Supply and fixing of cool roof paint for GE (AF) Chakeri Kanpur (i) Supply and fixing of two coats of at least 200 microns thick eco friendly acrylic based elastomeric flexible heat reflective and insulative exterior coating for cooling of roof topSolar reflective Index (SRI) 126 or above tested as per ASTM E 1980 (with solar reflectance and Thermal Emittance tested as per ASTM C 1549 and ASTM D 1371 respectively). (ii) VOC less than 1g/ ltr, as per ASTM D 3960 and shold have Excellent resistance to transmission of ponded water up to 2.5 bar of water for 7 days along with water absorption % should be less than 1 as per IS: 101 (p7/Sec1) with ability to resist Heat at least by 125 degrees as per IS101: (p7/Sec3) 1990 and should also be Resistant to Ammonia solution, sodum nitrate, Sodum hydroxide along with water and soap solution as per IS 101 (P7/Sec3) 1990. (iii) Manufacture should give guarantee that coating should be Heat reflective and heat resistant in nature up to 125 degree and should not get fade away and coating film should have anti-graffiti property in it. (iv) It has to be applied as per aesthetics & laminate it with Nano- modified composite cross linking polymeric, based dust and water repellant coating having transparent & glossy finish at the existing & painting surface with the held of roller/spray/brush & should hve a of 20-30 micron thickness (v) Coating should be fast drying,anti graffiti,scratch resistant, and should have self cleaning & easy to clean property wit excellent weather stability and DPR (Dirt Pick up ratio) after removing of exiting paint with paint remover along with repair of existing wall & roof. (vi) OEM of Cool Roof Paint shall be an authorised/approved manufacture as per GoI Instructions. (vii) The coating thickness and the methodology of application shall strictly as per manufacturer's specifications and as approvedby engineer-in -Charge. (viii) Surface preparation includes cleaning with metal wire brush to remove all dust, fungus etc, washing with water all complete. (ix) The contractor shall give guarantee for the performance of SRI for the period till expiry of liability and also the durability of coating all complete as per direction of Engineer-in - Charge. (x) Product guarantee period for Eight years shall be submitted in form of certificate by the applicator
