PAINTING TO RUNWAY, DISPERSAL AND TAXIWAY, CLEANING AND REPAIR OF MONSOON DRAIN AND ALLIED WORKS AT STN UNDER GE (AF) CHABUA

M & L for preparation of old painted surface of concrete/flexible pavement and applying one coat of road marking paint /water based grade-2 conforming to IS 164-1981 (white, Yellow, Black and Orange, etc) as in 102 Sqn Dispersal, PTT, tech flt dispersal, loops/links etc complete all as specified and as directed. (The work may be ordered six times during currency of the contract) (Each coat will be measured and paid separately if directed in the writting for additional coat)

M & L for preparation of new surface of concrete pavement and applying two coats of road marking paint /water based grade-2 conforming to IS 164-1981 (white, Yellow, Black and Orange, etc) over a coat of approved primer as in new Dispersal, loops/links etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparation of old painted concrete surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth, applying one coat of synthetic enamal paint on horizontal/vertical surfaces of concrete/plaster to match with the existing pattern complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for raking of joint/removing old any sealing compound, dirt from EXPANSION JOINTS 20mm wide (+ 3 mm) and 40 mm deep, cleaning the joint sides properly by mechenical means with diamond cutter, filling the joints with closed cell, medium density, cross linked polyethene foam backup rod of 20mm dia and applying bond breaker tape on top of backup rod for complete width of the joints,priming top with specified primer suitable for polyurathene sealing compound and filling polyurathene based sealent, 10 mm thick including using masking tape on edges of joints to avoid accidental spillage of sealent on top of surface of pavements complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for raking of joints/removing old any sealing compound, dirt from DUMMY/CONSTRUCTION JOINTS 10 mm wide (+ 3 mm) and 30 mm deep, cleaning the joint sides properly by mechenical means with diamond cutter ,filling the joints with closed cell, medium density, cross linked polyethene foam backup rod of 10 mm dia and applying bond breaker tape on top of backup rod for complete width of the joints,priming top with specified primer suitable for polyurathene sealing compound and filling polyurathene based sealent, 10 mm thick including using masking tape on edges of joints to avoid accidental spillage of sealent on top of surface of pavements complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for raking of joints/removing old any sealing compound, dirt ,upto a average depth of 30 mm from DUMMY/CONSTRUCTION JOINTS of a average width 12 mm, (+ 3 mm) cleaning the joint sides properly by mechenical means with diamond cutter,filling the joints with closed cell, medium density, cross linked polyethene foam backup rod of 12 mm dia and applying bond breaker tape on top of backup rod for complete width of the joints,priming top with specified primer suitable for polyurathene sealing compound and filling polyurathene based sealent, 13 mm thick including using masking tape on edges of joints to avoid accidental spillage of sealent on top of surface of pavements complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for making good cracks/repair in Concrete slabs (exposed rigid pavement ) by cutting 30 mm to 40 mm deep and cutting spilled joint, sides perpendicullar and parallal to edges by mechenical tools like dimond cutter,cleaning with compressed air under pressure and filling with Elastomeric concrete after application of specified primer all as per manufactures instruction and specifications complete and removal of rubbish to a distance exc 250 m and nexc 500 m and depositing complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for repair to cracks on flexible pavement of runway, PTT and links of runway cracks to be cut to 20mm width upto 30mm depth using diamond cutter and filled with using ready mix pothole repairing bituminous concrete product and compacted, tempers to finish with the exisitng surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cleaning of monsoon drain 1.5 m in depth(avg) as ordered including taking out accumulated silts sand muds etc from bottom of drain removal of all types of organic materials silts, sand, muds etc from bottom of brick drain etc to a distance of exc 250 mtr complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparing of old surfaces of floors and applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for scraping of grass/wild growth, etc around the runway lights DTGM/link boards, and drain channels etc in any Airfield area including removing of rubbish from the site and deposited where directed at a level n.exc 1.5mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.
