REPAIR / MAINT TO INTERNAL ROAD OF ILP-II AND ADJACENT AREA IN AOR OF AGE B/R-I UNDER GE PANAGARH

Amount

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 sqm, depth exc 50 mm and n.exc 100mm deep, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Scarifying include racking over and grading the broken up surface to the proper camber etc. as required.

M&L for 7.5cm thick (compcted thickness) WBM with crushed stone aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) or grading 3 (50 to 20 mm size) granite, trap or basalt spread, rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and consolidated to required gradient and camber, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for 10cm thick (compcted thickness) WBM with coarse aggregates of grading 1 (90 to 40 mm size) granite, trap or basalt spread, rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and consolidated to required gradient and camber, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparing unsurfaced WBM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked, mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and including Applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bituminous primer VG-30 at 10 Kg/10 Sqm, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Premixed Bituminous Macadam with 4% binder content by weight of total mix laid, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less), complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing Black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked, mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and including Applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bituminous primer VG-30 at 5Kg/10 Sqm, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge., complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for bituminous premix semi-dense asphaltic concrete 40 mm (average) consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, (paving bitumen) rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller etc., complete all as specified and and as directed. Note : Work will be carried out by using mechanical paver and rolled with power road roller.

Material & Labour for Moorum/red bajri filling 100mm thick as in road sub-bases laid in layers n exc. 15cm thick, spread, levelled watered and rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power roller, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Repair to pot holes any depth, using paving bitumen not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat at 5 kg/10 sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg/10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chipping, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (incl supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of pot holes exc 30mm, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 120mm x 110mm x 50mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972 Make of Dark Eye fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction ,complete all as specified and as directed.
