Note - Rates are inclusive of copper screws with washers for fixing copper strip on porciline insulator with minimum size 1 inch and maximum size 1.5 inch with max external dia of screw is 8mm and 2 nos of GI nut for fixing insulator on wall all as per site requirement ,complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F,in repair,Medium grade GI pipe of 20 mm dia for fixing air termination rod, the pipe shall be suitably tapered for fixing the saddle insulator at an interval not exceeding 0.5 meter, the pipe should be laid vertically and should be properly supported, length of each vertically pipe should not exceed 3 RM, the air termination rod, down conductors should be insulated from the pipe all as directed.

S&F,in repair, test terminal block made with gun metal size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos 8mm dia 25mm long hex head of gun metal screw ,complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for earthing complete with Copper earth plate electrode 600x 600x 3.15 mm buried directly in ground with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtrs below normal gound level and connected to earth test point by means of copper Strip of size 20x3 mm all as specified and shown in electric plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I 2009 including earthwork, PCC chamber using 1:3:6 type C2 for earthing pit , CI cover with necessary frame , protection pipe of size 15mm dia and watering pipe of 20mm bore medium grade, funnel, mesh etc all as required at site and all as directed. Note: (i) 7.5 RM Copper strip in deemed to be included in quoted rates beyond 7.5 RM strip shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) Earth resistance of earth pit should be less than 2 Ohms. On testing after completion if the desired earth resistance is not obtained the earthing will be redone at no extra cost. (iii) Rate quoted by the tenderer is deemed to include salt & Charcoal upto & above 450 mm top of Copper plate. (iv) Soil registance test if required shall be the responsbility of contractor without any extra cost. Location: AFS HQ Area.Scope Of Work :- (a) Engine Cooling System :- Checking of radiator ,V belts, enging oil,hoses connections , fan pulley, water pump,vibration of engine, belts tension,water level sensor and necessary rectify the defect if found. (b) Engine Fuel System :-Checking fuel lines connections,piping, clamps, hose, etc.governors ,electronic governing system,priming pump,fuel filter and necessary rectify the defect if found. ( c) Engine Lubricating System Inspection :-Checking oil lines connections and rectify any signs of oil leak, loose connections, corroded piping, defective clamps, deteriorated hose, etc.Checking oil pressure condition and rectify any sign of erratic operation, defective gauges, defective pressure sensors, defective wiring harness, etc.Checking oil level & oil quality condition.Checking oil condition .
