Raw Water Intake Station : Febrication, Supplying, placing and installation of M.S. Floating Barge having deck size of 7.5 m. x 5.0 m. with all necessary mooring materials & lifesaving equipment; tying arrangement; lighting arrangement with proper earthling system, proper approach arrangement from the river bank etc. (Frame work consist of IS Channels / Angles and the Hull / deck fabricated out of IS225 grade MS plate, in conformity with relevant BIS Code of Practices with latest amendments & current at the time of execution and following the norms etc. as prescribed by the IWT Deppt., Assam / Competent Authority, including Internal electrification work (with copper wiring of required C/S. area) with all necessary electrical fittings & fixures viz., light / fan / power socket etc., at intake barge / compound illumination at intake station etc.; providing Pre Painted Galvanized Iron Sheet Roofing with MS Truss & supporing frame; providing AC Sheet ceiling; painting all surfaces of trghe barge with bituminous and/or synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red lead primer etc., complete, as directed and specified. River Bank Protection work at Intake Station : River Bank Protection work at Intake Station by providing Pitching with cement concrete block of size 0.3 x 0.3 x 0.3 m. cast in cement concrete of Grade M15 laid over prepared filter material bed in bank slope including boulder appron and including providing and laying filter material underneath pitching in slopes complete as per technical specification, and as directed and specified. Utility cum Operator's Room at Intake Station : Constructing 1 (one) No. Assam Type Utility cum Operator's Room at Intake for 1 (one) No. Pump Operator / Chowkider consisting of 1 bed room, 1 kitchen, 1 toilet (common) & 1 Utility Room having minimum 30.0 Sq.m. Plinth Area with minimum 600 mm plinth height from finished G.L.& 3.3 m. finished floor height above the plinth, having Steel casement window/ ventilator, 1st. class local hard Wood door frame, 1st. class local hard Wood panelled shutter (Toilet door shall be of solid moulded PVC frame & 25 mm. thick PVC shutter), Ceramic Tile flooring with in the bed room, & at entry / Anti Skid tile flooring & white glazed ceramic tile daddo in kitchen & toilet. Roof of the structure shall be of powder coated pre laminated corrugated Galvanised sheet with Steel Roof Truss. The structure shall have A.C. sheet ceiling with wooden frame. All internal faces of wall, soffit of ceiling etc in the building shall be finished with dry distemper (including the priming coat) over cement mortar plastering and exterior faces of the entire building shall be finished with weather coat cement paint (including priming coat) over cement mortar plastering. All wood/steel work viz., door/window/ventilator frame & shutter etc. shall be finished with synthetic enamel paint over a priming coat. the staff quarter shall be provided with necessary internal water supply & sanitary installation work including providing 1 No. 1500 litre capacitypre-casted ferrocement septic tank. Raw Water Pumping Machinery and other accessories comprising of : Supply, installation testing and commissioning including trial run of 3 Nos. (2 Working + 1 Standby) horizontal split casing type electrically operated centrifugal pumping machinary of reputed make and conforming to BIS specification and & other regulatory norms, each set giving discharge of 16.5673 lps. against total head of 31.64 m. in the Intake Barge with matching 3 - Ph. Induction motor of 1440 RPM (1500syn) 415 Volts, AC supply, 50 Hz., TEFC body drive motor (as per relevant BIS specification) with variable frequency drive where required, all of reputed make and conforming to BIS specification & other regulatory norms, including providing all necessary suction & delivery piping arrangements with control valves & specials viz. foot valve, sluice valve, non return valve etc., electrical switch gear and all all necessary electrical and other installation works thereof along with required capacity Capacitor Bank Panel and connection cable of required sizes, arrangement for priming system, anti vibratory mountings for the pump set, hooking up of the pump with the raw water pumping main as described in subsequent items of this BoQ etc., all complete as directed and specified. Manifold Type M.S. Common Header at river Bank & Flexible Hoses for connecting the Raw Water Main with the Raw Water Pumps mounted on Barge : Providing Manifold Type fabricated M.S. Common Header having 3 inlet port and one common outlet including providing RCC support at river Bank and supplying, fitting and fixing of flexible armored hoses of required dia & pressure class including hooking up & connecting all the raw water pumping machinary on intake barge to one raw water pumping main, all complete, as directed and specified. Raw Water Conveying Main from intake station to the Treatment Plant : Providing, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning of 300 mm dia. DI/SS Class-K7 pipes conforming to