The system shall be designed in accordance with latest ICAO/BCAS norms, IATA Resolution 753, ECAC Standard 3 for Explosive Detection, DBR, Technical Specifications and shall consist of, but not limited to the following key components:
Check-in & Induction:
i. 3 Nos. Check-in Islands comprises with 24 Nos. Check-in Counters per island (Total: 72 counters), including 8 Self Bag Drop (SBD) in each Island .
ii. Integrated with automated conveyor feed and Bag Tag Reader (BTR)
iii. 10 Nos. Maintenance-Free S-Lifts for vertical transfer of bags between levels
iv. 4 Nos. CT-EDS machines conforming to ECAC Standard 3 for Level 1 and Level 2 automatic baggage screening. Complete Level 1 & 2 screening system with auto-divert and reject capability. Integration with BHS PLC/SCADA for real-time threat management
v. Level 3 Screening: 2 Nos. Dual-view X-Ray BIS Machines with provision for remote operator workstations
vi. Manual Encode Stations with Workstations
vii. Sorter & Distribution: 1 No. High-Speed Tilt Tray Sorter (capacity not less than 5,400 BPH) with SCADA integration. Associated conveyor network with diverters, merges, and accumulation conveyors
viii. Control & Monitoring System: Central SCADA-based control system with redundancy,PLC Panels with IP-rated enclosures, Alarm & Fault Monitoring System, Interfaces with FIDS, AODB, BMS and BRS (Barcode and RFID)
ix. Energy Efficiency: Energy-efficient motors, VFDs, photo sensors,Low-friction and low-noise rollers and belts
Automatic stand-by mode for idle sections.
x. O&M and AICMC Provisions: 15 Years Operation & 13-year Comprehensive Maintenance Contract (AICMC) post completion after DLP.
xi. Training to AAI O&M staff
xii. Provision of spares and consumables as per OEM standards
xiii. All associated structural supports, foundation, cable trays, ducts, earthing, power distribution, lighting for maintenance areas, communication, and data cabling
xiv. Integration with fire alarm/suppression system in coordination with the Airport fire detection system

All Inclusive Comprehensive Maintenance Contract (AICMC) after DLP of two years of complete Departure and Arrival Conveyor system as mentioned under item no.1.0 along with all its Electrical and Mechanical accessories by providing requisite man-power, all required spares, tools, consumables, preventive & corrective maintenance and technical support as specified in SCC, Technical Specification and particular specifications of operation & AICMC with complete in all respect.
All Inclusive Comprehensive Maintenance Contract of Screening sytem i/c CT-EDS, servers, work stations, other associated equipments etc. as mentioned under item no.1.0 after DLP of two years by providing requisite man-power, all required spares, tools, maintenance equipment, consumables, preventive & corrective maintenance and technical support as specified in SCC, Technical Specification and particular specifications of operation & AICMC with complete in all respect.
All Inclusive Comprehensive Maintenance Contract of XBIS, other associated equipments etc. as mentioned under item no. 1.0 by providing requisite man-power, all required spares, tools, maintenance equipment, consumables, software and its updation, preventive & corrective maintenance and technical support as specified in SCC, Technical Specification and particular specifications of operation & AICMC with complete in all respect.
