Design, Manufacture, Supply, Installation and Commissioning of EUROGEAR make Double Link Slimline Ropeless Coupling, specially designed for short shaft-to-shaft distance of 1040 mm, suitable for Mill No. 3 and Mill No. 4 of size 30" x 60", to transmit 1000 kNm torque from 600 KW drive at 4-6 final mill RPM The coupling shall be designed and manufactured with the following shaft interface details: • Mill Side Yoke: Suitable for Top Roller square shaft size 300 mm x 230 mm with across-corners (A/c) dimension of 380 mm • Gear Side Yoke: Suitable for Gearbox output shaft size 300 mm x 230 mm with across-corners (A/c) dimension of 395 mm The proposed ropeless coupling shall be designed to accommodate operating misalignments and ensure reliable power transmission under severe mill operating conditions, while facilitating top roller lifting during operation without disengagement of the drive system.
