M&L for form work to edges of concrete flats, treads, breaks in floors, window cills, concrete railings, openings in concrete walls, floor and roofs horizontal or sloping and similar work exceeding 10cm but not exceeding 20cm wide for rough finished surfaces of concrete complete all as specified and directed.

Rendering 15 mm thick in two layers on brick or stone or concrete surfaces,first coat 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 and 2nd coat 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid seperately. (b) The unit rate quoted is deemed to included for Removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from plinth protection to outside MD land Note: Periodicity of cutting of grass shall be before commencement of work and after completion of repairs.

RCC 1:1½:3 Type B-1 using 20mm graded stone agg. as in beam and lintels etc.

Rendering 10 mm thick on ceiling surfaces, in cement mortar 1:3 finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Deformed TMT steel bar of grade Fe-500, 10mm dia aand over cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia., or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

Rendering 10 mm thick on brick or stone or concrete surfaces, in cement mortar 1:4 finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

RCC 1:1½:3 Type B-1 using 20mm graded stone agg. as in roof slab.

Hardcore 150mm thick spread thickness with stone/broken boulders or quarried stone of gauge exc 63mm but n exc 100mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc 15cm thick, watered and rolled/rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and as specified and as directed.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for all as specified and directed.

Framed work such as grills , grating ,etc with ends of bars shouldered and or revated for forged in to spike, framed guard bars barred iron doors, ladders, balusters, walk ways raling framed work for water tanks similar work confirming to Fe -290 Gde E-165

Demolition of concrete in ground floors and pavings n exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) including removing to outside MD land.

100mm thick, plain cement concrete (1:2:4), type B-1 (using 20 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates), as in hardstanding including making joints at 3.00 metre intervals and at each corner, the joint shall be filled with mastic filling (to full depth) comprising of one part heated hot blown bitumen 85/25 & two parts heated sand (by volume), surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement, including demolition of existing concrete and removal of debris out of MD land complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- The concrete shall be laid at a stretch not exceeding 3 metre in length and width of joint shall not be more than 12 mm.

M&L Joint free Non Skid Ceramic Tiles 7 to 8 mm thick [Square or Rectangular] Coloured, area of each tile exceeding 0.09 Sq.m and not exceeding 0.18 Sq.m, as in Floors etc, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match, laid over and including screed bed or bedding layer,15 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed. Note : The manufacturer's test certificate and individual test certificate for tiles must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation.

Glazed ceramic coloured tiles 350 x 250 x 7/8mm, 450 x 300 mm x 7/8 mm thick set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match with tiles on vertical surface such as dado including 10mm thick 1:4 backing coat complete all as specified and as directed. Note : The manufacturer's test certificate and individual test certificate for tiles must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation.

100mm thick cement concrete type B-1, 1:2:4 (20mm graded aggregate) as in floor concrete shall be laid in alternate bays not exc 3 mtr length, finished even and fair including roughening surfaces of old concrete floor or concrete surfaces by hacking sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust to outside MD land all as specified and as direted complete.

Surface excavation n exc 30 cm deep and averaging 15cm deep in hard/ dense soil and getting out, including disposal of rubis material, spreading and levelling in layers 25cm thick including watering as required all as directed.

Preparation of newly plaster surfaces of walls and two coats of dry distamper over one coat of chalk whiting complete all as specified and directed.

Pre painted Coloured Galvalume roofing system corrugated sheet 0.50 mm thick having Zinc aluminum alloy coating AZ150 shall be as per IS:277/ASTM 1379 150 gsm/ sqm double ribbed trapezoidal profile steel sheet any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in Roof covering /cladding to wall fixed with self tapping screws, complete including dismantling any type of sheet all as directed.

Pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based Plain steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws including dismantling of any type of sheet as specified

Note for Pre-painted coloured Galvalume roofing :-

(i) The unit rate is deemed to be included for dismantling to Plain or corrugated steel sheeting, any gauge, thickness, including Nainital or similar pattern roof coverings complete all as specified and as directed

(ii) The manufacturer's test certificate and individual test certificate for the chemical and mechanical properties of sheet must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation.

(iii) The contractor shall ensured that no leakages take place from the roof. The roofing shall be Coloured Galvalume roofing system (olive green colour or as approved by GE) with feed material manufactured from 0.50 mm Total coated thickness (TCT), minimum 550 MPa yield strength and shall conform to the physical specifications of IS: 2062 of 2011, coated with hot dip metallic Aluminium / Zinc alloy coating AZ150 as 150 gm/sq.mt total on both sides.

(iv) The painting shall be coloured baked enamel polyester with silicon coating of film thickness 25 microns nominal on the exposed face/exterior side and on the reverse side ( interior face) shall be white with 15 microns film thickness, over a coat of 5 micron nominal thickness Primer.

(v) The contractor shall produce purchase vouchers for each lot for verification of Engineer-in-Charge.

