Supply and fixing of heater bank assembly of capacity 18 KW (each in series of 2 KW x 3 x 3) including mounting arrangment in return air and control wiring with suitable size glass wool copper wire into steel conduit up to electric panel properly secured to on/off of each heater bank as required at site complete all as specified and directed by OEM/ EIC.
Notes :- (i) Contractor / bidder needs to check the desired inside conditions carefully and submitt the bid only after ascertaining the capacity of the AC plant required to achieve the inside condition. Design data attached as per Appendix 'A'. (ii) Contractor / bidder should submitt complete design for the package AC plant comprising of heat load calculations, working drawings of complete AC plant, supported with design / calculations of each components duly vetted by IIT / NITwithin one months of the date of commencment of work through GE for the approval of Accepting Officer before execution of work. (iii) Contractor / bidder will be responsible for performance guarantee of complete plant to achieve the inside conditions for 12 Hrs operations through out the year i.e, during Phase-II test (Summer, winter and mansoon test) with overall COP as per latest Indian standards. (iv) Design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of package AC plant shall be undertaken through manufacturer/specialist firms. (v) Rates quoted by the contractor shall be complete finsihed work including cost of labour, material, scaffolding, finishing as required with tools, plants, cartage, lift, taxes, tollage, octroi, royalties etc. All works shall be executed as per drawings and instructions of site-in-charge and shall include the supply and installations at site of all the equipments, ancillary materials as specified and all such items what so-ever which may be required to fulfill the intent and purpose laid down in the drawings. All materials shall be as per ISI specification and with IS certification marked wherever applicable. The material shall be duly approved by site-in-charge before incorporation in the actual work.
(vi) Any left out material required for functioning of AC plant or directed by OEM/ Engr-in-charge shall be provided by the contractor / bidder free of cost to achieve design condition and overall performance of AC plant. (vii) The completion of the work shall be issued in phased manner. Provisional completion of the work shall be issued after physical execution of the work at site and succesfully testing of Phase-I test. (viii) The Phase -I completion of the work shall be issued after 12 hours Phase-I Test in presence of Engr-in-charge , GE and users Representative. (ix) The Phase -II ( summer / mansoon / winter ) Tests shall be carried out by The Rep of Accepting Officer, Engr-in-charge and User rep as per rules in vogue. (x) The Plant shall be operated by the contractor two shift i.e (0600 to 1400 and 1400 hrs to 2200 hrs excluding sunday/holdidays or as per users requirement and as directed by GE/ Engg-in-charge ) after phase-I test and till the completion of all phase-II tests ). Rates are inclusive in the installation cost of complete plant. (xi) The Defect liability period of the contract shall be start after the completion of phase-I tests of plant)
Design , Supply, installation, commissioning and testing of AHRI (Air conditining, Heating and Referigeration Institute) certified outdoor type Engery efficient 2 star rated Air cooled chiller unit capacity not less than 10 TR, comprising of twin Hermetic compressor, suitable for 415+ 10% Volts, 50 Hz, 3 phase power supply, microprocessor based control panel, suitable for R-410A Refrigerant, shell and tube insulated evaporator, insulated evaporator tank, chilled water piping system as per manufacturer guidelines from chiller to pump and evaporator make up water tank, connecting control cable from soft start panel to chiller syste, sensor, transducer, flow meter, thermoeter for chilled water in/out, supply/return chilled water valve, drain valve, purging valve, strainer, HP/LP cutout, complete all necessary protection devices as recommended by manfuacturer for functioning of chiller unit and suitable foundation as per manufacture recommendation for placing of chiller unit complete all as specified and directed to achieve the following design conditions :- (a) Chiller Nominal capacity : Not less than 10 TR (b) Chilled water engtering temperature : 54 deg F (c) Chilled water Leaving temperature : 44 deg F (e) Evaporator Fouling Factor : 0.0000180 M2. KW (f) Chilled water flow rate : 1.440 LPS (g) Refrigerant : R-410A (h) Minimum COP at AHRI @ 100% Load : Not less than 2.92
Notes (i) The rate shall be inclusive of Designing of Chiller plant. Contrtactor shall submit the detailed Design & complete working drawing of AC plant including heat load calculation, plant layout, electrical panel details dully vetted by IIT / NIT (Relevant department). Certificate of sound design shall be on official letter pad of IIT / NIT. Complete set of design of drawing shall be submitted for approval of Accepting Officer within 01 Months from date of commencement of work as per Work order No. 1 (ii) The completion of the work shall be issued in phased manner. Provisional completion of the work shall be issued After physical execution of the work at site complete in all respect phase I test as specified. A final completion of work will be issued after Phase-II test (Summer, mansoon and winter test). (iii) The Phase -II ( summer / mansoon / winter ) Tests shall be carried out in presence of Sr IEM HQ CE (AF) Prayagraj Zone / Rep of Accepting Officer. (vii) The Defect liability period of the contract shall be start as per condition 46 of IAFW 2249 General condition of contract (24 Months after the provisional completion of work under phase-I)
