COMPREHENSIVE MAINTENANCE OF EXTERNAL ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION NETWORK WATER SUPPLY DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM VARIOUS EARTHING INFRASTRUCTURE AND OTHER WISE WATER SUPPLY WORKS

Material and labour for Testing of earth resistance value from earthing pit test terminal point and write in/ on existing identification board complete all as specified and as directed.

: The following items are deemed to be inclusive of quoted rate :- (i) The above job shall be carried out by a trained technician having ITI in electrical and well known regarding earthing test. Documantary proof of the education of tradesman shall be produced, before commencement of work.

(ii) The aforsesaid test will be carried out in presence of user and MES represnetative. (iii) Two Party (consisting 2 x 1 No. Technician with 2 x 1 No. Helper) will report every Morning at 9 AM to JE E/M for Daily earth testing.

(v) Earth Resistance Tester will be provided by the Contractor. (Tester should be caliberated from Authorised Company/ Lab).

(vi) Contractor will be responsible for pouring of water in the Earth Pits Weekly at their own arrangement with Water Tanker, etc. (water will be provided by the contractor at his own arrangement and nothing extra will be admissible).

(viii) Contractor will be responsible for marking of Earth check date and due date on existing Plate with paint as specified by Engineer-in-Charge.

(ix) Contractor will be responsible for cleaning of bushes and grass all around upto 1.50 Metre Area of existing Earth Pit with tightening of Strip.

Material and labour for fixing earth indicators made out of 3 mm thick MS sheet of size 200mm x 300mm duly fixed in MS angle iron 25mmx25mm of 450 mm long to be fixed to ground by means and including neceaary cement concrete and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete, writing earth reading and connected items like palnting of panel etc, and necessary excavation and earth work including taking down old complete all as specified and as directed.

Repairing and maintenance of old existing earth pit by taking out carefully earth plate, watering pipe, earth lead protection pipe and re-buried the same after removing sludge from the plate & pipes including re-connection/brazing the plate and strip, whichever is required at site (Earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below normal ground level ) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level,complete all as specified and directed including PCC 1:3:6 type C1 pit with cover of RCC 1:2:4 type B1,reinforced with welded steel wire fabric not less than 4 kg per sqmtrwith handle andangle iron frame,watering arrangment with 20 mm bore GI medium grade pipe ISI marked, GI funnel with GI mesh,filling with mixture of commen salt and charcoal,necessary excavation, refilling, removing away soil and earth work in any type of soil including test point, testing and commissioning complete all as specifed and as directed. Note : GI Funnel, brazing, mixture of salt/char coal/MgSO4 shall be measured and paid separately under releavant items.

Taking downn unsv funnel of any type and size Supply and fixing in repair GI funnels for earthing complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Powder Earthing Backfill Compound, Grade Standard for improvement earthing resistivity and to increase the absorption of moisture around the earthing electrode complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for magnesium sulphate (MgSO4) for improvement earthing resistivity complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Brazing of copper/Aluminium/GI strip for continuity complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only common salt commercial in trenches to improve the ER value of existing earth pits.

Supply only charcoal dust/Breeze in trenches to improve the ER value of existing earth pits

Taking down existing GI strip 25x3mm thick as earthling lead with its accessories and re fixing to wall/roofs etc. drawn in conduit/GI pipe etc all as specified and directed. Note:- Unite rate is deemed to be included for old broken insulators/ clamps replace with new insulators of existing size from site and making good disturbed surfaces of floors/walls/ceiling etc complete all as directed.

Water tubes of size of 20 mm bore medium grade ISI marked galvanized with all fittings such as bend, elbow, socket, tee etc and fixed complete to wall and ceilings or laid in floors including taking down old unserviceable one, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 60x60cmx3.15mm buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 meters deep below ground level) with top dege of the plate not less than 1.5 meters below normal ground level, connected to 20X3mm copper strip as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of copper all as shown in elctrical plate No 3 connected to earthing test point including excavation/ earth work in any type of strata, removal of surplus excavated material, GI pipe for watering and funnel, PCC 1:3:6 type C1 chamber with RCC 1:2:4 type B1 in cover slab with GI protection pipe but all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. all as specified including testing on completion and taking down old earthing material.

