PART I : STRUCTURAL REPAIR WORKS
Repairs to damaged RCC structural members at all locations/ floors using polymer modified cementatious mortar, for strengthening the existing RCC structural members using acrylic based polymer and comprising the following operations: 1. Breaking cracked / spalled concrete members along the cracks with plaster, including removing and stacking of all unserviceable material at site,simultaneous transportation and disposed at a location in Anushaktinagar as identified by EIC. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in Charge. 2. Exposing and cleaning the reinforcement thoroughly by light tapping / wire brushing of using strong emery paper and finally by acetone /rust remover of Dr. Fixit / Anuvi chemicals / Fosroc or other eqivalent. 3. Applying a coat of polymer and cement slurry in the ratio 1:1 by volume to the reinforcement bars. 4. Polymer required for the work shall be procured by the Agency from approved Manufacturers Like M/s. Astra , M/s. Anuvi, M/s. Apcotex or other approved equivalent manufacturer confirming to technical requirements as below and the invoices/ challans etc to be submitted to EIC for record. Appearance: Milky white Ph- value : 9-10 Specific gravity : 1.055+/-0.005 Solid contents(%w/w)-: 44+/-1 Viscocity at 25 degree C temperature (in sec): 15-20 Testing of the material as per relevant codes at NABL approved third party Lab. is to be done by the Agency for every batch/lot of supply. 5. Bond coat should be applied @ 0.37 ltr./layer/sq.m. 6. Minimum FM of silica sand should be 2.10.
a) Building up with polymer modified cementatious mortar for RCC structural members etc. in layers not exceeding 20 mm in a day (proportion – cement 50 Kg. : Silica sand 125 Kg. : polymer liquid 10 ltrs.) with necessary bond coat (polymer : Cement = 1:1 by volume) for tack coat and also for subsequent layers using polymer including curing, covering the flooring / window with tarpaulins or equivalent covering material to avoid deposition of polymer mortar and cleaning of floor/ windows thoroughly on completion of repair work etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Polymer used for this work in KG shall be measured for payment.
Reinfrocement for reinforced cement concrete at all floors & levels including supplying, cutting, bending, fixing and tying in position with 1.6 mm dia soft drawn annealed binding wire including cost of binding wire, welding, labour etc. complatre all as per specifications and as directed by the Enginer-in-Charge. Note:- Binding wire required for the work will have to be supplied by the contractor & the same will not be measured for payment.
a) With hight yeild strength deformed bars of grade Fe-500D conforming to IS1786-2008.
Cement plastering using factory manufactured pre mix/ ready mix mortar of approved make minimum composition of C:S is 1:4 suitable for internal plastering to wall and ceiling finished smooth over brick walls or concrete surfaces including acrylic based membrane curing of M/s. Anuvi chemicals/ Fosroc/ Dr. Fixit at all floors and levels including scaffolding, removing existing damaged/ worn out plastering and disposing off debris with in colony etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by Enginer-in-Charg.
a) 12 mm thick.
b) 15 mm thick.
Repainting of old painted surfaces with two coats of Oil bound distemper of approved make & shade over two coats of approved primer consist of thoroughly scrapping oil bound distemper/ white wash surface, applying a coat of approved cement primer, filling upthe cracks with approved crack filling compound, applying approved stucco putty to entire surface to fill up crevices, mild depression etc. thoroughly scrapping the surface, applying 2nd coat of approved cement primer over putty work, apply two coats of Oil bound distemper paint including necessary covering material and removal of splashing & droppings from floors, walls including scaffolding, ladder as required & disposing off debris within colony etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Repainting of old painted surfaces with two coats Flat oil paint of approved shade and make over two coats of approved cement primer consist of thoroughly scrapping of all types of old painted surfaces, applying a coat of approved cement primer, filling upthe cracks with approved crack filling compound, applying approved stucco putty to entire surface to fill up crevices, mild depression etc. thoroughly scrapping the surface, applying 2nd coat of approved cement primer over putty work , apply two coats of Flat oil paint including necessary covering material and removal of splashing & droppings from floors, walls including scaffolding, ladder as required & disposing off debris within colony etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Painting old wood/ steel work with two coats of Synthetic enamel paint of approved shade & make over one coat of primer (wood/ steel) including preparing surfaces, through scapping of MS work, filling with putty wherever required, scaffolding & cleaning etc. complete all as per specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and applying two coats of white cement based wall care putty (Average thickness 1.5 mm thick) of approved make over entire surface including filling up the cracks, crevices, depression, holes including sand papering and making surfaces even and smooth dusting/ cleaning, scaffolding, covering the furniture etc with tarpaulins or eqivalent covering materials, cleaning of all surfaces etc. & including removing all loose plaster & disposing off debris outside colony etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and erecting MS scaffolding using H-frame made out of heavy quality pipes in the horizontal and vertical direction including providing cross supports as struts to the scaffolding properly to the building for maintenance/ repair works of external surfaces of buildings as and when required including providing necessary safety belt and helmet to the workers, dismantling the scaffolding and taking back the scaffolding, safety belt and helmet after the repair works are completed including cost of transportation, labours etc. complete all as per specifications and directed by the Enginer-in-Charge. (Note:- The item will be measured for structural repair work outside flat only. e.g. staircase, shaft, chajja, canopy etc.)
