Reinforced Cement Concrete of grade M-30, M 20 in foundation, plinth for all type of Structural/ RCC elements conforming to IS456-2000 , IS 3370 (latest) and IS 13290-2002 using 20mm. maximum size down graded stone aggregate including machine mixing, conveying, placing in position, mechanical consolidation,finishing, curing etc. complete as per specifications and drawings for the following etc. complete as directed by Engineer -in-Charge. Notes for reinforced cement concrete) Cement for structural works shall be OPC/PPC ISI marked and duly approved by the Engineer-in-charge) PPC/blended cement of ISI marked shall only be used for finishing works on prior approval of Engineer-in-charge. c) All RCC work shall be controlled concrete unless otherwise specified and shall be carried out strictly in accordance with the drawings and specifi-cations.d)The rates for RCC works shall be exclusive of cost of reinforcement and form work unless otherwise mentioned.e) All coarse aggregate to be of 20mm maximum size & uniformly graded unless otherwise mentioned. f) For all RCC , items the rates quoted shall include the following without any extra cost to the Department. i) Fixing at correct level and in proper alignment the inserts, pipe sleeves, pipe bends, hooks, puddle flange,other pipe specials and embeded parts etc. supplied by/through the dept. ii) Cut outs, nitshes, pockets, construction joints etc. h)Test for Concrete shall be done as per IS 456-2000 and the cost of the same shall be borne by the contractor.

Reinforcement for RCC work including supplying, delivering, storing of various diameters as required at site of work including loading, unloading, transporting, decoiling, straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position at all locations & levels and binding with 18 gauge, soft drawn annealed steel binding wire including carrying out various tests as required etc. all as per specifications,drawings & as directed by the Engineer in charge. Note:i)The cost of binding wire shall be borne by the contractor and binding wire shall not bemeasured for payment. ii) Fusion Bonded Epoxy Coating shall be carried out as per IS 13620:1993 latest edition .iii) The contractor shall obtain prior written approval in advance from the Engineer in Charge for the factory for Fusion Bonded Epoxy Coating of reinforcement steel.

Fusion Bonded Epoxy Coated Thermo Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D manufactured by SAIL, TATA STEEL, and RINL only .

Providing, erecting, fixing in position striking /removing and cleaning steel / timber shutt-ering & centering for form work in founda-tion, plinth or tie beams,lift pits,cable trenches, electrical pits etc. at all locations for all geometrical shapes in plain,curved surfaces of structural/RCCelements including chamfers, splays, keys,wedges, props, rails, bracings, brackets,cutting holes for pipes etc., providing & applying approved form oil on all surfaces of form work coming in contact with concrete including close hacking of all exposed concrete work after removal of form work, all materials, labour etc. complete as per specifications drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. a) Area of form work in contact with concrete shall only be measured for payment & stop boards for construction joints etc. will not be measured for payment.b) The rate for form work shall include all type of structural/ RCC elements and all geometrical shapes including circular and any other curved surfaces..c) For double/ multi stage shuttering design calculations and details / drawings for scaffolding shall be submitted by the contractor well in advance. Prior written approval of form work shall be obtained from Engineer in Charge, before commencement of work.

For circular and geometrical shapes.

Brick masonry work in substructure using well burnt bricks from approved lot of class designation 3.5 (classification as per IS 1077-1992 and min.average compression strength not less than 3.50N/mm2 ) in C.M 1: 4 to correct line, level and plumb including raking out joints/simultaneous flush pointing with cement mortar 1:4, curing etc.complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by Engineer in Charge. Notes for masonry works:-a)The contractor shall get approved the samples of bricks from the Engineer-In- Charge before procurement on large scale and shall maintain the same for the entire work. b) Necessary openings/ niches/ cut-outs, wherever required as per drawings and asked for by the Engineer-In-Charge, shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost. c) One brick wall thickness shall be considered as 230mm and lesser wall thickness if any shall be made up to the required dimensions by the contractor in CM 1:4 to proper line, level and plumb without any extra cost to the Department.

