Milling on Bituminous Surface: Dismantling of existing damaged Bitumen surface by cold Milling Machine up to any depth and hauling the milled material up to any lead and stacking at nearest recycling Plant site (HSR 17.43.2)

Excavation for roadwork in soil by manual/ mechanical means including cutting, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections, including breaking of clods and disposal within ROW as per technical clause 301 of MORT&H specifications (HSR 17.74)

Compaction & preparation of sub grade including loosening, levelling of earth 225 mm thick top layer, rough dressing of soil, final dressing of earth to give level, camber, watering, rolling with road roller, compacting the bed to achieve minimum dry density as given in the Table 3000-2 as per technical clause 305 of MORT&H specifications (HSR 17.5.3)

Brick on end in soil/edging in required pattern with bricks of class designation (HSR 10.36)

Providing & laying 150mm Granular Sub-Base with Coarse Graded Material - Grading-I (Table:- 400-2) Construction of granular sub-base by providing coarse graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with Rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401.of MORT&H specifications. Grading I material (Based on HSR 17.15.1) Note: - 1.Only crushed metal material should be used. No local earth sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations manufacturing shall be approved by engineer.

Providing, laying WBM (G-I) (63mm to 45mm with screening Type "A" 75mm each layer), spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with 3 wheeled steel/ vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/ binding Materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density complete as per technical clause 404 of MORT&H specifications (Baed on HSR 17.23.2) Note: - 1.Only crushed metal material should be used. No local earth sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations manufacturing shall be approved by engineer.

Providing and laying WBM (G-II) (53mm to 22.4mm with screening Type "B" 75mm each layer), spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with 3 wheeled steel/ vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/ binding Materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density complete as per technical clause 404 of MORT&H specifications (Based on HSR 17.23.2) Note: - 1.Only crushed metal material should be used. Providing and laying surface dressing as wearing course in single coat using crushed stone aggregates of specified size on a layer of bituminous binder VG - 10 using aggregate 13mm nominal size 1.00 cum and bitumen 0.10 MT per 100 Sqm & laid on prepared surface and rolling with 8-10 tonne smooth wheeled steel roller complete as per technical clause 509 of MORT&H specifications: 19 mm nominal chipping size, with bitumen (Based on HSR 17.32.3)

Providing and applying tack coat with penetration grade bitumen VG - 10 using bitumen pressure distributor at the rate of 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous / granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom as per technical clause 503 of MORT&H specifications (Based on HSR 17.26.2)

Providing and laying 30mm mm bituminous concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder VG - 30 @ 5.4% per cent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction complete as per technical clause 507 of per MORTH specifications (HSR 17.31.4) Note: If bitumen required is this account more than 5.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work.

Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including Reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35 .The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes. (HSR 34.26) Note: - Before start of work the contractor shall give brand, batch no., manufacturing date of the material to be used and get approved thbe same from Engineer-in-Charge before use.

Reinforced cement concrete M25 grade kilometre stone for village road of standard design as per IRC:8-1980, fixing in position including painting and printing etc complete as per technical clause 804 of MORTH Specifications (HSR 34.27.3)

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m - All kinds of soil (HSR 4.14.1)

Demolishing dry brick on end edging pitching in floors, drains etc. including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within any lead (HSR 17.75)

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - CC 1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand (zone-III) : 8 graded cum stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) (HSR 6.1.6)

Recovery items:- The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Material obtained from dismantling of existing brick work, bituminous layer and granular layers have been calculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The dismantled material can used in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) after approval from employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material. This material can be taken away by the agency at the price quoted by the agency but minimum price to be quoted is limited to reserve price as fixed and mentioned as under :-i). Old Bituminious material @ Rs.1365/- P.Cum

ii). Old bricks @ Rs.5/- Nos.

iii). Brick bats @ Rs.500/- P.Cum Note: All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this road. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual dismantling and if material after dismantling is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price. In case of any difference in the Unit and nomenclature of any item depicted in the DNIT and that given in HSR the unit and nomenclautre given in HSR and approved by the competent authority on the basis of HSR shall be applicable.