600x450 mm bevelled edge mirror fixed with 04 Nos Stainless steel studs complete all as specified and as directed.

Welding in repairs, exc 2,5 cm but n exc 5 cm in length with thickness of metal to be welded n exc 6 mm.

Demolition to Wall and ceiling boards (fibre, pulp, insulation, etc.) or insulation boards/slabs/ blankets, any thickness, including cover fillets complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge

S&F Wind operated Turbo Ventilators of size 24 inches dia with FRB base plate material of construction for ventilator is high grade Industrial Aluminium of thickness not less than 0.5mm. Material of construction of hardware is stainless steel -304. Bearing shall be steel in completely enclosed and dustproof integrated housing and aligned with each other, it shall have capability to rotate at nearly zero wind speed. Turbo ventilator shall have UV stabilized powder coated and capable of static balancing shall have high exhaust capacity and there shall not be any exhaust problem due to air block draft. Fixing arrangement shall have high quality rubberised hardware to prevent rain ingren. All Turbo Ventilator to be installed by manufacturer's auth person only. Contractor shall give no leakage guaranty for period of three years from the date of installation of Turbo Ventilator all as specified and as directed. Make : M/S Turbo Ventilators, M/S SVS Wind Driven Turbo Ventilators, M/s Arven Turbo Ventilators.

S&F for grills for air circulation for turbo ventilator made with powder coated aluminium frames of size 600x600mm fixed in false ceiling grid thickness not less than 2mm complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

S&F polycarbonate transperant sheet similaar to the profile of galvalume sheet 2mm thickness with two corugations side lap fixed with self tapping screws/J hooks 8mm dia in roof, wall etc complete including taking down all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Rolled sections as in main and cross beams, hip and jack rafters; purlins where connected to common rafters and running rails and guides for sliding doors; fixed with angle cleats or other connecting plates confoeming to Fe-290 Gde E-165, structure steel for staging of fuel tank fabrication in vehicle all as directed. Note :- Bolts/ welding and gust plate required for staging for fuel water tank is deemed to be included.

Two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of aluminium oxide primer on new steel surfaces over 10 cm girth including necessary preparation of surfaces all specified and as directed.

M&L false ceiling using GI snap grid size 60x60cm with main runner 38x24, wall angle & cross tee 29x24mm wall angle 24x24mm suspended with 4mm dia GI Wire fixed with steel dash fasteners carrying max load upto 8.1 Kg/Sqcm with 4mm thick designer ceiling board (Lake & Hill) all as per Everest regular T-2430 or equivalent (Make-Ramco/ Charminar/ Armstrong).

M&L for two coats of aluminium paint on old steel surfaces over 10 cm girth including necessary preparation of old surfaces all specified and as directed.

Preparation of old painted surfaces of steel and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer using mechanical means over 10 cm width or girth ,not other wise described complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for item No 96 :- (a) All synthetic enamel paint, shall be of 1st quality manufactured by the standard firms of make as specified.

(b) The contractor shall inform the GE, within three weeks of the acceptance of the tender, the brand/names of the manufacturers of paint proposed to be used in the works and submit samples thereof and obtain prior written approval of GE before their use in works.

(c) The contractor shall when so required by the GE, produce certificate from the manufacturer or their representative to establish that the brands of paints purchased by the contractor from them, satisfy the requirements of the relevant Indian Standards. Tint of paint will be approved by the GE.

(d) Paints shall be obtained direct from approved manufacturer or from their authorized agents only of respective brands mentioned below and brought to site in sealed containers. The paint so procured shall be of first quality of any approved make as per list of makes specified. i. Berger Paints (Luxol), ii. Jenson & Nicholson (Brolac), iii. Shalimar Paints(Superlac), iv. Goodlass Nerolac (Nerolac), v. Asian Paints(Apcolite)

(e) Unless otherwise specified the tints of paint shall be as approved by the GE

(f) The contractor shall submit samples of the paints proposed for the work along with results of tests conducted in approved laboratory as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for approval.

(g) The surface shall be thoroughly cleaned and dusted. All dirt scales oil and grease shall be thoroughly removed before painting is started. The prepared surface shall be inspected and approved by the GE before painting is commenced. The weather shall not be foggy/rainy, dusty or windy. The suitability of the weather will be determined by the Engineer-in-Charge.

(h) No hair marks from the brush or clogging of paint buddles shall be left on the work. Surface shall ordinarily not be painted until it has dried up completely. Trial patches of paint shall be laid at intervals to check if drying is satisfactory.

Removing debries etc to outside MD land including loading, unloading and stacking at the destination.

Taking down carefully copper/Alu point wiring (light, fan. socket or power) complete including fixtures and fitings such as switches, ceiling roses, pendents, regulators, sockets, light fitting etc and removing materials to store for keeping in safe custody or for taking credit (credit for above items should be made as per conditions separetely) and making good distrubed surfaces of walls, floors etc.