Cement plaster in single coat with cement mortar at all floors, heights, slopes and locations on plain or curved surfaces including rounding wherever required including to prepare the surface even and smooth to correct line,level, plane and plumb including scaffolding,curing etc. complete as per specifications,drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge Notes: a) Before commencement of plastering, the area shall be cleaned, wetted and shall be marked with 'Thiyyas' or 'Tapanis' and shall be got approved by the Engineer-in-charge. b) Whenever the electrical contractor/ agency has to fix up switch boxes in walls, necessary Thiyyas or 'Dhadas' shall be arranged prior to plastering so that the electrical boxes are fixed properly in line with the finished plastered surfaces. c) Finishing around the junction boxes shall be done at all floor, level and position to the line,level and right angles as required while carrying out plastering work. d) No extra claim/cement consumption shall be entertained by the department for the plastering done more than the specified thickness shown in the schedule of quantities, to bring the plastered surface to perfect line, level and plumb with adjoining columns and beams.

12 mm. thick plaster in CM (1:4) for ceiling,exposed concrete surfaces, soffits of all slabs,coffered slab beams of all size & shapes on plain/curved surfaces including rounding wherever required, soffit of stair case waist slab etc.

15mm thick plaster in cement mortar 1:4 mix for internal brick/concrete surfaces for all walls and beams flush with walls, mullions etc.

Sand faced external / internal cement plaster as specified below in cement mortar 1:4 at all heights and locations including adding water proofing compound 2% by weight of cement, scaffolding, preparing the surfaces, finishing and rendering with sponge to correct line, level and plumb,curing including making grooves, vatas, plasterfluting (plaster in steps) etc. wherever required, allcomplete as per specifications and drawings.

a) 20 mm. thick in two coats for brick/concrete surfaces (back coat and finishing coat of 10 mm.thick each) to parapet and coping etc.

Cement concrete in grade 1:2:4 IPS 40mm. thick flooring at all floors and locations using graded stone aggregate 12mm. maximum size laid to line, level or slope in alternate bags including machine mixing of concrete placing in position,form work,consolidation finishing smooth or chequered as instructed,curing including providing aluminium dividing strips of size 30x3mm for panels of about 2 sq.m size etc. complete as per per specifications & drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing & laying mirror polished machine cut and machine polished (pre polished) kotah stone for flooring/ treads/ risers / steps etc as mentioned below, laid over cement mortar bedding/ backing, close jointed and pointed with matching cement slurry and finished to line, level plumb etc. as required, including curing, cutting of stone slab, making cut outs,wherever required, wastage etc. to get true square edges and final hand polishing all as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the Engineer in Charge. a) For treads 25mm uniform thick in single piece of 1200 mm length (approx.) laid over 20mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4sand) bedding, including providing factory cut three Nos. of antiskid 5mm deep "V" shaped grooves including moulding of the edges etc.complete .b) For risers 20mm thick in single piece of 1200mm (approx.) length laid over 12mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 sand) backing. iii) On top of RCC staircase railing including rounding to semi circle to the exposed edges,mirror polishing (pre-ploished at factory), making suitable grooves between plaster surface and kotah including providing suitable brass pins at required length etc. all complete including laying over 12 mm thick cement mortar 1:3 ( 1 cement : 3 sand) backing. Note :- i)The tread and risers are to be polished at factory.The exact size are to be laid without any further cutting and polishing. ii) The grooves are to be cut at factory to maintain the gap uniform. Non uniform groove size and irregular gaps between grooves shall not be accepted and rejected forthwith. iii) The contractor is to take appropriate step to protect the polishing surface of the tread and riser by providing and laying 6mm thick POP during construction period.The surfaces are to be cleaned only at the time of handing over.

