Note : (i) On completion of cleaning of tank, date of cleaning to be marked/ written clearly on tank surface in an accessible location with letters or figures n.exc 5 cm high viz (as per example) "TANK CLEANED ON……….". "NEXT DUE ON ............................" (ii) Cleaning of tank to be carried out in accordance with the schedule published for the purpose of cleaning of tank. (iii) During cleaning of the tanks, any vegetation and growth on the roof slab shall also be removed by the Contractor and the quoted rates are deemed to include for the same.

Supply and fixing in repair Ball valves high pressure of PTMT 20 mm bore with epoxy coated Aluminium rod & high density plastic ball screwed for iron pipe and fixed. (Minimum weight - 210 gms), screwed for iron pipe etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for concrete bed , plain cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2 for 300mm pipe, bed to drain pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested, in complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in repair 20 mm bore Gun metal gate or globe valve with iron wheel head screwed both ends for iron pipe complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for reinforced concrete pipes, class NP2, 300 mm bore, laid and jointed with collars complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Cutting out cracks to V-section in existing roofs or terracing, cleaning out and filling solidly with a hot mixture of bitumen and clean dry sand 1:1 (by weight) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for water proofing treatment on RCC roof etc. comprising with the following operation & as specified herein below:- (a) Taking down existing old tarfelt, bituminous compound including cleaning & removing debris to a distance exc 100 m n.exc.250m. (b) M&L 25 thick cement concrete type B0 1:2:4 ( 12.5 mm graded aggregate) finished even and smooth. (c) M&L for 15 mm thick screed bed in 1:6 finished even and smooth. (d) Preparing & cleaning of fully dried cement plastered surface. (e) Applying one coat of cold bituminous primer to the plastered surface @ 0.25 litres per sqm conforming IS-3384. (f) A layer of APP based polymeric membrane membrane 3mm thick (minimum) weighing 3.5 kg per sqm reinforced with polyster non woven fabric (weighing not less than 160 gms/sqm) shall be applied over bituminous primer as specified above. Application of polymeric membrane shall be by torch application. The over lap shall be minimum 100 mm on transverse direction and 75 mm in longitudinal direction. (g) One coat of aluminium paint over APP membrane @0.11Kg/Sqm. Note:- Prior to execution of the APP Membrane works, leak proof test shall be done by ponding water on roof slab to minimum depth of 25 mm. The entire roof slab shall be flooded with water for 48 hours. The necessary barrier shall be made to make feasible to stagnate water for 48 hours on roof slab.