relevant BIS Code (with up to date & latest ammendments at the time of execution) from Manufacturere Store including providing all necessary specials viz., bend, tee, enlarger/reducer, end plug etc., manufactured by the same manufacturere of pipe and including transportation of the pipes & specials upto work site including handling charges; lowering and laying of the ppipes & specials in line and level in trenches and / or over supports (minimum cover of pipe in trenches shall be 1 meter); Jointing of pipes & required specials etc.; including supplying, fitting and fixing of all required sluice valve, non return valve air valve etc., all of required pressure class & of reputed make conforming to relevant BIS specification (with up to date & latest ammendments at the time of execution); hydraulic testing of the same (pipes specials & valves); construction of required valve chamber and, including all necessary earth work / road cutting etc. for making pipe trenches & back filling of the same to its original condition; acquiring permission for road cutting etc., if any, from the competant authority; restoration of the excavated road surface (both heard crust and/or side berm) to its original condition; Making of supporting pillars for portion of pipe line to be laide along depressed area/ nullah crossing etc., if any; and, including providing all necessary labour & equipment etc., all complete, as directed and specified. Storage of Treated Water : Construction of 3,00,000.0 ltrs. Capacity RCC Under Ground Treated Water Sump and RCC main Electrical Control Room for Treatment plant above the Sump at treatment plant location, having all appurtenances & provision in the Sump for all inlet, outlet & overflow arrangement; calibrated water level indicator; Air Vent Pipe; Men Hole with Cover; CI Lugs inside the sump etc., and complete finishing of the main Electrical Control Room having steel casement window / ventilator, MS Rolling Shutter, C.C. flooring with metallic concrete hardener. Plinth Area with minimum 600 mm plinth height from finished G.L.& 3.3 m. finished floor height above the plinth, having MS Rolling Shutter/ Collapsible Gate & Steel casement window/ ventilator, CC flooring with ironite topping for the entire pump room etc.Roof of the structure shall be of powder coated pre laminated corrugated Galvanised sheet with Steel Roof Truss. The structure shall have A.C. sheet ceiling with wooden frame. All internal faces of wall, soffit of ceiling etc in the building shall be finished with dry distemper (including the priming coat) over cement mortar plastering and exterior faces of the entire building shall be finished with weather coat cement paint (including priming coat) over cement mortar plastering. Treated Water Pumping Machinery and other accessories comprising of : Providing following capacity electrically operated Centrifugal type Pumping Machinery with matching drive motor (variable frequency drive where required), all of reputed make and conforming to BIS specification & other regulatory norms for 3 (three) different clear water pumping main route and for each route there shall be 3 (three) pump sets (2W+1S), including providing for each route, all necessary suction & delivery piping arrangements with control valves & specials viz. foot valve, sluice valve, non return valve etc., electrical switch gear along with required capacity Capacitor bank panel and connection cable of required sizes, arrangement for priming system, anti vibratory mountings for the pump set, hooking up of the pump with the the respective clear water pumping main etc. and including payment of all taxes and duties as applicable, all complete as directed and specified. Required Number and approximate capacity of the Pumping Sets for each of the three different pumping main route are as follows : (a) For Clear Water Pumping Main Route - I for Serving ESR at Zone - 1 to Zone - 9 : 3 Nos. (2 Nos. Treated Water Conveying Main from Treated Water Sorage Sump to the Elevated Service Reservoir : Providing, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning of Clear Water Pumping Main in 3 (three) different route for conveying treated water from the Treatment plant to 15 (fifteen) Nos. of Zonal Elevated Service Reservoir, having total approximate length of 50895.0 Rm. of assorted diameter ISI marked PE 63 Grade, PN6 pressure rating High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipes suitable for drinking water supply conforming to IS:4984-2016 (with up to date & latest ammendments at the time of execution) from Manufacturere Store including providing all necessary control valves and specials viz., bend, tee, enlarger/reducer, end plug etc. (matching with the prescribe Grade & Presuure rating same as to that of pipe); Non AMR type Bulk Water Meter of Matching sizes at begining of Each Route & at entry to each of the Elevated Service Reservoir etc., all conforming to BIS Specification and including transportation of the pipes, valves & specials, water meters & other appurtanances upto work site including handling