Erection of Ventilation equipments The work involves a) study of drawings, equipment passport documents, inspection of foundation/ Embedded part (EP) at site, receipt of the ventilation equipment as a free issue material from NPCIL store, loading, transporting, unloading & uncrating the box, inspection, temporary storage, shifting to the location, erection over the equipment pedestal, levelling, alignment with base frame, fixing of vibro-isolators, bolting as per the technical specifications & equipment passport documents and post- inspection after erection of equipment, preparation and handing over of as built drawing & reports. The work also includes arrangement of tools & tackles, machineries, manpower, scaffoldings at all level, supply of fasteners as per the IS 1363 & IS 1367 of property class 5.6, 8.8 for assembly equipment with base frame, depositing uncrated packing materials at designated place as per EIC instruction . Note: The work of supply, fabrication and erection of metal base frames, and providing various shim plates will be measured and paid separately.
Erection of Containment Isolation Valves This work involves a) study of drawings, valve passport documents, inspection of in-situ Embedded pipe penetrations , receipt of the valve as a free issue material from NPCIL store, loading, transporting, unloading & uncrating the box, inspection, temporary storage, shifting to the location, erection along with mating flanges and actuator assembly to the Embedded pipe penetration, levelling, alignment with EP's/duct flanges, as per the technical specifications & valve passport documents b)post- inspection after its erection, preparation and handing over of reports. c)seat leak testing(pneumatic testing) of the valves prior to erection and pneumatic testing of pipe-valve assembly post erection. The work also includes arrangement of tools & tackles, machineries, manpower, scaffoldings at all level, depositing uncrated packing materials at designated place as per EIC instruction . Note: Welding of the valve flanges with the pipelines will be measured and paid under relavant BOQ item nos.
Erection of ventilation valves : The work involves a) erection of throttle dampers,check dampers, fire dampers,over pressure relief valves and all ventilation related dampers which are installed in line to the ventilation ducting. b) study of drawings, valve passport documents, inspection of Embedded part (EP) at site, receipt of the valve as a free issue material from NPCIL store, loading, transporting, unloading & uncrating the box, inspection, temporary storage, shifting to the location, erection along the ventilation ducting work and with mating counter flanges in line with the ventilation duct, levelling, alignment with duct flanges as per the technical specifications & valve passport documents and post- inspection after its erection, preparation and handing over of reports. b) supply of adhesive foam gasket, non asbestos compressed gasket gasket for erection c) Dismantling and preservation of actuators & counter weights/ gasket of each valves safely with clear identification of valve code as per the manufacturers/ EIC recommendations in a controlled atmosphere and shall be only erected at the end of contract period/ upon the instruction of EIC. The work also includes arrangement of tools & tackles, machineries, manpower, scaffoldings at all level for execution of the work. Note: ii) The payment for actuator removal,preservation and Re fixing of actuator- sensor will be measured and done separately iii) Welding of ORV Flange over the EP will be measured separately
Erection of SS pipes & fittings The work involves a) study of working drawings, inspection of wall openings at site b) Drawl and Receipt of free issue SS pipes, fittings, flanges, terminal blocks from store as a free issue material from NPCIL store, transportation, temporary storage, unloading & uncrating the box, inspection, temporary storage, shifting to the location. c)fabrication, erection of stainless steel pipes, fittings and flanges over supports, terminal blocks with SS fastners SS 304 as per drawings and technical specification d)Preparation of CRR, erection reports, as built drawing, pressure testing(pneumatic/ hydrotest), visual inspection, providing tools & tackles and manpower, setup for pressure test (pneumatic/ hydro) and manpower, CCC required for completion of work as per the technical specifications and drawing. Note: payment for welding of pipes will be measured and paid under relevant BOQ item
Welding of SS pipes and fittings: The work includes a)Welding of SS pipes by GTAW/SMAW technique, pipe fittings and flanges including the edge preparation, grinding, fit up, Cleaning of weld joints using approved cleaning agents, performing non destructive testing such as DPT, root & final dye penetrant testing of weld joint, deploying NDT qualified personnel in ISNT/ ASNT leval-2 and post cleaning of weld joint. The work also includes arrangement of manpower, plant & machineries, scaffolding, tools & tackles, consumables, gas, preparation & submission of reports, as built drawing, CCC required for completion of work as per the technical specifications and drawing.
Supply of carbon steel pipes,pipe fittings and flanges/dummy plates for containment isolation valves: The work includes supply of Carbon steel pipes and fittings and carbon steel flanges, dummy plates of various sizes and thickness or its fabrication as per ASTM A 671to be used in line during the erection of Containment Isolation Valves.
