Restoration / Upkeepment of Lift Irrigation Station Plal damaged due to landslide in Distt Kathua.

Restoration of Lift Irrigation Station Plal of Distt Kathua by way of desilting of pump house from inside along with surrounding periphery of the pump room caused due to heavy flood resulting intensive accumulation of sand/ silt and other unwanted material thus causing heavy damage to the installed existing electro mechanical components lying inside the pump room. The job further involves clearance of sand, silt and unwanted material from inside the pump room. Dismantling of installed electro-mechanical equipment from their installed position for the purpose of cleaning of silt, sand accumulated beneath and around the surroundings of equipment by using various cleaning chemicals. Cleaning and washing the floor of the pump house and then placing as well as re-installing the dismantled components in their respective installed positions. The job includes removing of bushes, pebbles and stones from periphery and along the side of approach path ways. The job is to be executed by engaging labour and necessary tools and tackles for removing silt, sand and other unwanted materials away from the pump house at certain distance from the site at a suitable place. Servicing of 2 cusec x 40 m head horizontal split casing pump set coupled with 50 HP motor (2 No’s) done by way of de-coupling from the motor and suction delivery lines at site , properly cleaning of all internal parts of pump to remove all debris and mud, providing and fitting of new gland packing with nut bolts, rubber sheet after cleaning the gland bushes and gland plate sets, applying sufficient amount of grease to bearings its refitting back to its position at site for installation. Servicing of 2 no’s motors of 50 HP by the way of opening of side covers then extraction of rotor & stator. Cleaning the stator and applying two alternate coats of varnish and drying each coat by hot air process. Fitting the rotor and complete greasing of bearings properly. Fitting the damaged cable ends at motor side after repairs and then thimbling them properly by providing and fitting of copper thimbles of required size. Job includes hire charges of tools & tackles, to and fro, labour charges for skilled/semiskilled labour, cost of material used for execution of job at site Lift irrigation station Plal and testing of Pumping unit at full load. Repairs to choked 200 mm diameter foot valves (2 No’s) installed on suction lines of Lift irrigation station Plal by way of dismantling of foot valves along with choked suction pipes and cleaning of mud/silt from pipes and foot valves using special tools and tackles. Complete dismantling of foot valves and then providing/fitting of new leather washers cut to size with proper holes, adjustment of flaps with repairs to hinges after proper welding where ever required. Reassembling the foot valves along with suction pipes by providing/fitting of new Rubber sheets gaskets and nuts, bolts etc. Servicing of 100 KVA electric transformer and associated works at Lift irrigation station Plal by way of disconnecting the HV links from 11KV line to disconnect the transformer from power supply and then lowering of 100KVA transformer with the help of chain pulley/manual labour at a suitable working position/place. Draining out of the contaminated T. oil. Unscrewing the nuts/bolts of the top cover and then lifting it with the help of Chain pulley, checking of internal assembly and filling of fresh 155 litres T Oil. Further the job involves providing and fitting of new link sets and D.O set in place of damaged ones. Refitting of top covers and screwing in position using chain pulley block and manual labour. P/f of HV/LV bushes metal parts, gaskets, nuts and bolts. Complete job included cost of material and labour charges (skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled) required to execute the job. Servicing of 100 KVA voltage stabilizer installed at Lift irrigation station Plal by way of disconnecting all electrical connections. Unfastening of nuts bolts and opening of the top cover. Extraction of complete unit by way of chain pulley block, tripod stand to draw out all coils, rotary switches and other parts of the stabilizer. Shifting of the extracted parts outside the pump room by deploying manual labour and with the help of tools tackles. Cleaning of all the voltage stabilizer parts and connections with cleaning chemicals agent to remove mud and dust from them. Job further includes reconditioning and varnishing of all coils followed by replacement of all damaged internal wiring by providing and fitting of the components of the same rating and specification. Soldering the internal connections and tapping it. Draining out transformer oil and providing and filling of 120 litres of fresh transformer oil in voltage stabilizer and filtration of existing transformer oil. Replacement of voltmeter and ampere-meter. Making all incoming and outgoing electrical connections. Testing the stabilizer on no load and then on full load. Complete job includes cost of material, hire charges of tools and tackles and labour charges. Complete painting of electro-mechanical components i.e pump- motor sets of Unit No 1 & 2, pipes inside pumping station, suction pipes, valves etc of LIS Plal by way of rubbing and scraping of the surfaces of the components with the sand paper. Application of two coats of paint to the pump - motor sets, valves, pipes and suction pipes. Complete job includes cost of material, labour charges, transportation charges of the material and other kinds of taxes thereof. Complete Job

Job involves cost of materials, labour cost for both skilled and un skilled labour and hire charges for tools and tackles. Servicing of 12.5 HP motors of pumping unit no 1, 2 & 3 by the way of dismantling of side covers then extraction of rotor & stator. Cleaning the stator and applying two alternate coats of varnish and drying each coat by hot air process. Fitting the rotor and complete greasing of bearings properly. Fitting the damaged cable ends at motor side after repairs and then thimbling them properly after providing of copper thimbles of required size. Up-keepment / Servicing of three number choked foot valves of 200 mm of LIS Bobiya by way of dismantling of foot valves along with choked suction pipes and cleaning of mud/silt from pipes and foot valves using special tools and tackles. Complete dismantling of foot valves and then providing/fitting of new leather washers cut to size with proper holes, adjustment of flaps with repairs to hinges after proper welding where ever required. Reassembling the foot valves along with suction pipes by providing/fitting of new rubber sheets and nuts, bolts etc. Repairs to 100 KVA electric transformer installed at LIS Bobiya by way insolating of transformer from 11 KV HT supply, removing of HT cables and LT cables from the transformer. Lifting of transformer from installed position using long boom crane and carriage of transformer to road side about 500 meters from the lift irrigation station. Shifting of transformer to workshop for repairs. Completely dismantling the transformer after removing the top cover of transformer and extracting out the damaged LV and HV coils from the oil tank. Complete rewinding of HV coils and reconditioning of LV coils using superior quality insulating material. Providing and fitting of 4 no’s LV bushes, 3 no’s HV bushes, LV bush rod 4 no’s, HV bush rod 3 no’s, gasket set and nuts and bolts. Heating of assembled coils in oven for proper hot air process and to get required meager value. Repair to oil tank by welding to make the oil tank leak proof and air tight. Lowering the assembled coils in oil tank. Filtering of existing transformer oil and topping up with 100 liters of fresh transformer oil. Complete job includes cost of material, labour charges, cost of oil, welding charges. Complete painting of electro-mechanical components i.e pump- motor sets of Unit No 1,2 & 3, pipes inside pumping station, suction pipes, valves etc of LIS Bobiya by way of rubbing and scraping of the surfaces of the components with the sand paper. Application of two coats of paint to the pump - motor sets, valves, pipes and suction pipes.