Copper strip 20 x 3mm thick as earthing lead fixed to wall/roofs etc including taking down existing one all as directed. NOTE : All Joints should be joined by Exothermic Welding or Brazing.

Supply and fixing in replacement of aluminium strip 25x3mm fixed with epoxy based insulator for down conductor air terminal network including drilling two Nos holes at each joint, one set of lead washers between strips, two sets GI nut and bolt, gutties, screws etc all as specified and as directed .

Supply and fixing in repair test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos. 8mm dia 25mm longhex. head screw all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 m below ground level connected to and including galvanised earth strip of size 32x6 mm (up to 7.5 mtr length) and GI pipe 40 mm light grade for protection of GI earth strip by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made out of galvanised iron and connected to earth test point as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-1-2009 and as specified or indicated and testing on completion including excavation and earth work any in type of strata available at site, PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 for earth chamber, precast RCC slab 50mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 reinforced with welded steel wire fabric (xpm) weight not less the (4kg/sqm) funnel with GI watering pipe of 20mm bore medium grade, wire nuts and lugs complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Note for item No. 22:- (a) All Joints should be joined by Exothermic Welding or Brazing. (b) After completion of work earthing shall be tested by the contractor in presence of Engineer-in-Charge, User and proper record shall be maintained duly signed by all concerned. (c) Earth resistance tester shall be provided by the contractor. It should be caliberated from authorised company/ lab. (d) After testing if desired earth resistance of less than 5 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is obtained.

Supply and fixing in replacement of GI strip 32x6mm fixed with epoxy based insulator for down conductor air terminal network including drilling two Nos holes at each joint, one set of lead washers between strips, two sets GI nut and bolt, gutties, screws etc all as specified and as directed .

Attending, Repairing/restoring of electric power supply in the AF stn East area, after identifying fault in HT 11 KV or LT 415 volt system, RMU,VCB, LT Panels, two/ four pole structure, transformers, Over head lines in any section or circuit, including checking of insulators, lightning arresters, GODs, LT Panel Boards and all electrical accessories and making it serviceable in all respect including replacement of nut, bolt, washers and minor parts/spares, insulation tapes and cable sockets of any size.

Note for item No 25 : (i) The above work also include checking, detection and rectifcation of LT/HT UG Cable faults at AF Area as and when directed by Engineer-in-Charge/ JE (E/M).

(ii) Hiring of cable fault detector to detect exact location of LT/HT UG cable fault deemed to be inclusive of quoted rate.

(iii) Major items required to be replaced/repaired will be measured under relevant items of schedule.

(iv) Excavation and earth work if required will be measured separately.

(v) Complaints will be given in person or through telephone by AGE/JE E/M round the clock (ie 24 Hrs x7 Days).

(vi) In case of minor defect, entire job shall be completed within 06 hrs from the time of registration of complaint, failing which penalty charges @ Rs. 300/- per hours shall be recovered.

(vii) The transportation/ T&P required for the work shall be arranged by the contractor and no extra cost will be paid for the same.

(viii) In case of major defect, the period for attending of complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC by accessing extent of repair required through joint inspection by Engineer-in-Charge and authorised service agent of the equipment at the site. If complaint is not rectified within the stipulated period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs. 500/- per hours shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor.

(ix) Note that penalty is exclusively other then the condition 56 of IAFW-2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforce above as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt. The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final and binding.

Material and labour for Servicing to LT panels/Feeder pillar boxes comprising MCCBs/change over switches metering eqpt etc. as incomming/outgoing controls including cleaning, greasing the hinges, locking arrangement, checking the seviceability of individual items, identification of the defective parts replacing the wornout fastners, insulators, rubber door beadings, gakets etc all as directed Note:- (1) Unserviceable parts replaced if any shall be measured & paid seperately under respective items.