Fabrication & Erection of CS pipes & fittings The work involves a) study of working drawings, inspection of wall openings at site b) CS pipes, fittings, flanges, including transportation, temporary storage, unloading & uncrating the box, inspection, temporary storage, shifting to the location. c)fabrication, erection of CS pipes, fittings and flanges over supports, as per drawings and technical specification d)Preparation of CRR, erection reports, as built drawing, pressure testing(pneumatic/ hydrotest), visual inspection, providing tools & tackles and manpower, setup for pressure test (pneumatic/ hydro) and manpower, CCC required for completion of work as per the technical specifications and drawing. Supply fabrication and Erection of Carbon Steel (CS) Ducting: The work involves a)Supply of cold rolled Carbon Steel sheets of thickness 2.00 mm as confirming to IS 513-2008 of designation CR3 or CR4. b)preparation of circular and rectangular section duct/ fittings fabrication, development & cutting plan/ drawings for Engineer’s acceptance, rolling, cutting of sheets to required size & shape, bending, edge preparation, drilling, weld fit up, TIG welding for fabrication of circular and rectangular ducts & fittings such as bends, elbows, taps, T-joints, reducers fitted with vanes/ splitters of various sizes, collar piece for grill and mesh fixing, access doors in the duct c)erection of circular and rectangular section ducts & fittings at site, welding using GTAW process, mounting on permanent supports as shown in working drawings. performing non destructive testing such as DPT, root & final dye penetrant testing of weld joint, deploying NDT qualified personnel in ISNT/ ASNT level-2 and post cleaning of weld joint, visual inspection. d)Preparation of erection reports, as built drawing, CCC required for completion of work as per the technical specifications and drawing. This work also includes arrangement of all tools and tackles, machineries, consumables, welding filler wire, manpower of all categaries required for execution of work.
Erection of Metal Mesh over Carbon Steel (CS) Ducting: Supply, fabrication and erection of metal mesh over ventilation ducting as per the drawings and technical specifications. This work also includes cutting and making opening in the air duct by cutting/ grinding wheel, welding of fabricated metal mesh over the duct as per the specification, arrangement of tools & tackles, machineries, consumables, welding filler wire, manpower required for execution of work.
Instrumentation hole (ih) points: Supply and erection of instrumentation hole setup (ih) points over CS ducts as per the specifications The work also involves, driling of hole in duct, welding, fixing of bolt, touchup painting as per WD and specifications.
Supply, fabrication and Erection of Structural Steel: Supply of structural steel material conforming to IS 2062, E250, Quality BR consisting plates/ sheets/ angle/ channel/ beam and various profile as per IS 808, metal gratings, fasteners as per IS 1363 grade 5.6 and grade 8.8 etc, transportation, storage, handling, fabrication of support structure, poison plate, shim plates for equipment, fitup & welding, shifting, erection, site welding, inspection as per drawing and technical specification. This work also includes providing scaffolding / temporary platforms, wire cutting/machining of seismic stopper plates, man power, tools, tackles, plant and machineries, welding electrodes, other consumables and preparation of reports and submission for accpetance.
Supply and application of Paint in Carbon Steel Ducting: The work includes Supply of paint and zinc rich epoxy primer and Surface preparation, grit blasting, application of approved painting system consisting of zinc rich epoxy primer, finish epoxy painting of approved shade RAL as per technical specification on both side surfaces of ducts, duct fittings, vanes
Supply and application of Paint in Pipes and Structural Steel: The work includes a. Supply of paint and zinc rich epoxy primer and surface preparation by grit blasting, application High build Epoxy finish paint in two coats (150 to 160 microns) and to get overall DFT (including primer) of 230 to 240 microns on pipes, pipe fittings and structural steel surfaces as per the instructions given in the working drawings.

Fixing of hilti anchor fasteners using hammer drilling method: The work involves hole drilling in the wall, cleaning and fixing of Hilti anchor fasteners using hammer drilling method in various buildings, location & positions as per drawings and technical specification. This work includes providing manpower,identification, marking, providing hilti machine of various type & capacities, shifting & positioning, tools, tackles, performing drilling using drill bit in reinforced concrete by qualified operators, cleaning, torqueing with torque wrenches, cleaning aids, preparation of reports and submission for acceptance.
Dye penetrant examination of weld joints: Development of procedure, identification of joints, cleaning , carrying out Dye penetrate testing as per the procedure , drawing and technical specification by ISNT/ ASNT level-II qualified personnel, preparation of reports & submission for acceptance, post test cleaning. This work includes providing scaffolding, arranging manpower, tools, tackles, all the DPT consumables of NPCIL approved brands, cleaning consumables.
Radiographic Testing of weld joints: Development of procedure & technique sheets, identification of weld joints, providing & cutting the films to the required dimensions, providing & shifting of radiographic cameras, films, & its accessories, etc to location, placing the joint identification markings on the film cassette, carrying out radiographic examination of the weld joint as per applicable RF codes & standards, drawings and technical specification, processing the films, interpretation of results, preparation of reports and submission for acceptance. This work also includes providing calibrated radiography cameras, radiographic sources, establishing storage facilities for RT sources as per AERB guide lines, dark room facility & other processing facilities for processing films, RT film storage racks, ISNT/ ASNT level-II qualified personnel, manpower, tools & tackles, consumables as required for the work.
