12000 HOURLY ROUTINE ON BOTH DAs FOR ICGS C-150

E-12 : 12000 hrly routine on both DA carried out. Following job to be undertaken during 12000 hrly routines:- (a) Inspect/adjust engine valve lash. (b) Inspect and clean heat exchanger carry out pressure testing. (c) Inspect after cooler core. (d) Replace cooling system water temperature regulator. (e) Inspect generator set vibration. (f) Inspect starting motor and dynamo. (g) Inspect and clean turbocharger. (h) Inspect water pumps (coolant and sea water pump). (j) Check engine safety device, the following safety trips/alarm sensors to be checked and calibrated:- (i) Low lub oil pressure. (ii) High water temperature. (iii) Over speed trip (k) Cooling system coolant extender (ELC) to be added (l) Renew lub oil/fuel oil system hoses. (m) Replace crank case breather. (n) Overhaul/service exchange sea water pump. (p) Overhaul or Exchange:- Cylinder head assembly, oil pump and fuel oil transfer pump (q) Inspect and/or replace:- Crank shaft bearing, crankshaft seal, thrust bearing, main bearing and CR bearing. (r) Chemical clean and pressure test:- Oil cooler, heat exchanger core and charge air cooler. (s) Renew sea water pump.