Material and labour for Removing the existing hinges by cutting and supply and fixing of new hinges all as per existing size

Rewiring the LT cubical type panel by means of PVC insulated multi strandard copper wire of existing size including replacing unserviceable connectors, fastners etc,. etc after taking out the old unserviceable wiring all as directed.

Supply and fix in repair the MCCB of capacity 160 A to 200 A, 415 Volts 4 pole with breacking capacity 36 KA in LT panel boards / feeder pillar boxes including disconnecting and removing existing from electric connection including necessary connected fastners, burnt cables, accessories like spreader ,cages etc all as per site requirement/existing make/model,all as specifed and as directed.

Material and labour for Painting of LT panel board/feeder pillar boxes with two coats of synthetic enamel spray paints over a coat of red oxide primer matching existing colour after scrapping the old paint by means of emery paper and cleaning with thinner including necessary markings/sign writing etc all as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply & Fix Aluminum lugs suitable for UG cable of size 3 1/2 / 4 core 16 to 35 sqmm including respective size of lugs for the neutral cable.

Supply & Fix Aluminum lugs suitable for UG cable of size 3 1/2 core 50 sqmm to 95 sqmm including respective size of lugs for the neutral cable.

Material and Labour for making straight through joint with suitable jointing kit consisting water proof adhesives for UG cable of size 3 1/2 / 4 core 25 to 35 sqmm.

Material and Labour for making straight through joint with suitable jointing kit consisting water proof adhesives for UG cable of size 3 1/2 core 50 to 95 sqmm.

Material and labour for cutting tree branches below, top and around the LT OH line and clearing not less than two mtrs around the line and keeping the line clearance through out the contract period by trimming the branches repeatedly as many as times required depending on site requirement complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.

Material and Labour for two coats of synthetic enamel painting of old LT PCC / RCC/ PSC poles at the bottom from ground level towards upwards up to 2 m height with black and yellow strips each 15 cm width on the poles Including marking of pole numbers using white synthetic enamel paint over black colour base .

Supply and fix in repair bracket for street light fitting made out of 40 mm dia light grade GI tubing bent to required shape 1.5m long including necessary GI clamps, nuts bolts and washers and fixing to the pole complete including taking down old or Old U/S bracket from the pole as directed.

Note :- Excavated approved soil shall be ribbed by using sieve to separate composite particles etc. as per IS and refilling in trenches before laying of cable 8 CM and 15 CM after laying of cable. This is than gently punned down to a depth of 10 cm above the top of upper most cable (ii) For the purpose of measurement only punned thickness only will be considered for payment.

Material and labour for well burnt class ‘B’ bricks as mechanical protection to under ground cables laying with length of the bricks equal to the width of the trench complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and laying of GI pipe light grade for cable protection of size 80mm bore complete with fitting complete including taking down unserviceable one all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.

Material and labour for Cutting existing road/PCC/Drain for laying of GI or any type of pipe including necessary earth work, excavation exc 600mm depth but not exc 1mtr depth, wide 800mm including making good existing surface with 150 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 69 :- The tenderer shall take into consideration for following points while quoting rate for this item and the unit rate is deemed to be inclusive for :-

(i) Earth work excavation in any type of soil

(ii) Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

(iii) Removing excavated material to out side MD land

(iv) Laying of any type/any bore of pipe in trenches including taking down any description. Supply of pipe will be measured and paid separately

(v) 150 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in road to make good existing disturbed surfaces.

Material and labour for 3 ½ core 185 Sqmm XLPE insulated heavy duty electric cable with aluminium multi stranded conductor 1100 volts grade served with an inner sheathing of PVC tape armoured with galvanised steel wire or tape and overall sheather laying in trenches/cable ducts, fixed to wall/pole complete including taking down unserviceable one all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for painting of steel tubular pole of any description including painting of all MS clamps, cross arms on poles with one coat of superior aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer after and including necessary preparation of surfaces and painting of alternate strip with black and white synthetic enamelled paint strip 05 Nos each of 30 cm height up to 1.5 mtr above PCC benching/coping and marking of pole No etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge .

