Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5m in width or 10 sqm on plan) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms , lift upto 1.5m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed , within a lead of 50m -All kinds of soil.
Supplying and filling in plinth with river sand under floors including, watering, ramming consolidating and dressing complete.
Excavation for road way in soil using manual means including loading in truck for carrying of cut earth to embankment site with all lifts and lead upto 1000 metres.
Scarifying the existing bituminous surfaceto a depth of 50mm and disposal of scarified material within all lifts and lead upto 1000 metres - by mechanical means.
Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - all work upto plith level - 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand : 3 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size)
Providing and laying lean reinforced cement concrete pavement over existing concrete base/prepared base with M30 grade concrete with minimum cement content of 405 kg /cum and maximum size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 20mm mixed with super plasticizer at 200ml per bag of cement to improve workability without impairing strength and durability mixed in weight batching plant as per approved mix design,transporting to site, laying, compacting with vibrators and including finishing the top surface smooth with power trowel, with floor hardner sprinkled @ 4Kg/sqm, roughening the surface with steel wire brush in straight direction perpendicular to road. The rate is inclusive of cutting longitudinal joint of size 4mm x15mm at centre of the road and traverse joints between 2 to 3m centre to centre (the rate is exclusive of cost of reinforcements, centering and bituminous pad at expansion joints) Note : Cement content considered in this item is @ 405Kg/cum. Excess /less cement used as per design mix is payable/recoverable separately – upto plinth level.

Providing,laying , spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed material by tipper to site , laying in uniform layer by manual means in sub-base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with smooth 3 wheeled steel roller to achieve the desired density.
Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 kg/sqm using mechanical means. (As per MoRTH specification, 4th Revision)

Raising of various types of manholes and flushing tank by cutting alround the manhole cover, removing the frame and cover from the manhole by cutting the B.T., W.B.M., surface, raising the manhole to the required height with brick work in cement motar 1:4 (One cement and four sand), refixing the frame in position by laying cement concrete 1:1.5:3 (One cement one and half sand and three 20mm HBG metal) including curing, but excluding the cost of reinforcement, finishing the top, inside and outside plastering with 20mm thick in cement mortar 1:3(one cement three sand), the rate includes all materials, providing barricading,caution board, watch and ward etc.,complete till the completion of work with minimum hindrance to the traffic.- 30cm height.
Hire chargs for engaging front end loader of 1cum capacity for cleaning and levelling the road premises. The rate shall include the hire charges of machinery, operating staff and cleaner salaries, fuel charges, lubricants etc., complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.(b) during day time.
