Disconnecting electric connection of 200-270 HP motor, removing the UNSV motor from existing place by unscrewing the foundation bolts and nuts, decoupling from the pump, setting aside and transporting to workshop for repairs including dismantling the motor,cutting/taking out burnt winding of stator, rotor, cleaning the slots, transporting back after repair/winding & re-assembling the same complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(a) Rewinding of motor will be measured and paid separately under relevent item. (b) The motor shall be squirrel cage/slip ring induction motor. (c) The rates quoted shall deemed to be included the cost of loading/unloading, transportation, grease, nuts, bolts and washers of any size and shape as required at site and refixing of serialviceable motor duly functional and testing complete at its existing location/position complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (d) Replacement of u/s bearings and grease completely.

Note :- (i) Flanges to be provided at every 6m length or shorter length as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Flange will be welded to the pipe and gasket to be provided between two flanges and will be fixed with 12 Nos of nuts and bolts (M-20 Type) at each jointing. Flanges will be of IS-6392 specifications. The cost of flanges, nuts & bolts, gaskets and connection of flanges to pipeline by welding shall be deemed to be included in the quoted item rate.

(ii) All standard fittings such as bends(any type, radius or angle), tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc) TEE pieces single branch, 'Y' Junction, double branch, cross collars, cap and plugs, MS flanges complete bends, TEE pieces, collars, elbow, tail piece etc jointing are deemed to be included in the quoted item rate. (iii) Jointing of pipe line will be done through flanging or welding as per the site requirment and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
