Amount

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth and getting out as in hard/dense soil for laying of earthing strip, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in of soil including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layer not exceeding 25 cm, complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at al level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix or lay in trenches/ wall copper strip of size 25 mm x 3 mm as earth continuity conductor drawn through protection conduit of size 32 mm dia bore and accessories for protection of earthing strip complete all as specified and as directed.including takeing down Note: Conduit pipe shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant item.

Supply and laying of 32mm bore GI tubing (Light grade) with all fittings laid in trenches for cable protection, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brass nut, bolts and washers for jointing of copper strip 25 x 3 mm complete all as specified and as directed.including taking down, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Porcelain insulator with complete fixing arrangement fixing on wall to protect earthing strip, including taking down, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hex. head screw.including takeing down, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down unserviceable Earthing pit and M&L for Chemical Earthing complete with copper earth plate of size 900mm x 600mm x 5mm thick burried in ground vertically to a deapth not less than 5 m below normal ground level with top edge of plate at a depth not less than 4.25 m below normal ground level with a bottom layer magnisium sulphate of 150 mm thick, earth plate surrounded with graphite powder, vegetable soil mixture mixed with bentonite in equal proportion, charcoal and common salt in equal proportion around and 150 mm above the plate and 150 mm thick magnisium sulphate as top layer and the remaining portion filled with compacted black cotton/ loomy soil and connected with copper strip 25mm x 3mm duly brazed and by means of bolts, nut and washers up to 7.5 m length and connected to earthing test point, GI pipe light grade 32 mm bore for earth lead protection and GI pipe medium grade 20 mm bore for watering with funnel and wire mesh all as shown in electrical Plate No-3 of MES SSR Part-I 2009 and specified and testing on completion including provision of earth pit including RCC 1:2:4 cover slab 50 mm thick with re-inforcement of 8 mm TMT bars @ 100mm c/c both directions and PCC chamber with PCC 1:3:6 type C2 including excavation and earth work, disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m, complete all as specified and directed.

Notes: (i) The lenght of the copper strip beyond 7.5 m will be measured and paid seperately. (ii) All joint of copper Strip shall be of brazing only. (iii) Earthing is to be done in the presence of the Engineer-in-charge. (iv) Test result of earthing to be submitted by the contractor for all earthing pits. (v) The contractor shall give guarantee for maintenance earth resistance of less than 1 ohm for a period of 05 (Five) years after certified date of completion and shall deposit security deposit of Rs 2000/- per earthing pit for a period of five years. (vi) Failing to maintain earthing pit result less than 1 Ohm, New earthing pit to be provided by the contractor with out any extra cost. (vii) Necessary earth work excavation in any type of strata, returning filling and making good the surrounding area complete. Make-Vijetha Earthing/JMV or Equivalent as approved by GE.

Taking down existing geyser and handing over to to the AGE E/M sub division store and supply and fix 5 star rated new geyser of 25 Ltrs capacity, high grade mild steel single welded storage tank, high grade heating element -incology 800, high grade glass line coating inside the tank and element, PUF insulation, high grade themostart, multi function valve, earth leaking protection device including suitable length of flexible connection pipes for geyser and anchor bolts, complete all as specified and directed. Make: Havells Model No : GHWASESWH025 or equivalent to Racold/Bajaj/ Pearl etc.

Taking down existing geyser and handing over to to the AGE E/M sub division store and supply and fix 5 star rated new geyser of 50 Ltrs capacity, high grade mild steel single welded storage tank, high grade heating element -incology 800, high grade glass line coating inside the tank and element, PUF insulation, high grade themostart, multi function valve, earth leaking protection device including suitable length of flexible connection pipes for geyser and anchor bolts, complete all as specified and directed. Make: Havells Model No : GGHWAMESWH050 or equivalent to Racold/Bajaj/ Pearl etc.

M&L for Sub main wiring complete with two runs of 4.0 Sqmm single core PVC insulated FRLS cable, 1100 volts grade, multi-stranded copper conductor cable with one run of 4.0 Sqmm single core, PVC insulated FRLS cable, 1100 volts grade, multi-stranded copper conductor cable as earth continuity conductor, drawn through and including suitable size of non-metallic rigid PVC conduit and conduit accessories concealed in any type of wall including stone masonry, floors / fixed to ceiling etc, complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: Two runs of 4.0 sqmm cable conductor, one run of 4.0 sqmm earth continuity conductor cable and one run of PVC conduit shall be measured as one unit length.including taking down sub main wiring.

Supply and fix MCB distribution board sheet metal powder painted Single pole & Neutral encloser with a two pin and earth plug and socket, one single pole MCB of 30 Amps complete including taking down existing DB with MCB, complete all as specified and directed. Make-Havells/Legrand/Schneider
