Scope of Work
Dismantling, replacement Providing, fixing, testing and commissioning of Penstock By pass filling valve along with new seamless Pipe assembly (tapping taken direct from penstock to MIV)with high pressure Globe Valve NB50(Make:Leader) of Unit-I ,Unit-II and Unit-III , threaded both ends ,welded using high quality material of electrode keeping in view of high head operating pressure. The pipe assembly and bends from both end should be fitted with flanges as per the site measurement with new fasterners and gasket/O rings.The complpete assembly will be tested with special flanges and testing equipmnets, at Bhaba site in presence of Engineeer-In charge. Testing pressure will be 140kg/cm² and test certificate of the material and valve should be produce before installation.During dismantle if any material got damaged same shall be replaced by the contractor at free of cost.Dismantled material sould be handover to the site representative. Note: The scope of this work includes the provision of labour, tools, plants, material and performance of work necessary for the design, manufacture, quality assurance, quality control, shop assembly, shop testing, site storage and preservation, installation, commissioning, performance testing, acceptance testing, , as per specification hereunder complete with all accessories and warranting trouble free safe operation of the installation. Note: All other extra consumable material required for the job if any, same will be in the scope of the contractor without any extra cost. Transportation / Carriage of all parts shall be in scope of contractor/firm. The Contractor shall provide all the required equipment, services, accessories & material required for the completion of the job as per site requirement whether explicitly mentioned in these specifications or not to fulfil the intent of the specification and to ensure the completeness, operation and maintainability of the system at no extra cost to the Employer.Contractor will be responsible for any fatal/non-fatal accident during the work. Completion of job in all respect as per directions of Engineer In-Charge.
