Supply, fixing & testing of perforated powder coated MS cable trays 40 x 100, 2mm thick including horizontal and vertical bends, reducers, tees, cross members and other accessories as required and duly suspended from the ceiling with MS suspenders etc complete all as specified and directed.

ROAD, PATH, CULVERTS AND HARDSTANDING WORKS Providing, Laying, compaction of granular sub-base by providing close graded material conforming to specifications i.e Grading II, conforming to Clause 401 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material by tippers to work site, for all leads & lifts, spreading in uniform layers of specified thickness with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller of capacity 8 to 12 tonne to achieve the desired density, 150 mm thick compacted thickness, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Providing, Laying, compaction of Wet Mix Macadam conforming to Clause 406 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision) , 250 mm thick (compacted thickness,125 mm thick in two separate layers) with mechanically crushed graded stone aggregates and granular material (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm ), grading of aggregates as per Table 400-13 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision) ,including premixing the material with water at OMC in for all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers with mechanical paverfinisher in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity to achieve the desired density , required gradient and camber etc., complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTES: 1. The WMM shall be laid in two layers i.e each layer of 125 mm thick (compacted thickness). 2. For payment purpose,both layers shall be considered as one unit.

Preparation of un-surfaced Wet Mix macadam (WMM) surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for re-moving caked mud ,dust, loose material, foreign material etc., sweeping with power brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with air compressors to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming coat on un-surfaced wet mix macadam surfaces conforming to Clause 502 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), with cationic bituminous emulsion SS1 grade,confirming to IS 8887(latest edition) @ 7.5 kg per 10 sq metres using primer distributor which shall be self-propelled or towed bitumen pressure sprayer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, laying & compaction of Bituminous Macadam (BM) 50 mm Compacted thickness conforming to Clause 504 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), using mechanically crushed stone aggregates and granual material etc. of grading II as per Table 500-7 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), premixed with bituminous binder, Bitumen grade VG-30 @ 3.50% (percentage by weight of total mix) prepared in Batch Type Hot Mix Plant of 100-120 TPH capacity transported to site by tippers, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher equiped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers as per specifications to achieve the desired compaction and density complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes : (i) The contractor shall quote the rate against Item considering 3.5% VG-30 bitumen content. Job mix formula as per MoRT&H specifications for road and bridge work (Fifth Revision) for bituminous concrete shall be got designed from NIT/ CTL/ Govt Engg College and shall be got approved from GE in writing well before commencement of work without any financial effect to the department. Also the bitumen content shall not be less 3.4% by weight of total mix as per clause 504.2.4 of MoRT&H specifications (Fifth Revision). (ii) If qty of binder contents is less than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ, it shall be adjusted at supply only rates of paving bitumen @ Rs 45.00 Per Kg and if qty of binder contents is more than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ no adjustment shall be made.

Preparation of surfaces and applying evenly a Tack coat conforming to Clause 503 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), with cationic bituminous emulsion RS1 grade,confirming to IS 8887(latest edition) @ 2.5 kg per 10 sq metres using using primer distributor which shall be self-propelled or towed bitumen pressure sprayer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying 30 mm thick (consolidated thickness) Bituminous Concrete (BC) layer conforming to clause 507 of MoRT&H specifications for road and bridge work (Fifth Revision) including cost of coarse aggregates, fine aggregates, filler, 5.5% binder (paving Bitumen grade VG-30) content by weight of total mix and crushed aggregates of grading 2, Anti Stripping Agent, Warm Mix Additives (quantity, quality and grade as per the approved Job Mix Formula) etc, cleaning and pre-heating of the mineral aggregate, filler & bitumen to the specific temperature, thoroughly mixing with binder of specified bitumen content, Anti Stripping Agent, Warm Mix Additives as per mix design in Hot Mix Plant of 100-120 TPH capacity, carrying the hot mixed materials by means of tipper, trucks, or any other approved and suitable arrangements, laying the hot premixed materials over the prepared surface by means of paver finisher including manual operation as and when required for proper grade, level and camber thorough rolling with power roller 8 to 12 tonnes smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller with necessary hand packing and pinning to give an even surface, including running expense of all plants and machineries, inclusive of proper traffic control during laying to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge, required quality control tests at required interval etc complete in all respects complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for precast (factory casted) cement Concrete kerb stone casted in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate with plain or interlocking joints (as directed), making groove in existing road of desired dimension, placing in erect position Kerb stone in edging and set and jointed in cement mortar 1:4, making good distrubed surface of ground complete all as specified and directed.

EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY M & L Cutting existing 150mm bore cast iron water mains at-least at two places in position for inserting new tee and inserting cast iron tee of size 150mm x 150mm x 80mm including provision of connecting pieces and other fittings as required including run lead/ flanged joints etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing ductile iron pipe having nominal diameter DN 80mm with socket and spigot ends class K-7 including rubber tyton ring joints suitable for ductile iron pipe complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for ductile iron pipe fittings ISI marked like bends, tapers, tail pieces, tee, branch pieces (single/double) any type and angle/radius and straight connecting pieces complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for construction of brick masonary valve pit of size 900 mm x 900mm x 900 mm (Internal size) thickness of walls shall be 23cm in brick work in cement mortar 1:6 internally plastered in cement mortar (1:6) and externally plastered in cement mortar (1:4) over 15cm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 in foundation having 15cm offset around, including 4 cm thick coping in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 on the top of the brick wall and 3mm thick mild steel sheet cover and angle iron frame of size 40 mm x 40mm x 6mm including provn of suitable hold fasts to hold the frame, locking arrangement and lifting handle, duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint, over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified and as directed.

EXTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION Supply, installing, testing and commissioning of Air-break, gang operated, triple pole switch with drop out fuses, outdoor, horizontal mounting type (ISI marked), mechanically operated, mounted on 12 Nos insulators for current rating upto 200 Amps complete with operating mechanism fabricated from 25mm bore GI pipe with steel frame worked from ground level, with locking arrnagments including Godrej pattern 65mm pad locks with two keys, complete suitable for HT 11 KV, 50 Hz AC supply and making necessary electric connections, complete all as directed.

Supply and fixing in truly verticle position, steel tubular swaged pole, type 410 SP-22 (8.5 metre long) complete finial taper plug, bolts, nuts, scerws as specified, CI base plate including drilling holes and painting with two coats of black bituminous paint externally and internally, providing 30cm wide alternate strips with yellow and black synthetic enamal paint upto 1.2m height from ground level and numbering the pole (with black and white paint), undergruound part of the pole shall be painted with black bituminous paint complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Excavation, earthwork, PCC foundation shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply and erecting vertical prestressed concrete pole 11.0 metres long, 152mm x 152mm at top and 152mm x 260mm at bottom class 9 complete including two coats of paint over a coat of primer above ground level, painting the pole with alternate black and yellow paint strip band 30cm long, 5 Nos with synthetic enamel paint etc omplete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- (i) Earthwork and PCC shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) Cross arms shall be measured and paid seperately.

Supplying, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning 120 Sqmm, 3 core, XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) with aluminum conductors, 11 KV grade of , IS 7098 marked, suitable for HT 11 KV(E) system, laid in trenches / ducts / encased in GI pipe / fixed to pole complete all as specified and directed. AIR CONDITIONING WORKS Supply, installation, Testing and Commissioning of water cooled screw chiller package, having actual capacity not less than 230 TR (2 x 115 TR working + 1x115 TR Standby) at specified design condition. The package shall have single screw compressor to meet total AC requirements. The unit shall mainly comprise of Twin Rotary Screw Compressors, Hermetic/Semi-Hermetic type, Horizontal Screw, lsolation Valves for suction and discharge of compressor water cooled condenser, insulated flooded evaporator, integral refrigerant piping & wiring, accessories as required and called for suction Refrigernat cooled motor, starter panel with wye delta starter automatic and safety control mounted in central console microprocessor panel with BMS compatibility and chiller should have modubus RTU Communication Output compatibility & all mounted on a steel frame complete including chilled water and condenser water pumps and piping, induced draft cooling tower, AHUs, supply and return air ducting, electrical panels/cables and all accessories/items complete as per Annexure 'A' to BOQ, list of drawings and specifications and as per under mentioned notes:- NOTES (a) Minimum techinal parameters/requirement to achieve inside design conditions for room/areas of the auditorium bldg are enclosed as per Annexure 'A' to BOQ, particular specifications and drawings mentioned in list of drawings. (b) Contractor shall check the technical parameters keeping in view the inside design conditions as specified/as per building drawings and if these are found correct and acceptable to achieve the required inside conditions the confirmation to this affect shall be rendered in writing with proof check within 30 days form the acceptance of tender. (c) In case any deviation is observed while checking technical parameters w.r.t. capacity of plant, variation in quantity of items or change in specification to achieve the required specified inside condition, the contractor shall provide complete design data comprising of suitable matching equipments and accessories within 30 days from the date of acceptance of tender to GE in order to obtain approval of Accepting Officer prior to execution of work and these changes shall be implemented by the contractor without any financial effect and amount quoted by the contractor shall be final for the purpose of execution of work.

