office on weekly basis.Testing equipment has to be arranged by the contractor on his own.The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of this provision.

Taking down existing GI /AL conductor strips of any type and any description from wall/roof and removing materials to store for keeping in safe custody or for taking credit and making good to the disturbed surfaces to match the existing complete all as specified.

M&L to Rejuvenate the existing earthing (GI/Copper plate earthig) with provision of new layers of charcoal and salt all as specified in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I, including cleaning of existing GI/Copper earth plate, conductors etc., connecting with new bolts, nuts and washers complete including testing on completion all as directed. NOTE : - Excavation, PCC for earth pit and cover, watering pipe, funnel with wire mesh, earth lead and protection pipe shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L for plate earthing complete with galvanised mild steel plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically (in earth pit not less than 2.25 m below normal ground level) with the top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, the earth electrode surrounded by adequate quantity of charcoal dust and salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm on all sides and incl GI strip 32x5 mm bolted (with GI nuts, bolts & check nuts) and riveted to earth plate at one end and connected to metallic bodies of equipments etc at the other end , earth strip encased in and including 40 mm bore GI light grade pipe with all fittings from top of electrode to body of equipment fixed with and including 25 x 4 mm flat iron clamps, bolts, nuts and washer and also including providing watering pipe 20mm bore GI pipe light grade ISI Marked from bottom of earth pit to top of electrode complete with wire mesh , funnel complete all specified and shown in electrical plate No -3 of SSR Pt-I. Note :- (a) Rates for GI strip32x5 mm and 40 mm dia ISI Marked protection pipe light grade upto 7.5 mtr from earth plate is deemed to be included in quoted rate. (b) On testing after one weeks of completion of earthing if less than 5 Ohm earth resistance is not obtained the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to government. (c) Unservicable earthing will be dismantled from above ground level and disturbed ground made good as directed for which cost of earthwork,demolition of cement concrete is deemed to be included in quoted rate.

M&L for earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 600mm X 600mm X 3 mm thick, burried directly in ground (Earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to copper strip 20x3 mm as earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of copper or brass connected to earth test point including watering pipe 20mm bore GI pipe light grade ISI marked from bottom of earth pit to top of electrode complete with funnel, necessary earth work excavation in any type of soil complete all as shown in electrical plate No 3 and all as specified and or indicated including testing on completion all as specified and as directed. NOTE :- (a) Rates for Copper strip 20x3 mm and 40 mm dia protection pipe light grade ISI marked upto 7.5 mtr from earth plate is deemed to be included in quoted rate. (b)On testing after one weeks of completion, if the earth resistance < 3 ohms is not obtained, earthing to be rejuvenated at no extra cost till the desired earth resistance is obtained. (c) Unservicable earthing will be dismantled from above ground level and disturbed ground made good as directed for which cost of earthwork,demolition of cement concrete is deemed to be included in quoted rate.

M&L for Maintenance Free Grounding Solution set earthing comprising of High tensile low carbon steel rod of 3 Mts length & 17.2 mm dia with 250micron ( average ) molecularly bonded copper on the outer surface suitable for copper strip 20 x 3 mm along with 50 KG Back-fill compound strictly be a Carbon based conductive concrete type which has a resistivity of less than 0.12 Ohm Mtr. Back-fill compound should be electronically conductive ( Like in metals ) and should not depend on moisture for conduction. Back-fill compound should be environment friendly, should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete and should not leach / diffuse into the ground. (c) Test certificate from the OEM has to be produced by the contractor for the material used in earthing (d) Unservicable earthing will be dismantled from above ground level and disturbed ground made good as directed for which cost of earthwork,demolition of cement concrete is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground vertically (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.50 mtr deep below normal ground level, connecting to GI earth wire 4 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts, and washers of galvanized iron or steel including 15 mm dia. light grade protection pipe for earth lead complete with charcoal and common salt in alternate layer of 15CM including watering arrangement with galvanized iron pipe light grade 20mm dia ISI marked, MS funnel with wire mesh all as shown in electrical plate no 3 of SSR part I .Note :- (a) Rates for GI earth wire 4 mm dia and 15 mm dia light grade ISI Marked protection pipe upto 7.5 mtr from earth plate is deemed to be included in rate quoted. (b) On testing after one weeks of completion of earthing if less than 5 Ohm earth resistance is not obtained the earthling to be redone at no extra cost. (c) Unservicable earthing will be dismantled from above ground level and disturbed ground made good as directed for which cost of earthwork,demolition of cement concrete is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

S&F in repair funnel made out of AL/GI / mild steel sheet in conical shape,l for watering the earth complete all as specified and as diirected.

