Assistance for day-to-day sanitation/ hygiene/ cleanliness of Area Hospital (including buildings, sheds, open areas, etc.) at Pathakhera Township. The work includes: (A) Daily sweeping & mopping of floors, cleaning of dado with wet cloth, removing spider webs from walls and ceilings, cleaning of doors & windows with wet cloth, cleaning & dusting of wire mesh, etc.; (B) Daily sweeping & brooming at the locations open to sky; (C) Daily cleaning of WC pans, urinals, wash basins/ sinks; (D) Cleaning of roofs by sweeping & brooming, as & when required; (E) Clearing grass, weeds, & minor shrubs (except gardening/ lawn maintenance), as & when required; (F) Cleaning of drains, choked inspection chambers, & choked sanitary pipelines, as & when required; (G) Daily collection of garbage (except bio-medical waste) at designated points; (H) Loading garbage (except bio-medical waste) for disposal as per item no. 2; and (I) Other allied jobs related to sanitation/ hygiene/ cleanliness. Note: (i) All the above jobs are to be carried out by the contractor as per instructions of the Area Medical Officer or Engineer-in-charge of the work or representative(s) of any of the two. (ii) The contractor is required to deploy 4 male & 4 female safai mazdoors daily for this job (total 8 per day), in 3 shifts. Shift-wise break-up shall be as per the instructions of the Area Medical Officer. (iii) For measurement of this item, attendance certified by the Area Medical Officer or representative to be produced before the Engineer-in-charge. (iv) All the workers shall be in proper uniforms, including masks & gloves (details, quantities, & costs covered separately in item no. 3). Each worker shall carry an ID card of some government authority (adhaar card, voter's card, driver's licence, PAN card, etc.) (v) The contractor shall provide gum-boots, torch, umbrella/ raincoat, etc. to the workers, depending upon the weather conditions and shift timings (cost to be covered in the rate of this item). Tools/ equipment required for the jobs described above at (E), (F), (G), & (H) shall also be provided by the contractor (cost to be covered in the rate of this item). Water shall be made available by WCL, without any cost to be charged from the contractor. Other tools/ equipment and consumables shall be supplied by the contractor (details, quantities, & costs covered separately in item no. 3).
Carriage (using mechanical means) & disposal of garbage at approved site outside the township. Garbage disposal to be done as & when required or as & when instructed by the Area Medical Officer or the Engineer-in-charge or representative(s) of any of the two. Garbage disposal to be done at the site approved by the engineer-in-charge. Garbage measured in stacks shall be reduced by 20% towards voids for payment.
Supplying the following materials of quality & brand as approved by the Engineer-in-charge, and putting them at designated palces in Area Hospital as per instructions of the Area Medical Officer. One-fourth of the quantities of each item to be supplied at the beginning of each quarter (3-month period) of the work.
Uniform for the workers engaged by the contractor: Full-sleeve shirts & trousers for males; and/or Sari & allied clothing or salwar-kurta for females. Fabric - Good quality cotton; Colour - As per instructions of Area Medical Officer. Additionally, one face mask for COVID-19 protection, as approved by Area Medical Officer or representative, also to be provided in each set of uniform.