Ultrasonic Examination of weld joints: Development of procedure and technique sheets,identification of the joints, shifting the ultrasonic testing machine to the location, flush grinding the weld joint to meet the requirement, cleaning the weld joint, carrying out ultrasonic examination of weld joint by ISNT/ASNT level-II qualified personnel as per the requirements, technique sheet,drawign and technical specification,interpretation,post cleaning, preparation and submision of reports for NPCIL acceptance. This work also includes erection of scaffolding,arranging manpower, tools and tackles, calibrated UT testing machine, probes of various configuration,couplants, cleaning consumables like acetone,etc.
Thermal Insulation of Air ducts and vent Box: Supply of Ceramic fibre insulation matts, glass fabric of 600 GSM, 0.5 to 0.6 mm thick, fibre glass thread, storage, cutting, stitching, pre fabrication of matts as per the sizes, cleaning of surface, wrapping over the duct as per the drawings and specifications. The work also includes fixing the spacer / wrapping with binding wire, supply of all ancillaries tools & tackles, scaffolding at all levels, manpower, inspection, preparation and submission of asbuilt drawing, reports.
Ceramic insulation Insulation with Aluminum Cladding: The work also includes supply of 0.8 mm thick Aluminum sheet confirming to IS 737 of designation 19000, H2 condition, cutting, pre fabrication, clading over the insulation matt over the duct, supply of consumables like screws, rivets, aluminum adhesive tapes, sealant of approved make and specification, arranging the fabrication setup for cladding for satisfactory completion of work.

Ceramic insulation with Stainless Steel Cladding: The work also includes supply of SS clading material confirming to ASTM A 240-02a TYPE -304, one side No 8 mirror finish, SS 304 wire mesh of opening size 1 mm x1 mm, wire dia 0.25 mm, Supply and fixing of aluminum foil of thickness 0.1 mm over the duct/ vent box, adhesive aluminum tape, supply fabrication of SS 304 strip/ pins, welding of cleats/ pins, supply and fixing of ancillaries, binding wire, screws, rivets of materail SS 304, supply and application of sealant over the cladding joints, arranging the fabrication setup for cladding for satisfactory completion of work.
Dismantling of erected CS Ducting: Dismantling of erected carbon steel duct, including stiffners,flanges , vanes by cutting, drilling as per the modified drawings and depositing as per the instruction of EIC. The work also involves providing tools & tackles, machinaries, manpower, consumables required for execution of work.
Erection of the Dismantled CS duct by the replacement of new CS ducting at site. The scope of work includes erection of new Carbon Steel ducts and fittings of thickness 2.00 mm as confirming to IS 513-2008 of designation CR3/CR4, welding using GTAW process, mounting on permanent supports as shown in working drawings. This work also includes arrangement of all tools and tackles, machineries, consumables, welding filler wire, manpower of all categaries required for execution of work.
Dismantling of Erected Metal structural platforms and structures (for shifting of ventilation equipment) by cutting/ grinding and handing over the dismantled items to EIC as per the instruction. This work also includes arrangement of tools & tackles, machineries, consumables, manpower, P&M required for execution of work.
Re-erection of dis-assembled metal Structural items: This work includes welding of dismantled structures and touch up painting, arrangement of tools & tackles, machineries, consumables, fasteners, manpower, P&M required for execution of work.
Core cutting of reinforced concrete (mm - dia of hole and meter - depth of hole): Identification, marking, mounting and settingup machine, performing core cutting of reinforced concrete wall/ floor using diamond core drilling of required size, removing and disposal of debries & cleaning the area, inspection, preparation and submission of reports, including providing plant & machinaries, manpower, tools & tackles and consumables for completion of work
Closing of gap for wall and pipe penetrations Closing of gap between duct, pipe and wall penetration with fire stop sealant compound as per technical specification. The work also includes Supply of Fire stop sealant, Mortar, Ceramic Insulation for filling of gap, arrangement of necessary tools & tackles, consumables, machinaries for completing the work.
Manpower supply in the field of highskilled category for carrying out the assistance in commisioning/inspection of the erected equipments/dampers as per the schedule /requirement. [1 Shift operation = 9 Hrs. of work by 1 person of relevant category including lunch break]
Manpower supply in the field of data entry operatorcategory for miscellaneous data entry works such as inspection and record keeping of already preserved equipments at site,, assisting during pre commissioning checks of ventilation equipments, periodic checking of operability of electric actuators, ventilation dampers etc as per the requirement The work also involves providing necessary hand tools, tackles, safety gears required for the work.
