RE-EXCAVATION OF BAMNIA POND

Cutting and clearing jungles including shrubs, water weeds, bushes, trees, plants, upto 30 cm. girth including removing as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Balling out stagnant water by pump on any other means including all lifts and making all arrangement for disposal as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation in ordinary soil / mixed soil i.e. clay mixed with moorun, kankar, pebbles / silt dry or moist / slushy silt / sticky soil for WDS / WHS / RESERVOIR / SFMIS etc with hydraulic excavator or any other means including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirement of lines, grades and cross section and transporting to embankment / disposal site within all lifts and lead upto 1000 m including spreading, leveliing disposed spoils at disposed area. (mode of measurement: pre work and post work)

Excavation in gravel / moorum / kankar / compact moorum / very much weathered rock / sticky soil mixed with moorum or ghooting for WDS / WHS / RESERVOIR / SFMIS etc with hydraulic excavator or any other means including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirement of lines, grades and cross section and transporting to embankment / disposal site within all lifts and lead upto 1000 m including spreading, leveliing disposed spoils at disposed area. ( mode of measurement: pre work and post work)

Excavation in soft weather rock / solt laterite rocks for WDS / WHS / RESERVOIR / SFMIS etc with hydraulic excavator or any other means including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirement of lines, grades and cross section and transporting to embankment / disposal site within all lifts and lead upto 1000 m including spreading, leveliing disposed spoils at disposed area. (mode of measurement: pre work and post work)

Extra rate where land is to be arranged by the contractor on item no. 1.03, 1.04, 1.05 for disposal of spoils.

Dressing and chilchalling flanks or slope of embankment including filling with earth or cutting upto150mm.average thickness and ramming properly after sprinkling water.

FOR STRUCTURE WORK BATHING GHAT & PROTECTION WORK :

Excavation for structure Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out, removing, spreading or stacking of spoils within a lead of 150 m. as directed and including trimming the sides of the trenches, leveling, dressing and ramming the bottom, and backfilling with approved material complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge . a) upto 3 m depth (ii) With pumping out water including shoring as required.

Sand filling in foundation trenches and at the back of abutments, wing-walls etc. with good local sand free from earth in layers not exceeding 15 cm. including inundating each layer by profuse water and poking and ramming layer by layer complete including supply of sand. Quality of sand is to be approved by the Engineer-in-charge.
