Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exc. 1.5m depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25cmin soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5m above the starting point ,complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and lay for dry river sand filling for cable protection with a layer of 8cm deep before laying and 15cm covering above the top edge of cable after laying complete all as specified and directed. (Note : Punned thickness shall be measured). Note :- Punned thickness 18 cm shall only be considered for payment.

Supply and lay in trenches fly ash bricks of size 23cm x 11cm x7 cm, for cable protection ,complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of cross arms of MS channel or angle iron sections etc complete and setting aside complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of insulators any type any size,complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of steel earth wire from existing overhead service feeder etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of ACSR conductor of any size from existing overhead service feeder etc,complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling/taking out carefully of old service cable/ LT cable from trenches ,ducts,on pole ,wall,sleeve of any size type or core and kept aside for reuse / rerouting / jointing / replacement etc, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, laying, fixing, connecting, testing and commissioning of LT under ground cable in trenches or passing through HDPE DWC pipe, 1100 volts grade, heavy duty XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded galvanized steel strip armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor cross sectional area 185 Sqmm 3.5 core duly glanded complete all as specified. (Note : (1) Cost of HDPE DWC pipe to be catered in item rate and prior approval for colour of pipe to be taken from Engr-in-Charge, (2) DWC high density Polyethylene pipe shall have corrugation on outer wall but inner wall shall be plain with ISI mark conforming to IS – 14930 Part I and II amended from time to time and Accessories like HDPE snap fit coupler with neoprene ‘O’ ring shall be part of supply to make the joints water / damp proof),complete all as specified and as directed. (3) Cable route indicator of metal of Total height 600 mm, 450 above GL duly written "LT CABLE" on every 30 mtr to be fixed with PCC (1:3:6), 150 mm below the GL , Cost of route indicator and PCC for fixing indicators to be deemed in this item rate.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metreswith top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level, the earth plate surrounded by alternative layer of charcoal dust and salt with thickness of 150mm to a packed thickness of 150 mm on all sides with and including necessary exacavation earth work including GI strip 25 X 4 mm as earthing lead connected with bolted and reverted to earth plate at one end in and connected to continuous GI strip 25 X 4 mm and including all as shown in electrical plate No 3, complete all as specified and as directed. Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanised mild steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6.0mm thick, burried directly in ground to a depth not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level surrounded with adequate quantity of charcoal dust mixed with salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm all around the plate, using galvanised earth lead wire 4 mm dia as earth strip electrode bolted or rivetted to earth plate at one end and connected to equipments at another end, GI earth strip encased in and including 40 mm dia GI 'light grade' pipe from upper end of earth plate upto equipments,20 dia bore GI pipe 'light grade' as water pipe from earth chamber to upper edge of earth plate, Test point , GI funnel with wire mesh fixed on water pipe and PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in pit chamber and RCC pit cover 50mm thick precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1, duly reinforced with MS round bars 6mm dia @ 100 c/c both ways with 10mm dia MS round bar as in lifting handles, excavation, earth work including laying the GI pipe concealed in floor/wall all as described in electric plate 3 of SSR Part I complete all as specified and directed and testing on completion.
