M&L for disconnecting of PVC tank of capacity 500 Litres & upto 1000 Litres for cleaning including setting aside temporarily and refixing later in same position for water supply to enable water proofing treatment of roof slab beneath the tank in following laid down process all as specified and directed :- (a) Dewatering & removing all settled silt, scale & dust from inside of tanks using coconut brush manually and applying bleaching powder and allowed to rest for 1 hour. (b) Cleaning & rinsing the tank using fresh water to wash out complete and allowed to dry for 30 minutes. (c) Refixing the tank & old fittings in same position or raised/ lower height after cleaning or water proofing treatment (as may necessary) complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Note : - Alternative arrangement for providing water supply to the Qtr shall be provided by the contractor by relocating the serviceable tank until the waterproofing treatment is completed.
Writing letters of not Exceeding 30 cm height using synthetic enamel paint (white colour) to mention date of cleaning including rubbing out old letters written over the tank complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Cutting down small trees/ bushes from wall/ roof/ chajja of building including digging out the roots from brick work or any other structure portion of building including applying root killer chemical as per manufacturer instructions and making good the disturbed portion to match the existing surface complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Roughening old concrete/ brick surfaces of roof by picking, brushing with wire brush, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust etc., brushing neat cement slurry with 3.0 kg of cement per sqm over cleaned roof surfaces complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing 15 mm thick polymer modified plaster in ratio 1:10 over slab (1 part of polymer and 10 parts of cement and sand with solid contents) and applying priming coat of epoxy primer with resin and hardner with water dilution as per manufacturer's instruction, applying 1st coat of solvent based polyurathene liquid membrane not less than 500 micron thick @ 0.61 Kg/sqm and applying 2nd coat of solvent based polyurathene liquid membrane not less than 500 micron thick @0.61 Kg/sqm over dried 1st coat, including preparation of existing roof surface complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Note :- (a) The work pertaining to Roof treatment shall be executed by the contractor as per MoU from authorised applicator through manufacturer of the materials polymer after approval by the GE. The works shall be carried out only by authorized applicator having valid authorization letter from the approved make. (b) The Contractor shall submit "Memoradum of Understanding" (MOU) along with sample approval with one of the manufacturers mentioned in the contract within 10 days from issue of work order no. 1. (c) Scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles and protective measures etc, as necessary for execution of work shall be arrenged by the contractor without any extra cost to the department.
M&L for 40 mm thick Brick tiles laid over screed bed 15 mm thick in CM 1:6 and joints grouted flush in CM 1:3 including dismantling of existing brick tiles complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Demolition of Brickwork or stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles, complete including removing the waste materials to a distance not exceeding 500 meters complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
M&L for Brick work with sub class 'B' Bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 metre mean radius built in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
