The railway reserves the right to order entire or bulk quantity of tendered item from RDSO approved sources (as per RDSO Vendor I D: 3100606) or their authorized dealer as per RDSO letter no. QAC/Vendor/Policy dt. 17.09.21. Authorized agents/dealers of RDSO approved sources must attach valid tender specific authorization certificate along with their offer, failing which their offer(s) will be summarily rejected without any back reference. The status of the firm shall be reckoned on the date of tender opening and not thereafter, unless it is a case of downgrading/ removal/suspension/ banning.

EMD (Earnest Money Deposit): EMD will be applicable as per clause No. 8.0 (Section-1) of instruction to Tenderers for e-Tender and General Tender conditions for Tenders except Global Tender, Revision-1 (GTC) of Eastern Railway available in the IREPS. All the vendors, exempted from submitting the EMD, shall be required to sign a bid security declaration as per Annexure-3.7 and/or sign the BID security declaration at the time of bidding, failing which their offers will be summarily rejected.

SD (Security Deposit): This will be applicable as per clause No. 9.0 (Section- 1) of Instruction to Tenderers for e-Tender and General Tender conditions for Tenders except Global Tender, Revision-1 (GTC) of Eastern Railway available in the IREPS.

Please enter the percentage of local content in the material being offered. Please enter 0 for fully imported items, and 100 for fully indigenous items. The definition and calculation of local content shall be in accordance with the Make in India policy as incorporated in the tender conditions.

Inspection by RITES agency before supply. Other terms as per ER GTC clause no- 7.0.

Marking of supply: Manufacturer/supplier trade mark along with year and month of manufacturing to be embossed/marked on the product/boxes/cartons as stipulated in specification/drawing.

Free delivery up to destination including loading/unloading.

Warranty period : as per IRS condition

Packing instruction: The material shall be delivered properly wound on wooden drum and supply to be made in lenghts(continuous) of 3000M /drum except in last drum in which remaining quantity will be supplied.

MSE sources, for availing benefits under MSME Act, should upload valid documents maintained under MSME Act such as UDYAM registration Certificate etc. for tendered item in the certificate issued by nodal agencies as per public procurement policy, failing which firms status will be treated as Non-MSE firm, Otherwise, claim for benefits under MSME Act will not be entertained.

MSE source owned by SC/ST, should upload necessary documents to get the benefits being owned by SC/ST. Otherwise, claim for benefits under MSME Act may not be entertained.