Disconnecting of burnt/ damaged cables from panels/ junction boxes etc, cutting out the burnt out ends, making new end joints by supply and fixing new aluminium lugs/ insulation tapes etc and reconnecting using new nuts/ bolts/ washer etc and restoring three phase and neutral in the junction box complete all as directed for the cable size from 240 sqmm to 300 Sq mm 3.5 core of LT underground armoured cables. Note :- Earth work required for extending the incoming/ outgoing cable in junction box/ panel board etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted.

Supply and laying of GI pipe light grade for cable protection of size 100mm bore complete with fitting complete including taking down unserviceable one all as in specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.

Material and labour for 3 ½ core 70 Sqmm XLPE insulated heavy duty electric cable with aluminium multi stranded conductor 1100 volts grade served with an inner sheathing of PVC tape armoured with galvanised steel wire or tape and overall sheather laying in trenches/cable ducts, fixed to wall/pole complete including taking down unserviceable one all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 3 ½ core 25 Sqmm XLPE insulated heavy duty electric cable with aluminium multi stranded conductor 1100 volts grade served with an inner sheathing of PVC tape armoured with galvanised steel wire or tape and overall sheather laying in trenches/cable ducts, fixed to wall/pole complete including taking down unserviceable one all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing ON LOAD change over switch 4 pole 400 A with sheet metal enclosure in LT panel boards / feeder pillar boxes including disconnecting and removing existing defective item from electric circuit including necessary connected fasteners, burnt cables, accessories etc all as per site requirement/existing make/model all as specified and as directed. Disconnecting of burnt/ damaged cables from panels/ junction boxes etc, cutting out the burnt out ends, making new end joints by supply and fixing new aluminium lugs/ insulation tapes etc and reconnecting using new nuts/ bolts/ washer etc and restoring three phase and neutral in the junction box complete all as directed for the cable size from 120 sqmm to 185 Sq mm 3.5 core of LT underground armoured cables. Note :- Earth work required for extending the incoming/ outgoing cable in junction box/ panel board etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted.

Supply install test and commissioning of Bus bar box out door type totally enclosed dust and vermin proof floor mounting with hinged doors and locking arrangement front and back fabricated out of 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet including powder coated paint finish including all accessories, provision independent removeable MS plates for fixing cable glands for all suitable for 300sqmm X3.5 core UG cable incoming and out going cables and complete control wiring with 2.5 sqmm copper conductor including necessary PCC foundation complete all specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (1) Rates deemed to be included for suitable lugs and glands for incoming and out going of LT UG cable. Supply and fix in repair of LED street light 45 Watt fitting, environmental friendly long life, made up of pressure die cast aluminium housing with mid power LED as lighting source and PC cover having TOP Opening separate driver compartment with IP66 protection and impact resistance of IK07.

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of maintenance free chemical earthing system comprising 17mm dia copper bonded rod 3 mtr long horizontally pre welded T-terminal rod with provision for connection size of 50 x 150mm long, 6mm thickness with equal space either side, with 12mm dia hole of 02 numbers each on either side of the terminal clamp with 250 microns (average) coating thickness, tested and certified by CPRI India alongwith 50 Kg earth energizer compound and 10 litres earth resistance reducing liquid. The earthing energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be tested as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTM G57-06, CI 3.4 A by any NABL accredited lab. The above mentioned rod shall be installed in 4-6 inch bore, 12 feet depth with a distance of minimum 3 meters between each installation including taking down existing one all as directed. Make : Model HTSP 317 of safeTrode or equivalent in OBO Betterman/ FURSE/ERICO.

