PROVISION OF ANTI TERMITE TREATMENT IN VARIOUS SHEDS AT AF STATION AMLA

Material & labour for providing and injecting chemical emulsion for Post Constructional Antitermite Treatment along external wall where the apron is not provided using chemical emulsion at the rate of 7.5 litres per sq.m of the vertical surface of the sub-structure to a depth of 300mm including excavating channel along the wall and rodding etc. complete all as specified and directed and work shall be executed as per IS 6313 (Part-3) 2001 Para No 5.3.1.1 & 5.3.1.2

Material & labour for applying along the external wall below concrete or masonry apron using chemical emulsion @ 2.25 litres per linear metre including drilling and plugging holes etc. in apron complete all as specified and directed and work shall be executed as per IS 6313 (Part-3) 2001 Para No 5.3.1.1 & 5.3.1.2

Material & labour for treatment of soil under existing floors using chemical emulsion @ one litre per hole, 300mm apart including drilling and plugging 12mm dia holes with cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand) to match the existing floors complete all as specified and directed and work shall be executed as per IS 6313 (Part-3) 2001 Para No 5.3.1.3

Material & labour for filling of voids in masonry using chemical emulsion one litre per hole, at 300mm intervals including drilling holes at 45 degree and replugging them with cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand) to match the existing floors complete all as specified and directed and work shall be executed as per IS 6313 (Part-3) 2001 Para No 5.3.1.5

Material & labour for applying at points of contact of wood work by chemical emulsion (in oil or kerosene based solution) @ 0.5 litre/hole by drilling 6mm dia holes at a downward angle of 45 degree at 150mm centre to centre and sealing the same complete all as specified and directed and work shall be executed as per IS 6313 (Part-3) 2001 Para No 5.3.1.6, 5.3.2, 5.3.2.1 & 5.3.2.2

Note for Item No 01 to 05 : (a) Anti-termite treatment shall be got done through an approved specialist agency which is a member of Indian Pest control Association(IPCA) holding valid licence as per clause 13 of Insecticides Act 1968. and work to be executed as per IS 6313 (Part-3) 2001. (b) Product for treatment should be approved from Central building institute of Roorkee or equivalent govt agency & chemicals Chloropyriophos emulsifiable concentrates conforming to IS 8944 -2005 shall be used as per concentration indicated in IS code and make shall be as specified in Appx ' B' .
