COMPREHENSIVE MAINTENANCE WORKS TO BUILDINGS INCLUDING INTERNAL BR SERVICES INSIDE CABS CEMILAC AND STIR UNDER AGE BR II AT BANGALORE

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of unreinforced cement concrete as in sub base not exc 150 mm thickness including removing the debris from the building and upto 50m complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 100mm thick Plain Cement Concrete type D-2, (1:4:8) using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in sub base complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 25mm thick Plain Cement Concrete type B-1, (1:2:4) using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in sub base complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 15 mm thick cement mortar screed bed / bedding layer in CM 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) for receiving floor finishes, laid to required levels, slopes and alignment, including surface preparation, mixing, placing, compacting, finishing, curing and all labour, materials, tools and incidental works complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying 9-10mm thick double charge vitrified tiles, polished finish of size 600 x 600 mm with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS 15622, of approved make, in all colours and shades, laid over prepared base using approved polymer modified tile adhesive conforming to IS 15477, applied with notched trowel as per manufacturer’s instructions, including maintaining uniform joints using 5 mm thick PVC tile spacers, complete. The joints shall be filled and finished with approved epoxy based tile grout of matching shade, including cleaning of surface, curing where required and removal of spacers complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for polished vitrified ceramic floor tiles of approved make, light shade, square or rectangular in shape, 10 mm thick, with area of each tile not exceeding 0.36 sqm, laid true to line, level and pattern, including preparation of surface, setting the tiles in neat cement slurry, cutting and fitting where required, filling and pointing joints with white or coloured cement to match the tile shade, and all labour, materials, tools, wastage, curing and incidental works complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

Providing and laying 9-10mm thick Non skid Ceramic floor tiles of size upto 0.36 sqm of 1st quality conforming to IS : 15622 of approved make in colours such as White, Ivory, Grey, Fume Red Brown, laid over prepared base using approved polymer modified tile adhesive conforming to IS 15477, applied with notched trowel as per manufacturer’s instructions, including maintaining uniform joints using 5 mm thick PVC tile spacers, complete. The joints shall be filled and finished with approved epoxy based tile grout of matching shade, including cleaning of surface, curing where complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for non-skid ceramic floor coloured tiles of approved make, square or rectangular in shape, 7–8 mm thick, having area of each tile exceeding 0.06 sqm but not exceeding 0.11 sqm, laid true to line, level and pattern, set in neat cement slurry over prepared screed bed, including cutting and fitting where required, filling and pointing joints with white or coloured cement to match the tile shade, and all labour, materials, tools, wastage and incidental works complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for 10 mm thick cement plaster/rendering in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) on fair faces of brick masonry or concrete surfaces in vertical locations, as a backing coat for receiving wall tiles, including preparation and cleaning of the surface, raking out joints where required, rendering true to line, level and plumb, finishing with a roughened key for proper adhesion of tiles, curing, and all labour, materials, tools and incidental works complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
