M&L for attending break down of pipe line bursting/cracks including excavation in hard / dense soil with the use of Earth moving machinery / labour and taking out old CI /GI/MS defective / misaligned water pipe line of size 200/150/100/80 mm dia bore carefully after disconnection of joints to a length up to 8 mtr and create bund with excavated earth and dewatering / bailing out water complete with diesel engine driven pump set and positioning the pipe line after repairs, returning filling and removal of surplus soil / excavated material with the help of excavator / proclainer all as directed.

NOTE : (a) M&L for Lead Joints/ spares / CI /GI specials will be measured and paid separately. (b) The rate is deemed to be included the Cost for tool / plant and transportation required for attending the repair work. (d) Disconnecting / dismantling/ cutting the existing pipe line is included in the quoted rate. (e) The rate is inclusive of earth work, RF & R, removal etc complete. (iv) The breakdown shall be attended within 4 Hrs of intimation and time of restoration shall be maximum of 8 Hours. The additional manpower required to complete the job is included in quoted rate. If job was not completed within 8 hours Rs 10000/- per day penalty shall be levied.

M & L for dismantling of motor of following capacities from installed position after disconnecting the coupling and electric connections and transporting the motor to the work shop, strip opening of the motor complete including dismanlting stator, rotor assembly and cleaning the complete assemblies by replacing glass sleeve of connecting leads from common termination to terminal block,and washing with carbon tetra chloride, decarbonising and cleaning the rotor with CTC solution. Binding the loose coils with binding cloth, varnishing the coils complete and applyng bectol on the excitor coils, stator coils and heating complete, re-assembling the unit and testing with megger for insualtion value, aligning with pump, re-inserting shims where necessary, refixing with coupling, tightening with torque wrench to required level, re-connecting the electric cable etc and check for drawing current testing, commissioning etc all as directed.

M & L for dismantling the pumpset of following capacity, checking the worn out parts like impeller, shaft, stuffing box, shaft sleeve using Micrometer and transporting to workshop for repairs, check for condition of bearings, removing scales from impeller and pump housing, building the worn out metal of transmission shaft to required level, machining to the required size on lathe machine, grinding and finishing to match the sleeve, and fixing into the housing, re-assembling, transport back to the installation, installing in position, check for alignment with dial gauge, inserting shims where necessary, refixing with coupling, tightening with torque wrench to required level, re-connecting the flanged pipe connections of suction/ delivery including replacement of rubber insertion etc complete, all as directed.