NOTES FOR CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING PLANT 1. This is a turn-key job where the responsibility of the contractor will include Design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of minimum 2 x 115TR, water cooled, scroll chilling machines fitted with hermetically/ semi-hermetically sealed compressors, multi/single circuit chiller, water cooled shell & Tube type condensers, microprocessor based control panel, suitable for R-134 a refrigerant, shell & tube insulated evaporator, expansion device, control mechanism with control cables of appropriate rating and length for interconnecting chiller unit control panel, AHU and Electric control panel suitable capacity for actual cooling capacity The design shall be as per design parameters given in the tender documents and shall include refrigeration unit comprising of compressor, condenser, expansion valve evaporator or chiller and interconnecting refrigerant piping. chilled water pump sets, condenser water pump ,under deck insulation , Air Handling Unit, cooling tower, piping for chilled water , valves, strainers, gauges, ducting arrangement , cables for connection, trays, rubber mat, LT panel, earthing and other connected items required for smooth functioning of plant. 2. The tenderers/bidders shall note that the work of Air Conditioning Plant shall be executed through specialist firm as approved by GE. The following requirements shall also be ensured during execution of the work:- (a) Submission of all documents required according to the contract. (b) Preparation of the design and drawings for all the work within one month of acceptance of tender. The contractors shall be fully responsible for the smooth functioning of the Plant. These designs and drawings, shall be approved by the Accepting Officer. (c) Details of drawings, detailed plant layout with all mechanical and electrical equipments to be installed at various/ different levels at second stage within 10 days from the date of placement of work order. (d) Where specifications for any item of work are not given in MES schedule or particular specifications, specifications as given in relevant Indian Standard or code of practice shall be followed.

NOTES FOR CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING PLANT (e) Tenderers intention is invited to relevant clauses of particular specification. If any provision not covered under Sch ‘A’, Special conditions, particular specifications but mentioned in relevant clause of SSR Part I (2009) and is required for completion of work then same shall be taken into consideration and no extra cost shall be paid to the contractor on this account and in such event decision of Accepting Officer shall be final and binding. (f) Any damage caused to the installation or any part thereof except for the accepted risks as per condition 48 of IAFW-2249 shall be made good by the contractor under his own arrangement as per the specifications given in the contract without any extra cost to the Government. (g) Accepting officer at his discretion may depute an expert for checking the performance of the Air Conditioning Plant. The contractor shall provide all major repairs/ overhauling etc as per the recommendation of expert and the same shall be notified to the GE immediately on occurrence and no extra shall be paid on this account. (h) The contractor shall ensure that the work is maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, procedures and relevant safety codes. (i) The tenderer and the MES as the case may be shall consult with each other and jointly decide on the scheme for protection of the interconnection line(s) and of the facilities at both the ends. All air conditioning equipments installed shall be consistent with the orders of IEM detailed by Accepting Officer. (j) Notwithstanding the provisions of this agreement, the MES will not be responsible for any damage that may occur to the tenderer with the MES system. (k) Charges shall be borne by the contractor for commissioning, testing as well as routine checking. Notwithstanding such checking/ verification in any event, the MES shall not be responsible for any damage caused to the tenderer on account of any mistake in such checking/ verification. (l) All safety measures as per IS provisions and as per laid down procedure of entire Central Air Conditioning Plant shall be the responsibility of the contractor.

NOTES FOR CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING PLANT (m) The yard sticks to regulate RARs payment against Air Conditioning Plant shall be got approved from CWE by the GE after technical check and following procedure shall be adopted :- (i) Stage wise yardstick %age for the Air Conditioning Plant shall be approved by CWE during currency of work. (ii) Contractor shall submit yard stick for Air Conditioning Plant in duplicate to GE within one month of acceptance of tender, including percentage payment to be made for each stage of theAir Conditioning Plant alongwith supporting details i.e detailed estimate, stage wise abstracts etc. (iii) There may be certain changes in yard stick percentages as submitted by the contractor while approving the yardstick for saidAir Conditioning Plant due to market rates of various materials & due to policy of department of with-holding sufficient amount for later stages of the work in Air Conditioning Plant. Contractor shall not have any claim on this account and percentage payment to be made for each stage as approved by the CWE shall be final & binding on the contractor. (n) Warranty: All the air conditioning equipments shall be warranted against any manufacturing/ design/ installation defects for a minimum period of 5 years from certified date of completion. (o) The consolidated rate for Srl No. 148.00, 148.10, 148.20 & 148.30 shall be quoted against Srl No. 148.00 of BOQ.

FABRICATION (a) The panel shall be Indoor type and fabricated out of MS CRCA sheet of 1.6mm thick. The period of completion of this Phase is 11 (Eleven) months and date of commencement of work under this phase shall be immediately after certified date of completon of work under Phase-II.

Note: For the purpose of arriving at lumpsum amount, the amount of credit sch for buildings and other services i.e Sch 'A' section XIII (i.e Rs 49,600.00 shall be deducted from the total amount arrived.
