Soil Testing:- Carrying out Geological investigation and sub soil extraction by drilling of 100mm dia holes at required locations upto 10.00m from existing GL to determine profile of strata, water table, sub water pressure etc complete all as per IS as specified & as directed on site. Rates mentioned are to be inclusive for drilling bore holes & determining field and lab tests according to relevant specification of IS-2131, IS-6403, IS-1498 & IS-2720 as mentioned below:- (a) Collection of disturbed and undisturbed soil samples at interval of 1.00 mtr or at change of strata or as per relevant IS code. (b) Conduction laboratory tests on disturbed/ undisturbed (soil/ soft rock samples). As considered necessary according to the relevant of IS specification of 2720 as given below:- (i) Sieve Analysis (ii) Atterberg limits (iii) Natural moisture content (iv) Particle size analysis test (v) Bulk density (vi) Specific Gravity (vii) Free swell index and selling properties of soil (viii) Organic matter in soil if any (ix) Consolidation Test (Compressed index value) (x) Triaxial compression test and determination of shear parameter (C&O Test) as per relevant IS (xi) Harmful salt (complete investigation as already ref) (c) Ground Water Table:- (i) Maximum and minimum levels of ground water in the area with source of information (ii) Ground water table during the investigation Note (a) Preparation and Submission of Soil report duly incorporating all above factors and should clearly bring out recommendation for foundation based on total size/ loading structure and soil profile. Report should also include the recommendations for filling of soil with type and replacement of soil in case it is required. Recommendations of floor design to be given in case of black cotton soil in 3 hard copies and 1 soft copy. (b) The SBC of the soil is required to be given at every 1m interval upto the depth of bore hole. Calculation of bearing capacity will be governed generally as per IS-8009 (Pt-I)-1976, IS 2720 (Pt-II)-1980, IS 6403-1981, IS-1904-1986 & IS-1080-1985 and other relevant IS codes. (c) With every site’s soil Investigation Report, a details site plan showing the appx location of each bore duly numbered as per log of bore hole should be enclosed. (d) Every page of the Soil Investigation Report should have the Name of the Job for which soil Investigation is being carried out. In case of multiple sites of a single Job area being investigated, name of each site shall be put on each page of report pertaining to the sites. (e) All pages of the Soil Investigation Report shall be serially numbered, stamped and signed by the agency carrying out the soil investigation. (f) As the locations of each bore hole is spread in 10km diameter as shown in site plan att, Transportation charges incl loading and unloading of heavy griders, T&P Technician etc complete from Laboratory to work site and back shall be deemed included in rates quotes by bidders.

Consultancy for structureal design:- Carrying out structural design of Vocational Lab of overall size 7.00 mtr x 10.60 mtr, height of Lab up 4.00 mtr from Floor Finish Level with as per Line Plan attached with the following details:- (a) Plan, Elevation and section (b) Foundation details of Bldg (Depth of Foundation, Type of Footings, Type of Col etc.) (c) RCC Structural Details (Roof Slab, Roof projection, Roof Beam, Plinth Beam, Lintel, Footings and Chajja etc) (d) SBC to be considered as per Soil testing Result Notes. All drawing and design to be vetted from IIT/ NITs/ IISC Bangalore/ any Govt Engineering College.
