PROVISION OF CONDUITS FOR MAFI AFLS AT AF STATION PURNEA

Material & labour for kerf cutting not exceeding 150mm deep and 80mm wide on Runway flexible/rigid pavement by cutting two run with 80mm space in between using diamond cutting machine and dismantling the dense asphaltic concrete and PQC material between two cut using mechanical means complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material & labour for kerf cutting not exceeding 150mm deep and 80mm wide on Runway compacted wet mix macadam/GSB by cutting two run with 80mm space in between by manual or mechanical and dismantling the wet mix macadam/GSB material between two cut using mechanical means complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F steel tubing , 25 mm bore, heavy grade, galvanised for MAFI conduit with all fittings like tees, elbows, sockets, bends, couplers etc , laid in trenches at Runway, also including each conduit shall be terminated with suitable elbow at light location, suitable tee at intermediate light location and suitable end cap at both light location & TH box location with anchoring arrangement of 4mm GI wire as per MAFI guideline, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Note: 4mm GI wire measured and paid separately)

M&L Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM) of Grading- II in layers as per MoRTH yellow book with minimum bitumen content of 4.5% using paving bitumen grade VG 30 as per mix design with Marshal Stability 900 Kg, duly consolidated and rolled to achieve minimum 93% of GMM (Maximum theoretical density), including tack coat of paving bitumen VG-10 at surface and vertical edges as per MoRTH specification, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M & L providing plain cement concrete type D2, 1:4:8 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) in surface channels and drains complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L Sand filling in foundations trenches/channels below the conduits/tubes including watering and consolidation as required complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L excavation in trenches not exc 1.50 m wide and n exc 1.50 mtr in depth for laying of under ground pipes, cables etc and getting out in any type of soil (soft/loose or hard/dense) all as specified and complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removing demolished materials obtained from item No. 1 & 2 above to a distance exc. 1.50 km but n exc. 5 km including loading, unloading into vehicle and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for 4 mm dia Galvanised iron or steel wire fixed to wall on batten or recess or chase or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or any other indicated situation for cable pulling including anchoring all ends etc as per MAFI guideline, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for verification of MAFI points i.e. co-ordinates of all conduits and light points with given reference and submit hard copies of completion drawings(3 sets) after completion of the work, duly signed by any agency approved by Air force authority/Representative of Station users, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note: The contractor shall deploy/visit of authorised rep of agency as approved by Air Force authority for MAFI work during execution of the work for verification of co-ordinates of conduits and light points as per drawing given by M/s Tata Power (SED) all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
