Eligibility Criteria

Tenderers should not be associated, or have been associated in the past, directly or indirectly, with a firm or any of its affiliates which have been engaged by the Purchaser to provide consulting services for the preparation of the design, specifications, and other documents to be used for the procurement of the goods to be purchased under this Invitation of Tenders.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Bidder shall be a company, firm, individual proprietorship, non-governmental organization who are registered under law/co-operative societies, who are registered under society act.

The bidder shall furnish the details of the Head Office, ....... including telephone number, e-mail address, fax number and the mobile numbers of the person who is authorized to contact.

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of e-Procurement portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end.

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

The bidders need to register with e-procurement portal and to obtain User ID and Password for participating in e-procurement

The uploaded scanned documents should be signed.

The tenders are liable for rejection if any of the above said requirements are not complied with.

The bidder shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of his/her tender, and the purchaser will in no case be responsible and liable for those costs.

The cost of the tender Processing is not being refundable.

The purchaser is not responsible for any delay in accessing e-procurement portal

The University of Mysore does not bind itself to accept the lowest bidder and the university reserves the right to Accept or Reject any of the tender or all the tenders without assigning any reasons.

The University of Mysore will name at least any 2 or 3 brands, model of items to be supplied. The bidder should abide by this and should be able to supply such brand and model only.

During the Course/tenure of the contract at any point of time, If the tenderer fails to supply any or all the items of indent, within 48 hours of placing indent the Registrar, UOM will make his/her own arrangement and procure the same in the open market at the market Price and the cost will be recovered from the tenderer along with the penalty of 25% of such procurement.

The successful Bidder shall supply to various Departments/Crawford Hall/offices/ Hostels/Auditoriums/other buildings of as per particulars provided in Section-V. No separate amount will be paid for transportation and delivery to the destination and all these shall include in the rate to be quoted along with taxes.

Any kind of manipulation/removal of MRP from the packets/bags of Articles will be viewed as the violation of the Tender Agreement

The employer is not responsible for any delay in accessing Karnataka Procurement Portal.

Bank Guarantee will not be acceptable for EMD. EMD should be paid as specified in the Karnataka Public Procurement Portal schedule.

The Tenderers need to register with e-procurement portal and to obtain user ID and Password for participating in e-procurement.

The authority reserves the Right to Accept or Reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reasons.

The quoted price should be inclusive of all types of taxes (service tax, VAT, sales tax), GST, Customs duty, clearance charges, transportation, erection(commission), excise duty etc., & all incidental charges F.O.R MYSORE-570006, MANASAGANGOTRI-KARNATAKA STATE,INDIA.

Past Experience

The bidder should have executed similar cleaning/safety items supply contract in any of the last three financial years i.e., 2022-23, 2023-24 & 2024-25 to Government organization/ Institutions. Bidder should upload the copies of the certificate issued by the concerned departments
