REPAIR/ MAINT OF UG CABLE INCLUDING PANELS FOR EASTERN AND WESTERN AREA UNDER GE (MCTE) MHOW

Dismantling & taking out LT burnt cable ends of any size from transformer/ LT panel/ LT feeder pillar/ street light pole box/trenches any type/ size, for repair/ making suitable for reconnection to cable, providing lugs to burnt end of cables, preparing fresh terminals and reconnection, fixing the removed portion of cable with transformer/ in trenches/ along pole/ panel/ feeder pillar box, including excavation of loop & refilling complete using old bricks and sand returning filling the excavated soil complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for dismanteling of old damaged/ cracked PCC coping and prepare the new coping for steel/ PCC pole using PCC 1:3:6 type D-2 with 20mm graded stone aggregate making collar above ground level on existing foundation of pole size 450 x 450 x 300mm high and plastering with1:4 cement sand mixter for smooth look incl curing to achieve the strength and breaking/ removing existing old damaged coping complete all as specified and directed.

Repair of earth pit incl required excavation, earth work and PCC work to make good damaged/ disturbed surfaces of earth pit chamber & making new pit cover of RCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate reinforced and lifting handle on RCC cover with 8mm bars at 150mm centre to centre both ways incl supply & fixing of wire mess and funnel including re-connection of earth wire/ strip with panel/ transformer using GI nut, bolts washer complete all as specified and directed.

Checking, identifying the defect/ faulty point of LT/HT cable using Cable fault locator machine or by manual excavation and taking out bricks from the trench upto fault point along cable route and re-laying the same using old bricks/ sand incl returning filling and making good surface after rectification of defect for 0 -200 mtr length of cable, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Cable fault locator machine with all T&P required for identifying the faulty point will be arrange by contractor and the cost is included in unit rate for finding of fault using machine or by manualy.

All as per Srl item No. 5.00 above but 0 - 400 mtr

Dismantling & taking out defective LT PVC/ XLPE cable of size 25 sqmm 3.5 core to 95 sqmm, 3.5 core from trenches with cutting and removing defective parts and supply & making cable joint using straight through joint cold shrink type and making connection of LT cables, meggering & re-storation of electric supply complete including jointing material for the following sizes of cable complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Srl item No. 7.00 above but 120 Sqmm 3.5 core to 400 Sqmm 3.5 core

Trimming/ pruning of tree branches touching to the LT over head line or near to the LT over head line as per direction of Engineer in charge complete including removing the tree branches from site complete all as specified and directed. Note: - (a) Prior shut-down shall be obtained from concerned JE/ AGE E/M before taking out the trimming work by contractor. (b) Span from one pole to next pole (30 to 50 m) will be considered and measured as a job. (c) T&P such as ladder, rope, cutter, axes and safety of workmen, will be provided by the contractor. (d) This job may be repeated after three month at the same location.

M&L for spray painting over a coat of red oxide on old/ existing outdoor/ indoor LT panel/ feeder piller box any size/ type with powder coated paint using light grey paint in outerside area of complete panel after cleaning and preparing surface incl writting of Panel No & Danger sign complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Painting to street light pole of steel tubular swaged/ swan neck type with two coat of aluminium paint after cleaning to rusted portion of pole and finishing the surfaces including one coat primer top to bottom, painting on cross arms/ FI clamps/ street liht brackets of any type including making alternative blak and yellow strip with synthethic enemelled paint up to 1.5 Mtr height from ground level & writing of pole numbers with black paint on poles complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting of LT PCC poles 9.00m with acrylic paint after apply two coat of cement base primer and making the surface smooth including painting of cross arms, clamps, etc with two coat of aluminium paint and providing alternative strip of 30 cm width (3 black and 2 yellow) from bottom of pole to 1.5 m height, writing of pole numbers in yellow circle 15 cm with black paint on poles complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement Danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M.S. clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for LT, 20x15cm size, for HT,25 x 20cm size complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing steel tubular swaged poles complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts & screws as specified type 410 SP-31, 9.00/12.00 metres long, erected to truely vertical position, painting externaly embedded portion in PCC with black bitumenous paint and externally exposed to view portion with aluminium paint in two coats, making five alternate strips 30cm wide with black and yellow paint in two coats, marking MES number with black paint including taking down old pole any type, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Excavation and PCC will be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Dismantling & taking out old steel tubular pole 9/11 mtr long carefully from foundation for re-use, shifting and re-fixing/ re-erecting at other location within MCTE area complete including following (a) Excavation in post hole not exceeding 1.5 Mtr wide & 2 Mtr deep for pole foundation & getting out in soft loose soil, returning, filling in the excavated soil after fixing the pole in foundation, ramming earth around in layers n.exc 25 cm thick and disposal of surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50 metres. (b) M&L for Providing PCC 1:4:8, type D2 ( using 40mm graded stone aggregate) in foundation 600mm x 600mm x 1500mm (planting depth) for concrete encasing the pole upto GL complete all as specified and directed. (c) M&L for Providing PCC 1:3:6, type C2 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) for plinth block/ Collar above GL, 300mm high and 450 x 450mm size. (d) M&L for Painting of pole externally with one coats of black bituminous paint (upto planting depth) and above plinth block/ concrete collar with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer including preparation of surfaces including painting of 30 cm wide black bands 3 Nos with synthetic enamel paint in alternate layers upto the height of 1.5 Mtr above plinth block.

Repairing/ overhauling of existing Outdoor type LT panel board/ feeder pillar box of any size/ type fixed on PCC block incl cleaning with compressed air, tightening of all electric connection to the bus bar & switch gears, refixing of loosed doors with proper fixing & locking arrangement & necessary welding work as required and replacement of wornout/ burnt/ rusted/ loose lugs, door lock, nut bolt, voltmeter, ammeter, CTs, hing, washers, internal wiring with suitable size (minimum 1.5 sqmm) of PVC copper conductor wire, repair to PCC work as require at site and including disconnection of all cable from the bus bar and insulating the necked portion of Al/Cu conductor and re-connect the same after repair of panel and proper connection of main earth wire/ lead with panel body using lugs complete all as specified and directed.

Repairing/ overhauling of existing indoor type LT panel board/ bus bar/ V-TPN DBs of any size/ type fixed on building wall incl cleaning with compressed air, tightening of all electric connection to the bus bar & switch gears, refixing of loosed doors with proper fixing & locking arrangement & necessary welding work as required and replacement of wornout/ burnt/ rusted/ loose lugs, door lock, nut bolt, hing, washers, internal wiring with suitable size (minimum 1.5 sqmm) of PVC copper conductor wire, repair to plaster work as require at site and including disconnection of all cable/ sub main from the bus bar and insulating the necked portion of Al/Cu conductor and re-connect the same after repair of panel and proper connection of main earth wire/ lead with panel body using lugs complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6mm thick directly buried in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5m below the ground level connected to GI earth wire 4mm dia by means of bolts nuts check nuts and washers of galvanised iron at 2 points & GI pipe 15mm bore light grade for protection of earthing wire PCC chamber 1:3:6 (type C-1) using 20mm graded stone aggregate, watering pipe 20mm bore light grade, funnel with wire mesh, 50mm thick cover of RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with 8mm MS bars at 150mm centre to centre both ways and charcoal dust and common salt all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of MES SSR Part-I and including excavation & earth work & connecting the earthing point/ equipment and testing complete all as specified and directed.