Providing & applying asian paint smartcare Damp block white colored coating over wall/ concrete surface including cost of removing existing old paint with putty etc. applying one coat of self priming coat of Asian Paint or equivalent smart care damp block (diluted with water in 1:1 ratio) and applying two coats of AP smart care damp block (diluted with water in 3:1 ratio) etc. complete as per specification & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing random rubble masonry with rough dressed hard stone at all levels and locatios in cement mortar 1:6 including through stone, header stone, bond stone, quoins etc. well packed including filling the interstices with smaller stone chips, striking, raking out joints & finishing the joints including scaffolding, curing etc. all complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.
a) Stones supplied by contractor.
b) Stones supplied by department free of cost.
Raised & Cut pointing to RR masonry wall with cement mortar 1:3 at all levels & location including racking out joints, pointing neately and finishing the joints, curing scaffolding etc. complete all as per specification, drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and fixing structural steel with M.S. angles, flats etc. for fencing, gate at all levels and locations as per design and pattern over masonry wall, or as required at site, including welding with reinforcement in proper level, line & alignment, embedding angle post in RCC (M-30) band properly and including painting the structural steel with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade and make and one coat of approved steel primer, shuttering/ formwork, scaffolding, fabrication, welding etc complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: RCC M30 shall be measured and paid under relevant item.
Supplying, erecting and fixing in position 2 ply , 12 gauge 4 spikes at 100 mm c/c G.I. barbed wire to M.S. angle posts including cost of 6 mm dia G.I.‘J ‘ hooks, Bolts, nuts, washers, staples as required including cost of materials, labour, scaffolding and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved make & shade over a coat of approved metal primer etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and fixing in position G. I. Chain link fencing of 10 gauge and mesh size of 50 mm x 50 mm inluding cutting, wastage, fixing to frame work by full welding and cost of scaffolding, ' J ' hooks, bolts, nuts,washers, staples, 6 mm dia. M.S. fixing rod two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of steel primer of approved make and shade, removal of the existing rusted chain link fencing and deposit the same at directed place etc. complete all as per specifications & as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.
Reinforced Cement Concrete of grade M-30 in foundation, plinth and super structure at all levels and locations conformining to I.S.456-2000 (latest) using 20mm. maximum size down graded stone aggregate including machine mixing, conveying, placing in position, mechanical consolidation, finishing, curing, scaffolding etc. all complete as per specifications and drawings and as directed by the Engineer in Charge, for the following.
a) For all type of Structural/ RCC Elements.
Extra for providing RMC (ReadyMixed Concrete) confirming to IS :4926 (latest) in lieu of conventional RCC items supplied by approved RMC manufactures for all type of structural elements/ RCC elements including transporting, pumping etc. complete as per instruction of the Enginer-in-Charge.
Providing, erecting, fixing in position striking/ removing and cleaning steel/ timber shuttering & centering for form work in foundation plinth and at all levels & locations for all geometrical shapes in plain, curved surfaces of structural/ RCC elements including chamfers, splays, keys, wedges, props, rails, bracings, brackets, cutting holes for pipes etc., providing & applying approved form oil on all surfaces of form work coming in contact with concrete including close hacking of all exposed concrete work after removal of form work, all materials, labour etc. all complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Notes:- i) Area of form work in contact with concrete shall only be measured for payment and stop boards for construction joints will not be measured for payment. ii) The rate of form work shall include all type of structural/ RCC elements and geometric shapes including circular and any other curved surfaces.
Cement concrete of specified grades at all heights, levels, locations & depths for the following works using graded stone aggregate of 20 mm maximum size including necessary form work, machine mixing, transporting, placing in position consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the Engineer in Charge.
Fixing in position available concertina barbed tape coil of 610 mm dia including stretching the coil to 9 m approx and fixing the coil with M.S. galvanized clips between 'U' arms, painting by dipping method the concertina tape coil with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade and make over a coat of approved steel primer etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