charges; lowering and laying of the pipes, specials & valves etc. in line and level in trenches and / or over supports (minimum cover of pipe in trenches shall be 1 meter); Jointing of pipes & required specials etc. by fusion welding; construction of required valve chamber and, hydraulic testing of the same (whole pipe network comprising of pipes, valves & specials etc.), including all necessary earth work / road cutting etc. for making pipe trenches & back filling of the same to its original condition; acquiring permission for road cutting etc., if any, from the competent authority; restoration of the excavated road surface (both heard crust and/or side berm) to its original condition; providing RCC supporting pillars for portion of pipe line to be laid along depressed area/ nullah crossing etc., if any; and, including providing all necessary labour & equipment etc., all complete, as directed and specified.. Construction of two pit latrine at Treatment plant site having CGI Sheet roofing with wooden frame; 1st. Class local wood door frame & shutter, finished with synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red primer; C.C. flooring; 75 mm thick brick nogged walls finshed with 15 mm thick cement mortar plaster & water proof cement paint; vitreous water closet squatting pan (Indian type W.C Orissa pattern) with flashing systern & all necessary accessories etc., all complete, as directed and specified. Trial Run : Trial Run of the complete water supply scheme after successful commissioning of all the system component of the same for 2 (two) month including payment of wages for all pump operator, treatment plant operator, Khalashi, Plumber, Electrician, Helper, Casual labour etc. for both intake station & treatment plant; supplying of all necessary chemicals, disinfectants, laboratory reagent etc., and payment of Electrical Energy Bill to APDCL including providing PoL for the Captive Power Generator for operating during Power Failure etc., all complete, as directed and specified.
Conducting Sub Soil Investigation work conforming to relevent BIS Code of Practices for finding out different sub soil parameters & calculation of bearing capacity of soil at suitable depth from the formation level by making exploratory bore hole of required depth (minimum 15.0 m. from the existing GL); conducting Standard Penetration Test (SPT) at every 1.5 m. interval or where there is change of strata; Collecting Undisturbed & Disturbed Soil Samples at every 1.5 m. interval or where there is change of strata; Conducting laboratory tests for Particle Size Analysis, determination of Liquid Limit, determination of Plastic Limit, Plasticity Index, determination of Moisture Content & Void Ratio, determination of Bulk Density & Dry Density, determination of Specific Gravity, determination of Direct Shear Strength, determination of Unconfined Compressive Strength, determination of Consolidation Properties and any other parameters required for calculating the Bearing Capacity of Sub Soil including calculating the Ultimate & Safe Bearing Capacity of Sub Soil (both during Normal & Seismic condition) at different depth from the existing Gl and submission of report thereof (in quadraplicate), all complete, as directed and specified. Minimum required number of exploratory Bore Hole for treatment plant is 3 (three) and Minimum required number of exploratory Bore Hole for each pof the Elevated Service Reservoir are 3 (three), totalling to minimum 48 (forty eight) Nos. of Exploratory Bore Holes of minimum 15.0 m. depth from the existing GL at each of the respective work site. (The Bore Hole Log of each of the Exploratory Bore Holes are to be countersigned by the concerned Asstt. Ex. En gineer (PHE). (Refer Annexure - XX of the Technical Bid Document for indicative Item of Works involved in the Job)
Preparation of detailed structural design & detailed working drawings for all the system component of the scheme viz., all units at Intake Station; all units at Treatment Plant; all the Zonal Elevated Service Reservoir; Raw Water Pumping Main & Raw Water Pumping Machinary; Clear Water Pumping Main & Clear Water Pumping Machinary; and, all the Zonal Water Distribution Pipe Network (by using computer aided software, LOOP/ Epanet/ Water Jem etc.) including onducting detailed Topographical Survey of the entire Project Area showing all the existing road network; demarcating the GP / Village / Habitation/ water supply zone boundary; paddy field; forest land etc.; and. locating theIntake Station, treatment Plant location and location of all the Zonal Elevated Service Reservoir theron. The Road Network Map should clearly indicate the location of culvert/bridge; any land Mark viz., School, Primary Health Centre, Anganwadi Centre, Market place; type of road viz., Black Topped / Paver Block / Metalled etc. The Topographical survey report shall have to be self sufficient for generating all required input data for designing of Raw Water & Clear Water Pumping Main and the Distribution Pipe Networks, all complete, as directed and specified.
