SUB HEAD I - EARTH WORKS

Boring, providing and installing bored cast-in-situ reinforced cement concrete piles of grade M-25 of specified diameter and length below the pile cap, to carry a safe working load not less than specified, excluding the cost of steel reinforcement but including the cost of boring with bentonite solution and temporary casing of appropriate length for setting out and removal of same and the length of the pile to be embedded in the pile cap etc. by percussion drilling using Direct mud circulation (DMC) or Bailer and chisel technique by tripod and mechanical Winch Machine all complete, including removal of excavated earth with all its lifts and leads (length of pile for payment shall be measured up to bottom of pile cap). Note: Truck Mounted rotary/TMR/Tubewell boring machine shall not be used.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means ( Hydraulic excavation)/ manual means over areas (exceeding 30cm in depth. 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth, lead upto 50m and lift upto 1.5 m, as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Centering and shuttering including strutting and propping etc.and removal of form for :

Brick work 7cm thick with 1st class common burnt clay F.P.S ( non modular ) bricks in cement motar 1:3 (1cement:3 coarse sand) in superstructure above plinth level and upto floor five level.

Providing wood works in frames of doors, windows, clerestory windows & other frames, wrought framed & fixed in position with hold fast lugs or with dash fastener of required dia and length ( hold fast lugs or dash fastener shall be paid for separately : Local best quality Uningthou wood

Providing and fixing panelled or panelled and glazed shutters for doors, windows and clerestory windows including ISI marked M.S butt hinges bright finished of required size with necessary screws, excluding panelling which will be paid for separately, all complete as per direction of Engineering-in-charge: Local best quality teak wood 35mm thick shutters

Providing & laying vitrified tiles in floor in different sizes ( thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) with water absorption less than .08% and conforming to IS:15622 of approved brand & manufacturer, in all colours and shades in skirting risers and steps over 12mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 including grouting the joint with white cement and matching pigments etc complete. size of tile 600x600 (single charged) branded.

Kota stone slab flooring over 20 mm (average) thick cement mortar 1:6( 1 cement : 6 course sand) laid over & jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of slabs including rubbing & polishing complete with base of cement mortar 1:4 (1cement:4 coarse sand)

Making plinth protection 50 mm thick of cement concrete. 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 course sand : 6 graded stone aggrt. 20 mm. nominal size) over 75mm bed of dry brick ballast 40mm nominal size well rammed and consolidated and grouted with fine sand including finishing the top smooth.