Cement plastering 15mm (for Valve Chambers etc.) thick using factory manufactured pre mix/ready mix mortar in CM 1:4 of 'Roof it Mix'of M/s Premier Floor to Roof Materials pvt.ltd/ 'Easy plast' of M/s Walplast Products pvt.ltd/ 'Readiplast' of M/s Ultratech Cement Ltd or other approved equivalent make, having minimum composition of C:S :: 1:4 using fully treated dry, well graded natural sand conforming to IS 383 suitable for external plastering, having low rebound properties, low water demand for curing properties, mechnical mixing with water in a metalic tray only to make good consistency as per the specification of the Manufacturer and applied on internal/external surfaces and ceiling finished smooth with neat cement punning over brick walls or concrete surfaces at all floors and levels, including curing , removing existing damaged/ worn out plastering and disposing off debris out side colony etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing Structural steel work for covers, supporting structures, Grids, railing etc. at all levels consisting of angles, flats, Channels, all ISI marked etc. including supplying, cutting, fabricating, welding, erecting and fixing in position, including providing locking arrangement, fixing arrangement such as MS hinges, painting with a one coat of approved steel anti corrosive primer over and above painting with two coats of approved synthetic enamel paint etc complete as per specifications , drawing and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Construction of brick masonary chambers for valves of following sizes & upto following depth comprising of 230 mm. thick brick masonary in Cement mortar 1:6 over 150mm thick cement concrete 1:3:6 foundation offset 150 mm. on four sides racking out joints & plastering in CM 1:4, 20 mm. thick both on internal & external surfaces finished smooth with a floating coat of neat cement along with supply and fixing of MS Chequered Plate Cover, MS angle frame with suitable strctural design, Handle for lifting of cover etc. all as per specifications & directions of the Engineer-in-charge including dewatering till completion of work.

Distempering with Synthetic Oil Bound Washable Distemper

Painting emulsion paint of Apex Painting external surfaces with two coats of exterior grade Acrylic emulsion paint of Apex ultima of M/s. Asian paints or approved equivalent manufacture of approved colour and shade over a coat of cement based water repellent paint of approved make and shade as mentioned below all as per manufacturer's recommendations and as per the approved sample including providing necessary scaffolding, cleaning the surface with water to remove all coating, dust, filling up cracks & crevices with approved putty, curing the surface etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by EIC.Over sand faced plaster.

Supplying & fixing following Stainless Steel grade 304 for Pipes between Digesters/ Chambers etc., Spool Pieces cover of sludge bed chambers with angle sections, plates, channels etc, as per requirement including cutting to wastage etc. Complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing & fixing in position GI chicken wire mesh (Hexagonal shape) of 12mm size hole, 22 Gauge of M/s.Arpitha Exports or at par quality with necessary Unhooks, clips or nails at all floors and levels, wherever required as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer in Charge. (Only area of chicken mesh provided shall bemeasured for payment).

Providing and laying patent box type cementbased water proofing treatment of approved agency for basement raft and vertical wall at all levels & locations as per specification of the water proofing agency including cleaning of surfaces,curing and testing the basement raft for water tightness, rectification of defects if any, etc.complete as per specification and drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge as per the following. Notes for water proofing works: a) The contractor shall get written approval from the Engineer-in-charge, for the water proofing agency is engaged and shall submit the specification of the water proofing agency before commencement of work. b) The contractor shall test the surface where water proofing treatment provided for bone dry condition by filling up with water. No wet patches or leaks shall appear on the surrounding wall or under side of the slab. c) The contractor shall furnish guarantee bond on appropriate stamp paper in the proforma as per Section 10 (iii) of Condition & Clauses of Contract 2008 for the entire waterproofing treatment for maintaining the surroundings and under side surfaces of the waterproofing treated area in bonedry condition for 10 years. During the guarantee period the contractor shall attend all leakages,defects etc. if noticed, free of cost, starting the work of checking up and rectification within aweek's time from the date of intimation about such eakages/ defects. d) The Contractor shall keep the water tank filled with water after the water proofing work has been completed and shall clean it before handing over. At no time shall the water tank be kept empty.Testing for the bone dry condition for the waterproofing work carried out shall again be done,before handing over the flats, if found necessary by the Engineer- in-charge. Providing cement based waterproofing treatment to the inside surface of water tank by giving injections to concrete bottom slab and walls as required with cement and approved waterproofing compound solution to fill up all inherent holes, voids, honeycombs etc. in concrete and treating the floor and walls with water proof mortar as per specifications of specialised waterproofing agencies, finishing with neat cement smooth with trowel in cement colour and testing of water tank by filling up with water as perspecifications etc. The thickness of treatment on the floor will be 50 mm and on the walls about 20mm all complete as per drawing, (Cement mortar 1:4 with waterproofing chemical @2% of cement) specificationand as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Providing copolymer polypropylene steel reinforced plastic Foot-rests / Steps of Patelbrand or equivalent. as per ASTM D - 4101 specification and moulded a 16 mm dia. IS - 1786 grade Fe - 500 steel reinforcing bar and in "U"shape having dimensions 263 x 168 mm and fixing in concrete / wall as shown in the drawing and as directed all complete.

