REPAIR TO ROOF TREATMENT FOR EAST AND NORTH PART OF KV SCHOOL AT AFS HAKIMPET UNDER GE (AF) HAKIMPET

Demolition of cement concrete in roofs, floors (other than ground floors), etc. (unreinforced) including old tarfelt & cement mortar bedding and plastering etc complete all as specified and as directed and removing debris outside the MD land complete all as specified and as directed. .

Roughening surfaces of old concrete floor by picking sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust etc complete and Brushing neat cement slurry with 3 kg of cement per sqm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge

M&L cement concrete type B-0 1:2:4 using (12.5mm graded agg averaging 40mm thick) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge

M&L for 10mm thick rendering on fair faces of brick work (or) concrete surfaces in CM 1:3 mixing water proofing compound at 3% by weight of cement (but excluding the cost of WPC) finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only liquid water proofing compound.

M&L for cleaning the roof, plastered surfaces and applying evenly a priming coat of industrial bitumen 85/25 at the rate of 1.2 kg per Sqm and providing APP based polymeric modified water proofing membrane minimum weighing 3kg/Sqm and minimum 4mm thick reinforced with polyster non woven fabric (wt. not less than 150 gms/Sqm) laid on primed surface by forced application and applying two coats of solar reflective bituminous aluminium paint @ 0.1 kg/Sqm per each coat complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting existing tanks exceeding 500 & not exceeding 1000 liters, setting aside or lowering and refixing the same complete all as specified and as directed.

Brickwork with fly ash bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius,built in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 15mm thick plastering on fair faces of brick work (or) concrete surfaces in CM 1:4 mixing water proofing compound at 3% by weight of cement (but excluding the cost of WPC) finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

Suppply and filling 25mm thick preformed filler for expansion/crumple joints including making good and removal/ fixing of metal sheet on wall complete all as specified and directed

Providing cast-in-situ reinforced cement concreteType B1 1:2:4 (20mm graded aggregate) in copings,columns, etcincluding use of form work (straight or curved), including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Mild steel TMT bars, cut to length, bent to shape required including crancking , bendding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia., or securing with clips complete all as speified and as directed .

M&L for repairs to RCC columns projected above roof slab ,remove all loose particles of mortar, concrete rust etc from the spilled surface and clean it with wire brush and expose fully any corroded steel in the repair area and remove all scale and corrosion deposit and apply rust remover for rust free bars and apply epoxy zinc primer to the remaining exposed cleaned steel bars including Provide additional steel if required and tie the new steel to the old steel by binding wires, and apply one coat of bonding agent(latex based) over the entire area of steel and concrete to be treated and finally concreting of column with 1:3:6 type C1 concrete to the treated surface including necessary formwork and safety measures complete all as specified and directed by engr in charge.Note: The chemicals which are incorporated inthe work should be Dr.Fixit or equivalent Note: TMT bars shall be measured separately.

M&L for pressure grouting. Treat the leakages by doing pressure grouting , forcing PVC nozzles along the length of cracks in zigzag manner. Inject non shrink cementitious grout through PVC Nozzle in the slab by a grout pressure pump. Allow it top cure as per standard practice. Cementious grout shall have a compressive strength of 50 Mpa at 7 days , 65 Mpa at 28 days confirming to ASTM C 109:99.
