Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of Karnataka Public Procurement Portal (KPPP) due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The tenderer shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of his tender, and the employer will in no case be responsible and liable for those costs.

Conditional tenders will not be accepted.

All the formats prescribed in the bid document shall be filled by the tenderer in complete manner.

Royalty on construction materials and other taxes will be deducted as per prevailing Govt., orders as may be modified from time to time.

Materials like, steel, cement etc., required for the work shall be procured by the tenderer themselves and should got tested positive by the quality control authority before use on the work.

Any discrepancies observed in the documents uploaded by the tenderer the tender shall liable to rejected.

Earnest Money Deposit will have to be in any one of the forms as per the instructions in the financial bid document and shall have to be valid for 45 days beyond the validity of the tender.

All the formats prescribed in the bid documents shall be filled in complete manner. (section 2 and 3 of the bid document) and shall be uploaded properly, signed by renderer. Necessary certificates shall be uploaded along with the formats wherever required. General documents section can be used for this purpose.

Tenderers are required to read the Bid Documents carefully before submission of their bid.

If the tenderer quotes bid price below the estimated contract value (Amount put to tender) then the tenderer has to submit the additional security deposit equal to the difference in cost and the additional security deposit should have a validity for the period of execution.

The Tenderers are bound to furnish the original certified documents to the employer within a week time from the day of opening of technical bid for verification, failing which the bid of tenderer will be considered as non responsive.

The contractor shall strictly take all reasonable steps to protect the environment on and off the site and to avoid damage or nuisance to persons or to property of the public or others resulting from pollution, noise or other causes arising as a consequence of his methods of operation.

Tenderer should have latest GST Registration and latest clearance certificate in their name.

Total value of Civil Engineering Construction works executed in the and payments received in the last five year i.e., 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24 and 2024-25

Technical Criteria

General

Minimum financial turnover (civil engineering construction works) not less than two times the annual payments from this contract (Rs. xxxxx Lakhs)

Executed in any one year the following minimum quantities of work (Cement Concrete - xxxx cum, Earthwork - xxxx cum, etc) (80% of peak rate of construction)

Tenderer or his identified Sub Contractor should possess valid Electrical License for executing building electrificatio works and should have executed similar electrical works totallng Rs. xxxxxx (not less than 50% of electrical works) n any one year

Tenderer or his identified Sub Contractor should possess valid license for executing water supply / sanitary engineering works and should have executed similar works totallng Rs. xxxxxx (not less than 50% of electrical works) n any one year

Liquid assets and /or availability of credit facilities of no less than Rs. xxxxxx Lakhs (estimated cash flow for 3 months of peak construction period)

Total value of civl engineering works executed and payments received in the last five years (year-wise)

Past Experience

The Tenderer or his identified sub contractor should possess valid license for executing water supply/sanitary engineering works issued by BWSSB/KUWS&DB and should have executed similar water supply/sanitary engineering works totalling Rs. 3.60 Lakhs in any one year in the last Five year.

Work Done Certificate

The Tenderer or his identified sub-contractor should possess required valid electrical license for executing building electrification works issued by KPWD/Government electrical Inspectorate and should have executed similar electrical works totalling Rs. 0.81 Lakhs in any one year in the last Five year.

N-Number of years prescribed for completion of the works for which Tenders are invited. B-Value of existing commitments and on-going works to be completed during the next 4 months