Supplying and fixing in position at all floors integrated bronze anodised matt finished [15 micron thick], aluminium section [extruded]for aluminium door / windows - sliding tophung/ fixed/ adjustable louvers / wall spans etc. as per drawing of approved manufactures with extruded sections of Jindal / Hindalco sections with size and weights as shown in the drawing, for frame sand shutters [including wastages if any] conforming to relevant I.S specifications with all approved bronze anodised aluminium fittings and accessories, locking arrangements, 2 / 3 rollers with ball bearings for sliding shutters of approved quality all as shown in the drawing, including providing and fixing aluminium channel beading /glazing clips fixed with necessary bronze anodised screws, grouting the gap with thermocole & silicon sealant etc. all complete generally as per drawings,specifications etc., all as directed by Engineer in Charge, but excluding the cost of glazing, which will be paid separately. Providing & fixing in position double leaves galvanised pressed steel box type door shutter at all floor and location of sizes as mentioned below consisting of 40x40x4mm GI heavy duty square pipes for shutter frame with two middle stiffeners, welded with 16 gauze GI sheets,both side of square pipes , sheet and square pipes shall be galvanising coating (Class -VIII of zinc coating ), 120 gm / sqm asper IS 2629 latest , ms sheet manufactured by M/s Sail / Lloyds / Jindal fixing the frame to floor/ceiling, vertical members fixed to wall with threaded sleeves of standard quality at 600mm centre to centre including providing 16 Gauge G.I sheet, 80mm wide to vertical stiffner at centre to the full height for each shutter bent to proper shape and providing 18G. G.I sheet louvers at bottom with G.I wire mesh as per drawing including providing necessary locking arrangement, handles, aldrops, 3 nos. detachable type hinges for each shutter (withbolt & nut arrangement) including cost of all materials, labour, drilling cutting, fabricating,welding fixing fasteners bolts, nuts, washers etc.including wastages, chasing the brick / RCC surfaces if required and making good the same to match with surrounding finishing, grouting the fasteners sleeves/ hold fast in CC 1:2:4 to fix the frame over brick wall etc. and painting all the exposed surfaces of frame and shutter with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved make and colour over a coat of approved yellow zinc chromate primer over a coat of "etch"primer for all surfaces all as per specification, drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge. a) Steel door type SD1 of size 1500x2750,with two equal leaves shutters and louvers at bottom of each shutters as per drawing. Notes :- a)Manufacturer shall submit 6 copies of shop drawing showing the dimensions details of fabrication etc. for the approval of Engineer in charge. b) All the shutters and door frame should be detachable from the assembly whenerverrequired and the entire door unit will be flush with the finished wallc) Quated rate shall inclusive of all necessary fittings and fixtures as shown in drawings as per manufacturer's requirement.d) The door frame (pressed steel door frame) shall be paid in relevant items f) Quated rate shall be applicable for all type of shutter including addition / alteration if any. g) The cost towards cutting/ chasing brick/concrete surfaces etc.and making good thesame while fixing shall be included in quotedrate.

Providing and fixing following type of approved quality glass panes for doors/windows/ ventilators/ wall spans of M/s.Modiguard / M/s. Saint Gobain / M/s.Gloverbel and fixing with aluminium frame work including fixing aluminium channel beading and adjustable louvers frame (to be paid under relevant item) and providing and fixing with 2 way EDPM gasketting ,to ensure water and air tightness and neoprene cushions/gasket accommodated in grooves,necessary bronze anodized screws etc., all complete generally as per drawings specifications and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

18mm thick jet black granite stone door frame If it is in two pieces and one full piece is to be used then the second piece 100 % area adhesive to be applied and wooden gutties 6 no/frame to be placed at hinge locations in brick work for fixing hinges for toilet including providing and fixing 75mm long stainless steel screws 3 nos. in each vertical stone with rawl plug by drilling with high frequency power drilling machine as approved by Engineer in charge and finished with approved putty with suitable pigment etc. complete

Biogas Plant piping, valves and associated works Entire Plant piping, required valves and associated works shall be considered in the scope of works for all the items under this SOQ unless specified otherwise.