Supply and fix light grade ISI marked GI Pipe 20 mm dia for watering the earth/As stand post to Air Termination rod complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix light grade ISI marked GI Pipe 40 mm dia for protection of earthing lead and fixed to floor/structural steel/ wall, fixing with steel clamps, nut bolts complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix ready made outdoor type heavy duty polymer earth pit chamber box having load bearing capacity 3 Ton & inner size 270x270x260 mm with provision of earthing strip/ GI pipe entry glands and cover complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. M&L in replacement for test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75 X 75 X 25 mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos 8 mm dia 25 mm long hex head screw and connected to Copper/ Aluminium / GI strips complete housed in a PVC junction box all as specified and directed. Note : 1. The test points wil be properly fixed on epoxy insulators. 2. Epoxy insulators will be measured and paid seperately under relevant items.

S&F in replacement Air termination single pointed aluminium rod not less than 12mm dia and 300mm long end threaded all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs Post insulator epoxy LV type suitable for aluminium/ GI strip 25 x 4 mm lightening conductor fixed on wall/roof/pole including screw, and taking out existing insulators complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F Post insulator centrally threaded epoxy LV type suitable for holding threaded aluminium/ copper Air Termination rod 12 mm dia fixed on stand post including screw complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for conductor fixed to wall on porcelain/epoxy insulators or recess or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc.connected upto test terminal point etc complete including fixing with saddles and screws for fixing porcelain/epoxy insulators/conduit/pipe , all as specified and directed for the following type of conductors :- Note : -(i) Insulators/conduit/pipe shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate items here in after (ii) AL/GI/copper strips should be tested from government approved lab / NABL lab and material grading certificate, purity certificate should be submitted to engineer in charge before starting the work.

M&L for GI Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead of dia 6mm fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthling etc. as required 6mm dia galvanised iron or steel wire

Taking down existing roof / down/ earth continuity conductor/ static discharge strips of any type and any description/ size from wall/roof/floor and refixing the same with post insulator epoxy LV type at maximum 0.5 M span including brass nut , bolts, washers etc. and making good to the disturbed surfaces to match the existing complete all as specified and directed at site. Note : - Insulators shall be measured and paid separately.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for taking out pipe / cables/ earthing and earth lead etc and getting out in average soil complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer - in - Charge

M & L for PCC (1:4:8) type D2(using 40 mm graded stone aggregate ) as in Cement concrete in surfacing and drains similar works, filling mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for machine pressed precast cement concrete glossy interlocking paver block any shape and size as approved, 60mm thick, conforming to IS 15658-2006, M-35 with grey cement in floor/ pavement laid over and including 25mm thick sand cushioning laid dry to the profile including vibrating with surface vibrator after laying of tiles including dismantling existing blocks, tiles, removing rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE: (i) Manufacturers test certificate shall be submitted alongwith sample.

Supply and lay in trenches / fixed to walls PVC super quality pipe of 32 mm dia thickness not less than 1mm for protection of earth strip complete fixing with suitable clamps at 1 M span all as specified and as directed. (Make Finolex or equivalant) NOTE :- Rates for flat iron clamps, bolts, nuts and washer etc are deemed to be included in quoted rate.

Supply and fixing in repair for rigid PVC conduit 20mm dia ISI marked heavy duty of white/ ivory colour with all accessories and making good the disturbed surfaces for laying of earth wire complete all as directed

Supply and replace for single core cable PVC insulated and unsheathed multistranded copper cable of size 4.0 Sq mm from earth conductor to the main DB including removal old existing unserviceable one complete all as specified and directed.

Note : 1. Performance security:- Refer Condition 22 of Special Conditions. 2. Quoted Contract Sum shall be arrived at after deducting the amount of Credit Schedule (refer Schedule of Credit in pdf form for quantity, rate and amount etc.) for old unserviceable materials retrieved from site.
