Renovation of Room No. 215 in Main Building and Providing Aluminium window in a room in Cyber Building at CSIR-NGRI

Description of Items :

Providing and fixing aluminium work for doors, casement windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular/appropriate Z sections/ Aluminium grill of approved make conforming to IS:733 and IS: 1285, fixed with rawl plugs and screws or with fixing clips, or with expansion hold fastners including necesssary filling up of gaps at junctions, at top, bottom and sides with required PVC/neoprene felt etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing/panelling, C.P. brass/stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge.(Glazing and panelling to be paid for separately.) For fixed portion Powder coated aluminimum (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron)

Providing and fixing Float glass panes with necessary accessories 5 mm thick glass pane ( plain Float glass)

12 mm thick pre-laminated particle board (decorative laminationon both sides) grade -1, medium density flat pressed, threelayer particle board FPT- I or graded wood particle board FPT- I,conforming to IS : 3087, bonded with BWP type synthetic resinadhesive as per IS : 848 and pre- laminated conforming to IS :12823, Grade 1, Type - II marked :

Providing and Fixing of profacted 3 mm thick hard board of size 4' x 4' for false ceiling on wooden batten with the help of nails or screws. old or new wooden batten be fixed with epoxy chemical and wood / fastner and screws in ceiling for false ceiling work and the insulation material to be placed between ceiling and hard board for as insulation. (Insulation material and required new batten will paid separately.)

Removing of Existing false ceiling/roofing (means removing of profacted hard board, removing of wooden batten with out damaging ceiling) and stacking of the servicable materials and disposal of unservicable materials out side the NGRI campus. ( the false ceiling having loose Glass wool. Workers are not allowed without safty precaution) Removed glass wool to be filled in plastic bag and sealed them in proper manner as per instruction of Engineer -In-charge.

Providing and fixing both side laminated plywood Board of green ply/century ply 5 mm thick ply

French spirit polishing: Two or more coats on new works including a coat of wood filler.

Providing and fixing bright finished 100 mm mortice lock with 6 leverswithout pair of handles of approved quality for sliding aluminium door, withnecessary screws etc complete as per direction of Engineer- in-charge.

Providing and fixing 100mm width cotton fabric vertical Blind of make touch vertical fabric with Aluminium runner, x rod, with acraylic chain, bottom chain, bottom, weights, rope and gear with end caps and brackets.
