Comprehensive maintenance / repairs and periodical servicing of two numbers of electrically operated passenger lift (capacity of 08 Nos passenger lift of 544 Kg and 13 Nos passenger lift of 884 Kg weight) complete through OEM with electrical/control panels and all connected Gadgets/Devices including ARDs and replacement of all defective parts and sundry items like grease, lubricant oil, cotton waste, small pieces of cable legs for different capacity lifts at the following location in INS Agrani all as specified and directed by Engineer- in-charge :- (a) 08 Nos passenger lift of 544 kg at MAP Phase II building used for (G + 6) floors. Make of lift : ESCON Elevators (b) 13 Nos passenger lift of 884 Kg at MAP Phase II bldg user for (G + 6) floors Make of lift : ESCON Elevators
Note :- (i) Rates for Spare parts costing less than Rs. 500/- are included in item No 1 which required for lift maintenance/repair/replacement . (ii) Customer care contact Number of the repair/rescue agency is to be displayed at each lift. The firm should attend defects/breakdown rescue action to be initiated immediately and to be completed within 4hrs. Record for the same is also to be maintained and updated in log book eah time, and same will be produced to Department by monthly. (iii) Well trained, service engineer/technicians deputed by OEM are to be employed at site for lift maintenance. Prior approval in this regard is to be obtained from accepting officer. (iv) The work will be of continuous in nature without Sundays, Holidays or Strikes and the contractor must employ lift technicians for the work when necessity arises. (v) The service engineer/technician should ensure the serviceability of the lifts for every odd situation. The contractor should ensure full safety and security of personnel deployed. Any casualty or injury sustained by the service engineer/technician during the currency of the contract at the defence premises shall be sole liability of the contractor.(vi) Contractor has to provide one mobile Phone with mobile No for receiving & attending emergency Complaints from user side/ Department. And the contact nos to be clearly displayed at both lift cabins duly laminated. (vii) All tools & plants required for carrying out comprehensive maintenance and necessary stationary & documaents (log book) records at each lift installations will be arranged by the contractor and nothing extra will be admissible in this account. (viii) The quoted rate are deemed to be included for provisions of communication facilities to service engineer/technician with department and other persons. (ix)the contractor should ensure all provisions as laid down by State/Central Govt. Labour Commissions. Employees provident fund payments, Lift insurance and Licence renewal to be made from lift licence issue authority,Govt. of Tamil Nadu for Lift and to display certification of lift licence in lift car etc are to be complied. (x) Contractor needs to carry out bimonthly (15 days), monthly, quarterly and half yearly tests as specified in Particular Specition in triplicate as per format attached. The rates quoted shall be deemed to be included for all the tests stipulated and as directed by inspecting officer. One load test on each lift, other than required during lift breakdowns is to be carried out and result to be submitted to the department. Log book shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. (xi) Addressing complaints shuld strictly adhere timelines otherwise penalty will be levied as per relavent PS condition of CA (xii) Contractor has to submit MoU with OEM ie ESCON Elevators before commencement of work to Department which certify the all activities to be carried out through OEM only.
Providing services for maintenance of Electrically operated (Gearless PMS machine) passenger lift two numbers for 08 passengers (544Kg) and 13 Passenger (884kg) capacity with a speed of 1.5 m/s to serve ground floor and 06 upper floor installed in MAP Phase II bldg at INS.Agrani to keep neat & clean the lift operational room and cabin in both Lift, all as specified and as directed at site for One shift/day each of 8 Hrs.(one lift operator per Shift) (shift timings: 09:00am-05:00pm) and to carry out emergency rescue operations for immediate relief of passenger.
Note:(a) Contractor has to provide the signature sheets and pucca bound attendence register for marking attendence. Further to instruct his employees to ensure proper functioning of lift and report to contractor as well as Department in case of any malfunctioning immediately and to make necessary entry of fault in breakdown register maintained at site.
(b) Contractor has to provide the 2 x uniform including black shoes to their employees as per colour duly approved by Engineer-in- charge. (c) Contractor has to submit the duty roaster well in advance for every month duly singed by AGE, JE and contractor. ( d) Contractor has to provide one mobile Phone with mobile No for receiving & attending emergency Complaints from user side/ Department. And the contact nos to be clearly displayed at both lift cabins duly laminated. (e) Lift operator should be present at scheduled time as per duty roaster failing which duty operator will be treated as absent from duty and penalty will be levied as per relavent PS condition of CA .( f) The contractor should ensure all provisions as laid down by State/Central Govt, Labour Commissions. Employees provident fund payments, Employee Insurance, minimum fair wages, working conditions etc and to submit proof thereof in support while claiming payments. (g) Contractor should provide umbrella and minor tools for repair.
