M&L for Brick work with sub class ‘B’ bricks, old size straight or curved on plan exceeding 6.00 metre mean radius, built in cement mortar (1:4) including corbelling and arches where shown on drawings, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Cement Concrete nominal mix design type B-1, 1:2:4 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) in Beams, cantilevers, bressummers, lintels over 1.5m span, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for TMT bars 10 mm dia., and over cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia., or securing with clips quality confirming to Fe-410-S 0r Fe-410-O, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for TMT bars 5 mm dia., and over upto cut to length, bent to shape required, including 10 mm strirrups securing with clips quality confirming to Fe-410-S 0r Fe-410-O, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Form work to sides and soffits of floor or lintel beams, beam hunching, girders, bressummers, lintels, cantilevers, shelves including sup-ports, overhangs, etc. finished rough surfaces, also splays between floors and beams etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Plain Cement Concrete (1:2:4) type B-1(using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in cills, PCC blocks, coping, seismic and other similar bands, plinth bend, etc including weathering slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throuting including necessary form work etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for 24 guage chicken wire mesh for plastering work at joints of wall & beam Rcc etc ,of 10 mm to 13 mm opening dia size, fix with nails, screws or supporting arrangement as required, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Rendering 15mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:4 on Fair Faces of Brick Walls or on Concrete Surfaces fair and even plastered Surfaces Finished, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Rough Cast Plaster on Brick Walls consisting Under Coat of Cement and Sand Mortar 1:3 not less than 10mm thick and while it is still in Plastic state the Rough Cast Mixture consisting of Crushed Stone or Fine Gravel mixed with Coarse Sand and Cement in the Ratio 1:1:1 shall be applied and finish Even, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation new plastered surface of wall, concrete surface and applying two coats of all weather exterior emulsion paints in camouflaging pattren @1.43 litre/10 sqm over and including priming coats of exterior primer of same make applied @0.9 litre/10 sqm as per new sigma pattern generated by station authority and RGB value variation from 110 to 171 by using 4 to 5 colour shades as per approved pattern over coat of 2 mm wall putty finish on surface at a height n.exc 5 mtr as per sample approved by GE, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. (note: the % of the colour may change without any financial effect.)

Taking down cement plaster on brick/ stone masonary including raking out joints, hacking for scrubbing down with water etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for rendering 10 mm thick in CM 1:6 on concrete/brick wall surfaces finished surface even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Prepration of newly plastered surfaces of walls including cornices pilasters etc and applying two coat of oil bound Distemper (OBD) over a coat of priming surface, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Prepration of old decorated surfaces of walls including cornices pilasters etc (plastered or unplastered surfaces),washing rubbing down and stopping of distempered and painted surface and applying two coat of oil Emulsion Distemper (OBD), complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of brick work or stone/boulder masonry including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, built in cement mortar, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Fair cutting not exc 10 cm width or girth on exposed surfaces of old brickwork such as in splays, chamfers, etc. including rubbed finish and waste, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Cutting holes into or through brick walls n.exc 150 sqm built in mud mortar and making good in cement mortar 1:3 or cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-l as required, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Cutting out bricks built in new brick wall with CM 1:4, forming toothing for, and bonding new into old work including value of new materials entering old walls and jointing and pointing (measured on vertical face in contact with old wall only), complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick with soft /loose soils, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing excavated material exc 250 mtr not exc 500 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point in soils, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for broken stone boulders Hardcore of gauge n exc. 63 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for 100 mm thick Cement concrete type D 2, 1:4:8 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) in sub base of flooring/ hard standing, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for 75 mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 as in plinth protection finished surface even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Vitrified Ceramic tiles light shed 10 mm thick (square/ rectangular) polished, area of each tiles exceeding 0.42 sqm, but n exc 1.00 sqm in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match laid over and including 15mm thick cement screed bedding layer in cement mortar 1:6, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Vitrified Ceramic tiles light shed 10 mm thick (square/ rectangular) polished, area of each tiles n.exceeding 0.36 sqm, in walls etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match laid over including 10mm thick screed bedding layer in cement mortar 1:4 walls, finished even and rough to receive the top layer, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Granite stone 16-18 mm thick machine cut, bedded and jointed with grey cement slurry and pointed with white cement with admixture of pigment to match the shade of granite stone including grinding and polishing and exposed edges of granite shall be rounded including 15mm thick screed bed to floor finishes in cm 1:4 complete all specified and directed.

Taking down chowkhats or frame with shutter (without taking off shutter from the frame), n.exc 1.5 Sqm, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F of Sheet glass, 6.30 mm of thickness, ordinary quality and glazing with oil putty in square exc 0.5 sq. m in each pane, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

34W/MR-01/25-26 PROVN OF MAINTENANCE FREE EARTHING PITS (E/M PORTION)

M&L for commissioning, installation and testing of maintenance free UL approved copper bonded earth rod of 10 feet length 17.2 mm dia (as per drg) made of high tensile low carbon steel rod, molecularly bonded with 99.9% electrolytic grade copper on outer surface (minimum copper bonding thickness - 250 microns) with exothermally jointed copper bus bar of 50 x 6 X 200 mm for connection. The rod and exothermic joint together successfully tested at 25 KA fault current by CPRI with 50 Kg eco friendly earth enhancing compound with each earth rod. The earth pit should be 125 mm dia. the compound should comply to IEC:62561-7 having passed leaching, corrosion, sulphur and resistivity test as per IEC: 62651-7 by NABL accredit Lab with FRP earth pit cover of top size lockable Lid. S&F test point terminal block made of gunmetal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed incl 3 Nos 8mm dia 25mm long hexa head screw, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F of copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm on PVC/porcelain insulator at suitable distance with saddeles and fixing screw etc for roof/Wall conductors and down conductors above ground all joints of copper strip should be brazed properly, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
