CIVIL COMPONENT

SH: R.C.C WORK

Reinforced cement concrete work in beams, suspended floors, roofs having slope up to 15° landings, balconies, shelves, chajjas, lintels, bands, plain window sills, staircases and spiral stair cases above plinth level up to floor five level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement, with 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand (zone-III) : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Reinforced cement concrete work in vertical and horizontal fins individually or forming box louvers, facias and eaves boards above plinth level up to floor five level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement with 1:1½:3 (1 cement : 1½ coarse sand (zone-III) : 3 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size).

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for all heights:

Vertical and horizontal fins individually or forming box louvers band, facias and eaves boards.

Weather shade, Chajjas, corbels etc., including edges.

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete above plinth level.

SH: WOOD WORK

Providing and fixing M.S. grills of required pattern in frames of windows etc. with M.S. flats, square or round bars etc. including priming coat with approved steel primer all complete.

Fixed to steel windows by welding.

SH: STEEL WORK

Providing and fixing factory made ISI marked steel glazed doors, windows and ventilators side /top /centre hung, with beading and all members such as F7D, F4B, K11 B and K12 B etc. complete of standard rolled steel sections, joints mitred and flash butt welded and sash bars tenoned and riveted, including providing and fixing of hinges, pivots, including priming coat of approved steel primer , but excluding the cost of other fittings, complete all as per approved design (sectional weight of only steel members shall be measured for payment).

Fixing with 15x3 mm lugs 10 cm. long embedded in cement concrete block 15x10x10 cm of C.C. 1:3:6 (1 Cement : 3coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Providing & fixing glass panes with putty and glazing clips in steel doors, windows, clerestory windows, all complete with :

Providing and fixing on wall face unplasticised Rigid PVC rain water pipes conforming to IS : 13592 Type A, including jointing with seal ring conforming to IS : 5382, leaving 10 mm gap for thermal expansion,

SH: REPAIRS TO BUILDING

Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq. meters and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground, all complete as per directions of Engineer-In-Charge.

With cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 fine sand)

Renewing glass panes, with putty and nails wherever necessary including racking out the old putty:

Float glass panes of thickness 4 mm.

Renewal of old putty of glass panes (length) .

Taking out existing wooden door / window shutter, repair by cutting, painting etc. and refixing of repaired door shutters to existing door / window frames, including replacement of hinges with screws, etc. as required, all complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Easening and adjustng of steel window for smooth opening and closing by removing plaster / cutting / welding if necessary as per direction & satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after .The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners,connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineerin-charge .The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose .The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. sqm 160.15 Note: - This item to be used for maintenance work judicially, necessary deduction for scaffolding in the existing item to be done.

SH: DISMANTLING & DEMOLISHING

Demolishing R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in- charge.

Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead.

SH: REPAIR AND REHABILITATION

Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material from slabs, beams,columns etc. with manual Chisel and/ or by standard power driven percussion type or of approved make including tapering of all edges, making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes etc. and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.(work is to be executed upto 20 m heights above G.L).

Cleaning of exposed concrete surface of sticking material including loose and foreign material by sand blasting with coarse sand followed by and including cleaning with oil free air blast as per direction of Engineer in charge.

Cleaning of reinforcement from rust from the reinforcing bars to give it a total rust free steel surface by using alkaline chemical rust remover of approved make with paint brush and removing loose particles after 24 hours of its application with wire brush and thoroughly washing with water and allowing it to dry, all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.(work is to be executed upto 23 m heights above G.L).

Drilling suitable holes in reinforced or plain cement concrete with power driven drill machine to a minimum depth of 100mm upto 200mm in RCC beams, lintels, columns and slabs to introduce steel bars for sunshades/balconies including fixing the steel bars in position using epoxy resin anchor grout of approved make but excluding the cost of reinforcement, all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.(work is to be executed upto 20 m heights above G.L).

Providing ,mixing and applying SIKA TOP ARMATEC ® 108 or equivalent @ 0.70 Kg/Sqm (Single coat) as approved by Engineer-in-charge and as per manufacturer's specification for anti- corrosive treatment of reinforcement and adjacent concrete (considering 40% of the dismantled concrete surface) all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.(work is to be executed upto 20 m heights above G.L).

Providing, mixing and applying bonding coat of approved adhesive on chipped portion of RCC as per specifications and direction of Engineer-In-charge complete in all respect.(work is to be executed upto 20 m heights above G.L).

Epoxy bonding adhesive (Arealdite GY250,Sika high bond or equivalent) having coverage 2.20 sqm/kg of approved make.

Plastering in cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement:3 fine sand) of 6.00 mm thick admixed with water proofing compound of approved make such as plastocrete super or equivalent confirming to IS 9103-1999,IS 2645-1975 and ASTM C-494-86 Type A @ 0.2% by weight of cement and as per manufacturer specification complete to improve water tightness and workability without increased water content and as per direction of Engineer in Charge. (work is to be executed upto 20 m heights above G.L).

Replacement of sufficiently damaged reinforcements or providing additional reinforcements with the damaged reinforcements by welding etc. including cost of reinforcement (TMT bar of required dia ),mobilization etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (work is to be executed upto 20 m heights above G.L).

Shotcreting R.C.C. columns, beams and slabs etc. in layers with approved design mix concrete having the specified minimum characteristic compressive strength [with ordinary portland cement, coarse sand and graded stone aggregate of 10 mm maximum size in proportion as per design criteria] including the cost of centering and shuttering at edges and corners etc. as directed by Engineerin- Charge

Note: Rates shall include the providing necessary ground wires etc.The levelling gauges, if used, shall be paid for separately. Payment under this item shall be made only after proper wet curing has been done and surface has been satisfactorily evaluated by sounding/ tapping with a blunt metal instrument.

Note: Rates shall be for finished surface area of concrete and shall include the cost of making holes in existing RCC slab, if required,for pouring concrete in shuttering mould of jacket and appropriate approved Super-Plasticiser for rendering concrete as flowable self compacting and SBR polymer but shall exclude cost of reinforcement, bond coat, Shear Keys, centering and shuttering,strutting, propping etc (Payment under this item shall be made only after proper wet curing has been done and surface has been satisfactorily evaluated by sounding/tapping with a blunt metal instrument)