The quoted rate is deemed to be included the following :- (i) Prior to installation of maintenance free chemical earthing, soil resistivity test to be carried out at the location where earthing work to be done in presence of Engr-in- Charge/JE (E/M),user and the report has to submit to Garrison Engineer with recommendation of manufacturer, if required additional interconnection of earthing (not more than 04 number of earthing) to achive earth result less then 1 Ohms. The arrangement done for soil resistivity testing and submission of report with recommendation deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(ii) The description/ size/ qty of items mentioned in above are for indicating only however qty/ size may vary at site condition to maintain the earth resistance 1 ohm. The contractor shall quote rate by considering all factors.

(iii) Rate of earth energizer compound of 25 Kg of 02 bags and earth resistance reducing liquid 10 litre per cane for each pit deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(iv) Resistivity of earth energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be certified by any NABL accredited lab carried out as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTMG57-06, CI-3.4A and the certificate of same shall be submitted by the contractor before commencement of work.

(v) Earth enhancing material should not leach into the adjacent soil or underground water channels and its PH valve should be in neutral range complete all as specified and as directed. It should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete.

(vi) Copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm should be fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end ( copper strip will be measured and paid separately).

(vii) Testing of earth shall be carried out in presence of departmental and user representative and report shall be submitted to Garrison Engineer duly signed by all concern.

(viii) Earth resistance tester will be provided by the contractor. Tester should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab.

(ix) Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by the contractor in presence of Engr-in-charge, user and proper record shall be maintened duly signed by all concerned. After testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt. till desired result is obtained.

(x) The contractor shall given a written guarantee of minimum three years for maintaining the earth resistance less than 1 Ohm after certified date of completion.

(xi) No further maintenance or periodic watering or recharge shall be required in earthing during its guarantee period of over 03 years in all type of soil including soft/ disintegrated or hard rock.

(xii) During the guarantee period, if earth resistance is not maintained less than 1 ohm the contractor has to redo or rectify at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is mainained.

(xiii) A security deposit of value equal to 2.5 % of the rate quoted for chemical earthing per each earthing shall be retained from payment due to the contractor for the guarantee period.

(xv) The connection clamp shall be permanentlly welded to the copper bounded rod to avoid any kind of connectivity loss,.The pre-welded copper bounded rod shall not need any additional clamp for termination.

(xvi) The acceptable earth resistance at earth busbar/ test point shall not be more than 0.1 ohm.

(xvii) The contractor shall submit CPRI India certified document for copper bonded rod to ensure genuity of material.

(xviii) Sign board of mild steel 2 mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide Zinc chrome primer showing result of earthing should be fixed near the earth pit after completion as directed by engr -in- charge.

(xix) Earth work such as auguring and making good the surrounding area shall carried out in any type of soil.

Material and labour for Copper strip 20 x 3mm thick as earthing lead fixed to wall/roofs etc including taking down existing one all as directed. NOTE : All Joints should be joined by Exothermic Welding or Brazing.

Material and labour for Earth pit cover made of heavy duty poly plastic of high grade polypropylene tested and certified by any NABL accredited lab for load bearing capacity not less than 9.2 tonnes with top dia not less than 250mm, bottom dia not less than 330 mm and height not less than 260 mm dia for each electrode pit complete including taking down all as specified and directed. Make : Model SEPC 250 of SAFE TRODE/ Electrogrip Model/ EGTEK3LC of ISG Global or equivalent in OBO Betterman/ ERICO. Note :- The contractor shall submit load bearing capacity certificate from the manufacturer.

Rectification of existing defective flanged joints with rubber or fibre gasket complete with necessary nuts, bolts and washers for 80 mm dia GI/DI/MS pipes complete all as directed. Note:- a) quoted rates are inclusive of cutting of GI/DI/MS Pipes, jointing materials and preparation of new flanged sockets and refixing the same at existing place. (b) Necessary excavation shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of BOQ

Attending day to day water supply service related complaints like choking of rising main pipes of buildings, blockage in control valves/ float valves/ pipe fittings, etc, applying necessary engineering efforts like dismantle of pipes and fittings to clean and remove blocking objects, descaling of pipes, re-fixing of pipes on wall, etc to restore the proper flow of water to service tanks all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note for item No 116:- (a) The contractor has to attend above mentioned job in any location of entire Air Force Stn Jalahalli East.