M&L for point wiring using approved colour coding as per IS for one light/bell/buzzer point controlled by one switch or one fan point controlled by one switch & fan regulator with PVC insulated, unsheathed FRLS multi stranded copper conductor 1.5 sqmm (nominal area) 1100 volt grade cable for phase & neutral drawn through Steel conduit with and including new MS/ cast iron sunken boxes duly painted with two coats of anticorrosive paint over a coat of red oxide primer on surface in touch with wall and synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide on other side, covered with 3mm thick plastic laminated sheet for mounting switches, regulators, sockets etc including 1.5 sqmm (nominal area) copper conductor PVC insulated, unsheathed, multi stranded FRLS cable as earth wire and connected to earth dolly complete all as specified and as directed. Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of maintenance free chemical earthing system comprising 17mm dia copper bonded rod 3 mtr long horizontally pre welded T-terminal rod with provision for connection size of 50 x 150mm long, 6mm thickness with equal space either side, with 12mm dia hole of 02 numbers each on either side of the terminal clamp with 250 microns (average) coating thickness, tested and certified by CPRI India alongwith 50 Kg earth energizer compound and 10 litres earth resistance reducing liquid. The earthing energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be tested as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTM G57-06, CI 3.4 A by any NABL accredited lab. The above mentioned rod shall be installed in 4-6 inch bore, 12 feet depth with a distance of minimum 3 meters between each installation all as directed. Make : Model HTSP 317 of safeTrode or equivalent in ISG Global/ ERICO.

The quoted rate shall also deemed to be included the following :- (i) Prior to installation of maintenance free chemical earthing, soil resistivity test to be carried out at the location where earthing work to be done in presence of Engr-in- Charge/JE (E/M),user and the report has to submit to Garrison Engineer with recommendation of manufacturer, if required additional interconnection of earthing (not more than 04 number of earthing) to achive earth result less then 1 Ohms. The arrangement done for soil resistivity testing and submission of report with recommendation deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(ii) The description/ size/ qty of items mentioned in above are for indicating only however qty/ size may vary at site condition to maintain the earth resistance 1 ohm. The contractor shall quote rate by considering all factors.

(iii) Rate of earth energizer compound of 25 Kg of 02 bags and earth resistance reducing liquid 10 litre per cane for each pit deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(iv) Resistivity of earth energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be certified by any NABL accredited lab carried out as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTMG57-06, CI-3.4A and the certificate of same shall be submitted by the contractor before commencement of work.

(v) Earth enhancing material should not leach into the adjacent soil or underground water channels and its PH valve should be in neutral range complete all as specified and as directed. It should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete.

(vi) Copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm should be fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end ( copper strip will be measured and paid separately).

(vii) Testing of earth shall be carried out in presence of departmental and user representative and report shall be submitted to Garrison Engineer duly signed by all concern.

(viii) Earth resistance tester will be provided by the contractor. Tester should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab.

(ix) Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by the contractor in presence of Engr-in-charge, user and proper record shall be maintened duly signed by all concerned. After testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt. till desired result is obtained.

(x) The contractor shall given a written guarantee of minimum three years for maintaining the earth resistance less than 1 Ohm after certified date of completion.

(xi) No further maintenance or periodic watering or recharge shall be required in earthing during its guarantee period of over 03 years in all type of soil including soft/ disintegrated or hard rock.

(xii) During the guarantee period, if earth resistance is not maintained less than 1 ohm the contractor has to redo or rectify at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is mainained.

(xiii) A security deposit of value equal to 2.5 % of the rate quoted for chemical earthing per each earthing shall be retained from payment due to the contractor for the guarantee period.

(xiv) The electrode shall carry manufacturer's name .

(xv) The connection clamp shall be permanentlly welded to the copper bounded rod to avoid any kind of connectivity loss,.The pre-welded copper bounded rod shall not need any additional clamp for termination.

(xvi) The acceptable earth resistance at earth busbar/ test point shall not be more than 0.1 ohm.

(xvii) The contractor shall submit CPRI India certified document for copper bonded rod to ensure genuity of material.

(xviii) Sign board of mild steel 2 mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide Zinc chrome primer showing result of earthing should be fixed near the earth pit after completion as directed by engr -in- charge.

(xix) Earth work such as auguring and making good the surrounding area shall carried out in any type of soil.

Copper strip 20 x 3mm thick as earthing lead fixed to wall/roofs etc including taking down existing one all as directed. NOTE : All Joints should be joined by Exothermic Welding or Brazing.

Earth pit cover made of heavy duty poly plastic of high grade polypropylene tested and certified by any NABL accredited lab for load bearing capacity not less than 9.2 tonnes with top dia not less than 250mm, bottom dia not less than 330 mm and height not less than 260 mm dia for each electrode pit complete all as specified and directed.
