CONSTRUCTION OF DRAINAGE SYSTEM AND CONNECTING DRAIN FROM UNIT LOC TO MAIN ROAD AT MECH INF AT MIL STN HISAR UNDER GE HISAR

M&L for following points from (A) to (G) to be followed and executed on priorty by the contractor before starting the execution of the work for maintaining proper levels from one point to another (approx area 885 x 0.90m = 796.50 sqm) to meet exact gradient towards the existing drainages. Note- The jobs also include dewatering whereever encountered at site while execution. (A) Site clearence and grubbing - Removal of vegetation, debris, and topsoil to prepare the base for grading. (B) Rough excavation - Earthwork for leveling high spots and rough profiling to the slope. (C) Filling and compacting - Backfilling low areas with suitable excavated or procured earth ( murum) including watering and mechanical compaction. (D) Fine grading and slope profiling - Precision leveling to create the required gradient (slope) for the intended drainage path. (E) Tool and Plant Mobilization and operation of heavy earth moving equipment ( eg JCB, Soil compactor). (F) Site survey and layout marking - Establishing invert levels and layout for the drainage system. (G) All level sheets to be submitted to the Eng-in-Charge before execution of the work complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition/dismantling/cutting of existing road portion along with base/hard core complete and excavation in trenches including , n exc 1.5m wide and n exc 1.5m depth for foudation in soft and loose soil etc. rate including repair the edges of the road with complete treatment (from base to top layer) with smooth finish to match existing road along the sides of the drain/drain grating covers after construction of complete drainage on roads all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches, n exc 1.5m wide and n exc 1.5m depth for foudation in soft and loose soil etc all as specified and directed.

M&L for returning filing in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soils to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing including spreading, ramming and compacting of the low lying area just near the purposed drainage or connected area or area where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregates) as in foundation filling/mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregates) as in surface channels and drains complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30cm inner girth in cement concrete using extra cement including forms, moulds, mitred/stopped ends etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L fly ash bricks straight or curved in plan exc 6 mtr mean radius built in CM (1:4) using old size bricks complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in CM 1:3 on brick/concrete wall surfaces of any description and finishing the surfaces even and smooth without using exra cement with WPC @ 3% by weight of cement or as per manufacturer instructions complete all as specified and directed. Note-: Water proofing compound (WPC) shall be measured and paid separately
