Providing, laying, spreading and compacting granular sub base 200 mm thick material compacted of natural sand, morrum, gravel crushed stone or combination thereof as per MORT&H specification confirming to clause 401 coarse graded grading – III as per table 400.1 of MORT&H specification, including spreading on the prepared sub grade with the help of tractor with planner of adequate capacity maintaining the requited slope and grade during operation, rolling with road roller 8-10 tone with the grade and cross fall (camber) to be checked and any high spot or depressing which becomes apparent, corrected by removing or adding fresh material, including cost of tools and plants, carriage of material from stacks, templates, barrier, lighting arrangement at night, chowkidar and maintenance of diversion etc. complete in all respect as per MORT&H specifications, density of GSB as laid 2 gms/cc complete in all respect and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in charge. Construction of compacted Wet Mix Macadam 200mm thick to confirming to clause 406 of MORT&H (Ministry of road transport and highway)specification (4th edition) having as laid, density of 2.2gm/c.c (Two point Two gram per cubic centimeter) by providing laying, spreading and compacting clean, crushed aggregate and granular material(taking 3.3 cum material for 10 sqm (Ten square metre) area conforming to Table 400.10(Physical characteristics) Table 400.11 (grading) of MORT&H (Ministry of road transport and highway)specifications (4th edition). The material shall be premixed with water at OMC in Mixing Plant/Pan type mixer/Pug Mill and mixed material carried to site by tippers and spread uniformly and evenly on the prepared sub base/base by paver finisher of adequate capacity and all high and low spots remedied by removing or adding aggregate, as required and rolled with 8-10 (Eight to ten tones) tones roller to achieved/desired density. It shall included the cost of tools and plants, carriage of material from stacks, templates, barriers, safety temporary warning lamps at night, chowkidar, maintenance of diversion etc. Complete in all respects as per MORT&H (Ministry of road transport and highway) specification and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (Rapid Setting, packed) on prepared surface including cleaning of road surface and spraying bitumen at the rate of minimum 6 Kg./10sqm with bitumen pressure sprayer complete in all respects as per clause 502 of MORT&H specification ( 4th edition) complete in all respect in all respects and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. Providing and laying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 @ 3.0 kg/10 sqm using sprayer pump on prepared surface heating bitumen in boiler and spraying bitumen with spray set fitted on bitumen boiler including cleaning of road surface with complete in all respect as per MORT&H specification and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. Providing and laying 50 mm thick Dense Graded Bituminous Macadam with mechanical paver after mixing aggregates and bitumen as per design mix in Hot Mix Plant using @ 4.5% (by wt of total mix) bitumen VG -30 of total mix with aggregate conforming to relevant specification laid in MORT&H specification clause 505 with grading conforming to Table 500-10 grading II of MORT&H specifications (5th revision) and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers as per clause 501.6 and 501.7 to achieve the desire density of dense graded bitumen macadam as laid 2.3 gm/cc & to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. Providing and laying Tack Coat with bitumen VG-10 using sprayer @ 2.5kg/10 sqm on prepared bituminous surface, heating bitumen in boiler and spraying the bitumen with spray set fitted on bitumen boiler cleaned with complete in all respect as per MORT&H specification to the entire satisfaction of engineer in charge. Providing and laying 30 mm thick bituminous concrete as per clause 507 of MORT&H specification with mechanical paver after mixing aggregate and bitumen as per design mix in Hot mix plant using minimum 5.4% bitumen of grade VG- 30 and using both coarse and fine aggregate filler stone dust @2% by weight of aggregate confirming to relevant specification laid in MORT&H specification clause 507.2.2 and 507.2.3 with grading confirming to table 500.17 gradation –II of MORT&H specification and density of bituminous concrete as laid 2.35 gm/cc complete in all respect as per MORT&H specification and to entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. Providing and applying of hot thermoplastic compound 2.5mm thick for edge lines, centre lines, stop lines, zebra crossings, letters, numerals, diagonals and chembrons etc. including reflectorising glass beads @250gms. Per Sqm. Area, thickness of 2.5mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35. The finished surface to level, uniform and free from streks and holes. The thermoplastic compound shall be screeded/extruded on the surface in moltan state by suitable machine capable of controlled preparation and laying of surface application of glass beads at a specific rate. The marking should be capable of resisting deformation by traffic, it should not be slippery when wet and marking shall not deteriorate by contact with sodium chloride, Calcium chloride or oil dropping from traffic. The material shall be free from all skin, dirt and foreign objects and shall comply as per table 800-9 and 800-10 complete in all respect as per Clause 803.4.1 of MORT&H specification (5th revision) and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. Providing and fixing factory manufactured precast concrete kerb of size 300mm x 300mm having 100mm thickness duly vibrated, mechanically and compacted made of P.C.C 1:2:4 duly cured and finished. The rate further include filling of joints between kerb with cement mortar 1:2 complete in all respect and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in charge. (NS)