(b) The service tanks are positioned on roof top of multi storied buildings upto three storey. Contractor is responsible to ensure that the labour employed should be equipped with safety items like industrial helmet, safety belt, extensible ladder of 40 feet length, plumbing and cuttings tools, etc.

(c) The cost of rethreading of GI pipes of 25mm dia and adding of new GI nipple of suitable length after rethreading is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(d) Due to shortage of water in the station, the repair work and testing required under this item need to be carried out during water supply distribution hours i.e. 5:30 AM to 7:30 AM. Nothing extra shall be permitted in this regard.

(e) The cost of repair to the damages of cemented surfaces/ external finishes/ metal clamps of rising pipes are also deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(f) In case of any delay in attending the complaint more than 6 hrs after handing over routine/urgent complaints, the contractor shall be liable to pay the penalty as described in penalty clause given here as under.

(g) If the delay is more then 06 hrs period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs 100/- per job shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. Please note that this penalty is exclusively other then the condition 56 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforce above as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt.

(j) The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final and binding.

Supply and fix PVC water storage tank cover suitable for 500 to 1000 ltrs capacity tank with locking arrangement complete including taking down of existing one all as specified and directed

Supply and fix Rotational moulded polythene water storage tank of 500 Ltrs capacity (three layer white colour) cylinderical vertical with closed top including 3 Nos GI check nuts and tank nipple of 25mm bore for inlet and outlet, 25mm bore ball valves high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod & high density plastic ball hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR part -I including taking down of old unserviceable tank complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of valve pit chamber for sluice/gate valve of 50/80/100/150/200/ size by removing mud/ grass/ sludge/ other waste materials from the chamber and from surroundings upto 1mtr distance, carryout petty cement repairs with cement mortar 1:4, apply one coat of white wash on cemented surfaces and one coate of synthetic paint on steel surfaces complete to make an operator friendly valve chamber complete as specified and directed. Note :- Periodicity and locations of valve chambers will be given as per requirement by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Making arrangement to flush out the existing pipe line of any type upto 50mm bore and upto 100m length, applying 4.5 N/sqmm pressure to remove scalings/ sludges/ other blocking materials to make smooth flow of water including testing all as specified and directed.

Making arrangement to flush out the existing pipe line of any type 63 to 100 mm bore and upto 100m length, applying 4.5 N/sqmm pressure kg/sq cm pressure to remove scalings/ sludges/ other blocking materials to make smooth flow of water including testing all as specified and directed.

Making arrangement to flush out the existing pipe line of any type 110 to 150mm bore and upto 100m length, applying 4.5 N/sqmm pressure kg/sq cm pressure to remove scalings/ sludges/ other blocking materials to make smooth flow of water including testing all as specified and directed.

Making arrangement to flush out the existing pipe line of any type 160 to 200 mm bore and upto 100m length, applying 4.5 N/sqmm pressure kg/sq cm pressure to remove scalings/ sludges/ other blocking materials to make smooth flow of water including testing all as specified and directed.

Note for item 130 to 133 :- (i) The Contractor is deemed to arrange necessary tools and equipments, removing or alteration of fittings from existing pipe lines, arragement of plugging devices, etc to build up specified pressure required to wash out the pipes. This will be inclusive in quoted rate. (ii) Excavation and earth work required will be measured and paid seperately. (iii) The flushing out will be carried out with fresh filled water of well only duly chlorinated with specified sodium hypochlorite solution to disinfect the pipe lines from all pathogens and Coliform organisms.This will be inclusive in quoted rate.

Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth and getting out for laying pipeline etc in soft/ loose soil all as specified and as directed.
