NOTE FOR ALL PAINITNG ITEMS :- The following precautionary measures shall be ensured by the contractor during execution of work :- (i) Contractor shall deposit entire quantity of materials (proprietory materials) in sealed containers required for painting works covered under subject contract in the custody of Engineer-In-Charge/ Office in charge of unit. (ii) The materials as required shall be issued to contractor by JE/ Engineer-In-Charge on daily basis and the empty containers/ bags shall be deposited in the store of Engineer -In-Charge by the contractor, for verification as per standard consumption/ coverage prescribed by the manufacturers. (iii) Before applying cement base paint/weather proof acrylic emulsion paint contractor shall use the wire brush for the removal of loose paint, dust, algae, moss and filling of crack using crack sealent and cleaning of surface by spray jet. (iv) Application of cement base paint strictly done by spray/mechanical spray machine only, otherwise 30% cost shall be reecovered from the respective item. (v) After completion of painting work contractor shall remove and clean all the droplets/stain of paint left on the floor, glasses and joinery.

NOTE FOR PLUMBING AND SANITARY ITEMS:- (i) Contractor shall deposit entire quantity of plumbing and sanitary wares materials required / covered under subject contract in the custody of Engineer-In-Charge/ Office in charge of unit. (ii) The materials as required shall be issued to contractor by JE/ Engineer-In-Charge on daily basis.

Dismantling of asbestos cement (corrugated, semicorrugated, etc.) sheets as in roof coverings complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 6mm thick asbestos cement, corrugated or semi-corrugated sheets in roofs, walls etc fixed with L-type or J- type or cranked hook bolts complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per Sl Item No. 4 above but except AC sheet. NOTE:- Serviceable asbestos sheets as obtained from Sl Item No. 3 above shall be reused.

Material and labour for asbestos cement two- piece adjustable plain wing ridge 6mm thick fixed with L-type or J- type or cranked hook bolts complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of plain or corrugated/ galvalume steel sheeting, any gauge, thickness, including Nainital or similar pattern roof coverings complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix pre- painted galvalume aluminum zinc coated GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof coverings / cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coated GI based plain steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in ridge, roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix 0.63 mm thick plain galvanised, mild steel sheeting, as in ridges, hips, valley gutters, drip and straight flashings (length and girth as fixed) with grade of zinc coating 275 fixed with self tapping / coach screws complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing of old water proofing treatment, cleaning the surface of slab with wire brushes, removing dust, foreign material, removal of rubbish off the site to a distance n.exc. 100m complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 10 mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:3) on RCC roof slabs mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturers instructions finishing the surfaces even and fair to receive water proofing treatment complete without using extra cement all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE:- WPC shall be measured and paid separately.

Material and labour for water proofing treatment over RCC slab by applying oil based bituminous primer on prepared surface @0.25 Kg/sqm, laying 3mm thick APP modified water proofing polymeric membrane with 100 mm side and end lap having weight not less than 3.50 kg/ sqm , reinforced with with non-woven polyster reinforced matt weighing not less than 160 gms/sqm polyster core having soften point not less than 1500oC, longitudinal tensile strength not less than 650 N/5cm, by torching method and applying a coat of solar reflective aluminium paint @ 0.15 Kg/sqm on membrane surface including 24 hrs ponding test complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for sunken flooring treatment as per following details complete all as specified and as directed:- (a) Special treatment to toilet floor by demolition of existing treatment of any description and thickness, removal of rubbish to a distance exc. 5KM but not exc.7.5KM. (b) Clean the sunken portion of toilet / Bath / WC / Kitchen throughly to remove laitance, dirt dust, etc. (c) Form angle fillet of size 40mm x 40mm along the junction of wall and floor using polymer modified mortar ("Dr Fixit"Pidicrete URP" or equivalent as given in Appx 'C'.). Material and labour for preparation of new or previously untreated steel and iron surfaces of any description not other wise described over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for solid PVC wall lining consisting of 5mm thick plain colour PVC sheet inclusive of solvent cement and fixing at site on PVC frame 5mm thick PVC sheet fillet of width 35mm for wall paneling inclusive of fixing on to wall to make PVC frame as as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix powder coated aluminium grill of 50mm spaced design with 5-6mm thick, for aluminium door and windows at required location as directed by Engineer-in-Charge, includig all necessary fittings and screw complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for applying one coat of tile guard of approved shade over any type of roof surfaces including preparation at any height, scaffolding and safety measures etc complete all as specified and as directed. MAKE:- Asian paints or equivalent in Berger, Nerolac, Indigo paints)

Material and labour for Chequered cement concrete tiles rubber moulded 300 x 300 x 25mm thick set, jointed and pointed in near cement slurry in floors, with grey cement and pigments over and including 15 mm thick screed bedding in CM (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed.
