Providing of floating shafts to transmit the RPM of reduction gear to the existing hoisting mechanism when electrically operated. The floating shaft shall be provided in such a way that it can be easily disconnected when operation of hoisting mechanism is required manually or providing suitable arrangement for manual operation of gate in case of failure of power supply/electro mech. defect. Providing and fitting of suitable size platform using MS Plate/ ISMB-200 /channel etc as per Actual site requirement to accommodate the motor, reduction gear box and electromagnetic brakes. Installation of complete system i.e. motor, reduction gear, electromagnetic brakes , floating shaft and other accessories like coupling pulley sets ,nuts bolts. Providing and fitting of field traveling limit switch with reduction gear so as to restrict the hoisting and lowering of Summer Gate up to extreme positions. Fabrication, Providing and fitting of MS sheet canopy fixed with Suitable MS frame over motor to protect from water falling from the floor of the pump House. Providing & installation of floor/wall mounted IP54 indoor type electrical Control Panel Board suitable for motor installed for Motorised gate operation complete with TPN/MCCB of suitable rating for isolation/safety at incoming, reversing DOL starter for upward and downward movement of gate (having suitable rating contactors for main power, forward and reverse rotation of motor) suitable protection relay against overload, phase failure. MCB(2A) for control circuit protection push buttons for ON/OFF, upward, downward movement of gate , emergency stop and provided with Local/remote operation selector switch, limit switch wiring, suitable indications, voltmeter, ammeter and fitted in powder coated suitable size CRCA enclosure hinged door with lock and complete with wiring .Fitting on MS sheet /angle frame. Repairs and servicing of summer and winter gate of unit no 6 at Tawi pump House Jammu it involves servicing and checking, cleaning of intermediate reduction gears, bearings, replacement of damaged bearings, and refilling new gear oil in reduction gear box and cleaning and greasing gears of winch machine . Repair/re-adjustment/ realignment / resetting of channel grooves for main gate and providing of additional strength to the channel grooves as and where required by removing weaken /cracked weld and rewelding. Cleaning metal surfaces of summer and winter gates and painting with one coat of anticorrosive primer and two coats of epoxy paint, cleaning all wire ropes and lubricating with cadmium compound. Complete job includes design, fabrication, installation including material cost, labour charges, carriage charges Testing and commissioning. Strengthening /Repairs/ servicing of Hoisting system of gates (motorized summer gate unit No. 01 to 05) and winter gates installed at Tawi Pump House, Jammu. Cleaning and lubrication of all the intermediate reduction gears and bearings. Replacement of damaged bearings, oil seals, refilling new gear oil. The job also includes replacement of worn-out brake leathers and rivets of electromagnetic brakes, replacement of tension springs. Dismounting 05 nos. motors from platform, shifting to workshop for repairs. Complete rewinding of stator of 5 HP, 415 V AC motor -01 No. by way of extraction of burnt out coils, P/F new coils wound of requisite gauge copper wire using suitable superior quality insulation material, varnishing and drying under controlled temperature. Job includes greasing of bearings, replacing damaged bearing -01 no and re assembling of motors. Complete servicing of other 5HP motors 415 volt -04 no’s. by way of dismantling, cleaning, varnishing and drying under controlled temperature to achieve proper IR value, cleaning and re greasing of bearings. Shifting back to Pump House installation of repaired motors, reduction gear, and electromagnetic brakes and floating shaft on base frame/ platform and fitting of traveling limit switch. Fabrication / Repair / readjustment / realignment / resetting of channel grooves for main gate and providing of additional strength to the channel grooves as and where required. Replacement of damaged contactors, overload relay, pushes buttons etc. Testing of complete system after installation. Complete servicing of winch machines of summer gates .cleaning and painting of steel wire ropes of the gates by way of cleaning ropes and applying two coat of cadmium compound. Cutting/Dismantling damaged/corroded/distorted inner vertical strips and frame work members of the trash rack with the help of gas cutter. Straightening of the framework member made out of MS Angle 75x75x8 with the help of power pressing, hammering etc. Providing and Fabrication of 24 Nos. inner vertical strips of length 1.57 m/e made out of MS flat of 75x8 mm-40.0 m in lieu of the badly damaged/corroded/missing ones and cutting partially damaged strips, straightening, refitting. Painting of trash rack with one coat of red oxide primer and two coats of black enamel paint after cleaning and preparing surface for application of paint.
