REPAIR REPLACEMENT TO AREA DRAINAGE SYSTEM AND RAIN WATER HARVESTING PITS UNDER AGE BR-II AT ITARANA CANTT, ALWAR

Demolition of cement concrete, unreinforced, in ground floors and paving, not exceeding 15 cm thickness, whether below or above ground level, including breaking, getting out, sorting out serviceable materials, if any, and removing unserviceable materials/debris to low-lying area/dumping ground as directed within a lead not exceeding 2 km, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brickwork or stone/boulder masonry built in cement mortar or cement-lime mortar, including quoins, arches, pillars and the like, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles, including carefully sorting and stacking serviceable stone for reuse and removing unserviceable materials/debris to low-lying area/dumping ground as directed within a lead not exceeding 2 km, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position, including cutting reinforcement as necessary to facilitate demolition, getting out, sorting and stacking serviceable materials, if any, and removing unserviceable materials/debris to low-lying area/dumping ground as directed within a lead not exceeding 2 km, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Reinforcement recovered shall be dealt with as specified in the contract/Schedule of Credit, where applicable.

M&L for walling of random rubble stone masonry, uncoursed, well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted, built in cement mortar 1:4, including necessary quoins, jambs, through/bond stones and incidental work, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per preceding item above but except stone. Note: Old serviceable stone retrieved from demolition of stone/boulder masonry shall be selected, cleaned and reused in the work. Rate shall include handling, sorting, cleaning and conveying the recovered stone from stack to the place of incorporation, complete all as specified and directed.

Extra over stone walling for hammer dressing to face stones and dressing of face beds and joints, with maximum depression on face from a straight edge held against the dressed surface not exceeding 20 mm, in lime or sandstone work, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brickwork with sub-class ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 metre mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:4, including all necessary bonding, plumbing, levelling, raking out joints where required and curing, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster from brick or stone walls etc., including raking out joints, hacking surfaces for key, scrubbing down with water and removing debris to the place directed, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on stone masonry surfaces or surfaces other than fair faces of brick masonry/concrete, finished even and smooth without using extra cement, including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down, watering, curing and making good around openings, corners and edges, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 10 mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 on stone masonry surfaces or fair faces of brick masonry, finished even and smooth without using extra cement, including raking out joints, hacking for key where required, scrubbing down, watering and curing, complete all as specified and directed.
