Emergency work of laying stone boulder, boulder crating, ballah, earth filling etc at different locations for coming monsoon and other misc. works in Howrah Division.

A-Non schedule items ( All rates are including GST )

Supplying and driving hard wood ballah piles of sal or similar types of length varying from 5m to 6m and of average diameter 150mm. The rates includes supplying and erecting of 01 derricks, monkey, all other necessary equipments, tools, plants, fuel, labours etc. as required for completion of the work in all respect. The rate also includes application on single layer bitumen on the ballah piles before they driven in to the ground. The ballah shall be driven only when these are passed by the competent authority and driven order is given

Supplying, manufacturing of boulder crate mean/ gabion at site made of 8 SWG GI wire (Size of crate will be 1.0 m x 1.0 m x 1.0 m or 1.0 m x 1.0 m x 5.0 m or as directed by the site 02 engineer). The boulder boxes should be made of 150 x 150 mm (or any size as directed by site Engineer) wire net with 8 SWG GI wire. The rate includes all lead, lift, ascent, descent, Xing of lines, carrying 8 SWG GI wire over bridge/site, cost of 8 SWG GI wire and cutting, bending, binding of 8 SWG GI wire for making of boulder crate and to complete the work in all respect.

"Supply of generator 5 KVA including halogen/tube light etc with including fuel, operator complete in all respect at site during the period of 17.50 Hrs to 05.30 Hrs."

Driving Rail of section 90R/52kg/75 lbs of length 8 mtr. to 10 mtr. The rate should be 04 included labours, cutting of rails (to be supplied by the Railway free of cost), leading of rails to the site of work upto man in distance of 100 mtr. from the unloading site. Supply of all tools & plants, fuel, lift complete Note: Approx. 2/3rd of rail length will be driven inside the earth and payment will be made for the length of rail driven in the earth only.

Supplyand loading in RMC in to any type of wagon of stone boulders having weight of 05 each boulder not less than 30kgs and not not more than 54kgs each to be supplied from different quarry -mines nearest to Railway station of difference location .Rate shall include all lead,lift.ascent,descent and crossing of Railway track and royalty charges etc.

B-USSOR Items ( All rates are including GST )

Laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates of approved size including overlaps at joints, laid with stone boulders, all loose ends to be tied with 4mm galvanised steel wire. Payment for boulders & wire crates to be done extra.

Supplying of stone boulders weighing not less than 35 kg each at specified bridge locations.

Laying Pitching with Stone Boulders supplied by Railway with voids filled with spalls on slopes, laid over prepared filter media including boulder apron laid dry in front of toe of embankment as per drawings and technical specifications. Note: Filter media to be paid under relevant item.

Supplying and filling 50 kg size empty cement polythene bags with Rly. Ballast/moorum/earth/Sand/quarry dust etc. placing the filled bags on the high banks /bridge 04 approaches/nominated place etc. dumping and spreading at the nominated locations to profile under block period with all contractor's labour, tools, plants, loading, unloading, filling, spreading including all lead/lift etc. complete and as directed by the Engineer in charge at site including crossing of track where necessary.
