WORKS CONTRACT FOR ELECTRICAL HEAT TRACING ALONG WITH INSULATION OF TANK ON SUB-CONTRACT BASIS IN CONNECTION WITH TANKAGE WORK FOR LUBE MODERNIZATION and BOTTOM UPGRADATION (LMBU) PROJECT OF HPCL, MUMBAI REFINERY, INDIA

Design, detail engineering, submission of drawings & calculations, procurement, testing at vendor's works, supply including procurement services of all equipment / materials for complete Electrical Heat tracing system as mentioned in tank PDS, Electrical SOW attached elsewhere in the tender; including supply of required quantities & rating of weatherproof PDBs & LDPs, all power and control cables from PDBs/LDPs to tracers/RTDs, multi circuit temperature controller, junction boxes, T-connectors, heating tape, tracer, interface equipment with Owner’s DCS system, necessary connectors and all associated materials, earthing materials, mandatory spares, commissioning spares, special tools & tackles and consumables, construction, fabrication, transportation of equipment/ materials from contractor's warehouse/store to place of installation, unpacking, surface preparation, installation, testing, mechanical completion, pre- commissioning and commissioning required for completing & establishing a fully functional and operative Electrical Heat Tracing System and associated facilities including any balance field engineering, supply of all erection materials & structural supports/MS frames required (for installation of PDBs, LDPs, Power connectors, T-connectors, junction boxes, heating tape/tracer, necessary fixing arrangement of cables on tank, etc.), laying, connection & termination of all power & control cables from PDB/LDP to tracers/RTDs, testing of multi circuit temperature controller, installation of earthing material and connection to purchaser's earthing grid, installation of metallic tags, aluminum fixing tape, cable glands & lugs, all other associated materials, etc. as required for process, testing and commissioning of complete system providing construction and all other activities complete as per scope of work/supplies detailed in various sections of the tender document, drawings, specifications, including civil works such as concrete foundations, excavation, disposal of surplus earth, sand, bricks, aligning, levelling, grouting / welding, bolting, riveting, etc. including all labour and materials as per tender document, approved drawings, specifications of this tender and direction of Engineer in charge.

APPLICATION OF INSULATION FOR ELECTRICAL HEAT TRACED TANKS: Supply of all materials, application of insulation as applicable on outside surface of tank shell, roof, nozzles, manholes, appurtenances, attachments etc., including supply of all materials and installation of all insulation supports as per Job Specification: C068-261-06-43-IL- S001, applicable standards and completing the work in all respect as per drawings, specifications, standards and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge. Surface preparation and primer application on insulated surfaces is covered under painting Schedule of rate. All materials shall be Supplied by Contractor .
